Great video, used it as an install guide instead of those trash instructions. Got these in blue carbon and it matches the blue Accord almost perfectly. We ended up flipping the strut so the color part is on the bottom. They also sell red as well now on Amazon

Looks sick bro. I just replaced the hood struts on my 2005 Accord V6 coupe. Super easy, took 5 mins. Some people complain about hood struts, but they are cheap & easy to install/replace.

Dope install bro 🙌🏾🤍! Aren’t they upside down though? Usually the hydraulic part is closer to the engine and the bar that releasing out connects to the hood.
I had no idea the instructions had it this way. So I just went with it.

I googled it and they say I have it the proper way so that the oils lubricants the shaft when I open and close it

Do you think these hood struts will fit the 2022 Honda Civic Sport? It's just that the underneath of your Accord's hood looks very similar to that of my 2022 Civic's hood, so I'm just wondering what your opinion would be.

Not at all true, I had mine installed with a UR bar with stock struts. Had no issues and was able to apply the req’d 46 ft lbs of torque on the nuts. Now with coilovers with much longer studs makes it even better for sure, but it is for sure doable.
