In general, I agree with everything you said, with one exception: At 12:06 you say "or it just feeling like torture within the first ten/fifteen minutes, that's the sign of a shoe that is too small." Not with me it wasn't. I'm an 8 1/2. At first I bought a 39 and yes, it felt fine, even a little tight, but within a few weeks it was obvious that it was too big and yes, at that point, it was too late to return or exchange. So I saved up for a year and got myself a 38.5 instead.
And I gotta say that for the first few weeks it was absolute torture. It got so bad I even went back to the 39s, thinking that I might have made a mistake. But the 39s were just so annoying I gave the 38.5s another chance. Gradually, ever so slowly, over the course of a month or so (mind you, at that point I still hadn't worn the 38.5s outside), they finally started to fit right, and I could walk in them for an hour or so without dying.
And here's the frustrating part. Right now, if I stand in the 38.5s, they feel OK BUT I can slide my heel out of them! It's complicated because I can also lift my heels while keeping the shoes on, so either is possible. So I'm not really sure if the 38.5s are just right or if I need to go down yet another half-size.
The bottom line for me is that the 39s were ALSO torture for me at first. So just because a So Kate hurts like the dickens at first doesn't mean it's too small. I've found that out the hard way, and I'm now thinking in a year or so I might even get a 38. It's really very confusing and frustrating, particularly considering the vast sums of money involved ($1600 so far!). If I ever get to the point where I have taken the plunge and bought a 38, and then truly satisfied myself that my right So Kate size is 38 or 38.5, I will almost certainly have the other two pairs completely resoled and then resell them at a loss. This is just costing too much money (it will be up to $2400 at that point)!

There is one other option for pumps that are too big - wear them with stirrup pants/leggings and put the stirrup on the outside of the shoe under the heel arch
I had to consign mine bc I bought them a half a size too big.

I wear a size 6 so I’m going to get 5.5 but in sneakers I wear 7 cause I add socks
I am a true size 37 but when it comes to pumps with high arches, I turn into a 35 1/2. In J'adior slingbacks (the highest version) and CL Pigalles, I am a 35 1/2 and I have never seen anyone go almost 2 sizes down like I do when it comes to heels. Like you, the heel at the back slips too easily and could be dangerous when walking. It's so weird. I wonder if it has something to do with high arches?
How long can you walk in them before your feet give out and do you prefer stockings with them.
I could handle wearing my size 36 ones for about two hours but they were never really broken in. I like tights depending on the outfit I’m wearing that day.

Depending on where you bought them you can return them so long as the soles aren’t scratched and you can exchange them for a smaller size. I can’t give an exact answer on a size recommendation because that can depend on the shape of your feet, but generally if you wear a 36 then a 38 would be much too big.
you said the 36 (2nd pair) is your actual size but bc you can fit your finger in and slip them off, they’re too big. so the proper size (3rd pair) for you is … 35.5? so half size smaller?
Yes, I actually have to go a half size down from my actual size in So Kates.
Do you think the Jimmy Choo bing runs true to size?
For me it did, but my feet are quite narrow. They actually feel a bit loose on me since if I got anything smaller my heel would have hung outside of the shoe.

The shoes look very nice but your little toe on each foot is trying to escape the shoes. I suspect that is a function of the pointed toe box.

Fortunately not, but I’d imagine it would be fairly easy to see if a shoe is too small.
There is not much Information on the chances of having them stretched half a size.
I would love to have some tips on recognizing a too small so kate? Not quite sure if it‘s going to stretch enough or if its slightly too small.. its patent
@@kju-tna9978 Next time I get the chance to try some Loubs on I’ll try to keep this in mind and try on a pair that’s a half size too small. Then I’d be able to give proper feedback regarding shoes that are too small.

No I never have. I’m not opposed to the brands I just happen to enjoy luxury footwear.
