And comment below what kind of cake you'd create with Lambeth Piping!
Thanks for the tutorial. Lambeth is harder than it looks…but the results are beautiful!
It really is! Practice is the only way to get progress with Lambeth, there are definitely no shortcuts with Royal icing haha.
Parabéns pelo seu trabalho!
For anyone that might find this helpful
I use a wilton 362 in place of pme 44
Wilton 16 in place of pme 5.
Wilton 3, 2 and 1 for the finer string works
That’s great, thanks for sharing 🙌🏼
‘Im so glad this technique is back. So pretty. ❤
How have I missed this, wow what a beautiful dress, she looks gorgeous Tracey. Xx
Hi! Quick question. Can you pipe royal icing on Swiss buttercream?
Yes! You can definitely do it. It can be a bit tricky versus on fondant but it can be done 👍🏼
Stunning!! Your talent and skill are amazing!
Thank you so much :)
Another gorgeous cake design! This is a great way to sharpen piping skills. I wanted to join the cake academy, but I’m just a home baker and don’t have a business. The wedding cake challenge was so much fun, though! Thank you Alexandria for your inspiring work ❤
Hey Lisa, thank you!! There are many hobby bakers in the Academy if you'd like to join this time around :) lots of people who bake just for friends and family and just want to improve their skills and connect with fellow bakers. Either way, so glad you enjoyed the wedding cake challenge!!
@@FinespunCakes I think I remember you mentioning there are hobby bakers in the group, so I apologize if I sound like a broken record. I loved our little cake community! It felt so welcoming and helpful!
@@lisaanderson135 That is totally fine! I agree, it was lovely. It's been great in the academy too, so many encouraging people in there :) anyway, hope you get a chance to practice some piping!! This one is so much fun.
Another remarkable creation.

Yay! Thank you! Hope you join us and also give the Lambeth a try :)
Such elegant and delicate work!! Your work is truly exquisite!! Though The background music is interfering with your vocal instruction due to the drum base.
Parabéns! Muito lindo!
Thank you 🙏🏼
Hi Alexandria... your work is impeccably beautiful. I do learn a lot from you. This is one of my favourite kind of decor...piping. Classic.
Alexandria request you to please show more sugar flowers n leaves.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
God bless 🙏♥️
Thank you! There will be a new flower coming out next week :)
Thank you for the tutorial. This is beautiful! Does it have to be royal icing or can it be done with buttercream or ganache?
You don't need to measure the circumference. Just measure the diametre and multiply it by 3.14
MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE STYLE OF DECORATION. Love how elegant and sophisticated it makes a cake look, and a definitely good way to showcase a cake decorator's dexterity and craftsman ship. But the current trend of vintage piping that just haphazardly label anything vintagey as Lambeth is really getting on my nerves.
Agreed, one of my favourites!! It really is so elegant and classic. Hopefully showing what real Lambeth is will help people understand :)
So beautiful, can we use buttercream for icing instead of royal icing
Thank you!! For most of it, yes, but building buttercream up and making drop strings will be difficult
❤❤❤❤
Can I pipe Royal icing on the buttercream ?
Yes I’ve tried this before and it’s fine :) just be sure your buttercream is chilled
how did she prep the cake?
Can this be done with buttercream 😅
You can try 😬 haha it will be tricky you have to make sure your buttercream is virtually bubble free but I think it can be done 👏🏼
@@FinespunCakes ok thank you😬😱😅
Sugar cakes has all that for free
I'm italian....please....why you call it 'Lambert 'cake?
Joseph Lambeth published a book about this style of cake decorating back in the mid 20th century. This is why this decorating style is named after him I believe
@@lilym6882 thank you very much!💐
Please make thee cake a darker color. , therefore to see all thee great work .,
CAN NOT SEE ONE BIT.,
