Ehh it's actually mens brains protecting them from reality. They can't mentally cope with the idea thats its so hard and every single month so they deal with it by Noping out of the concept by dismissing it...
My husband is very understanding about my period and gets me things when I feel terrible. I get some bad cramps and I cant move sometimes, and it makes me very very tired.
Sometimes I practically die, I might spend a day with cramps and puking. Doctors say everything is normal, but it sucks balls. My bf always makes me tea, brings me watlrm bottles and pills, lies down with me and tries to comfort me.
That first one 👌. I was rushed to the hospital by a stranger because of my cramps being so bad I was puking in a parking lot and passed out on the way. The male doctor said "There is no way it could be menstrual because menstrual cramps don't get this bad." The female nurses in the room just stopped and stared. That was a fun road trip.
I puked and passed out every first day of my period my whole teenage hood. And my mom would pick me up from school. And was always dissapointed when I couldn't make it in the house and puked outside. Bc she thought the neighbors would think I was drunk.... I was 15. Fuck I'm gonna make myself cry.
@@squishy8758 sending love to you! 💕 So sorry you had to grow up with pressures and stigmas bring put on your body over things you have no control of (especially when you're already suffering). I, too, had a mom who cared more about what other people thought than being empathetic or compassionate toward her children and I would never wish that on anyone. Hope you're healing and growing and getting better every day. Best wishes 😇
@@floraflitzereth8148i'm sorry i had to laugh when i read your comment because you seem sincere and blissfully ignorant. i'm glad u dont have to experience the horror lol. so many of us try to deal with our health concerns with our doctors and we are just ignored. we are trying but we often are denied legitimacy and help bc ppl don't believe cramps can be this bad (even though soooo manyyy of us come forward about it). i know so many other women who have intense pain like i have felt and we are frustrated bc we try to advocate for ourselves and can't find solutions. it just sucks to be blamed for the pain we experience on top of the pain itself. i used to curl up in the backseat of my car at university (and often miss class) until the midol kicked in. i would just be crying, laying down in the underground parking lot writhing in pain, and leave to go to my next class exhausted, and with no support. this is not our fault, just the hand many of us are dealt.
It's a common misconception that terrible cramps are normal. If you puke and pass out from pain you definitely need to make sure you don't have endometriosis or other conditions. Your doctor should also inform you about that and run further tests.
When my daughter was 2, I started teaching her about "bad guys trying to catch her" (kidnappers.) I told her to scream right in their ears, as loud as she possibly could. Her scream was so high pitched she could probably communicate with dolphins. I pitied any fool who tried to mess with her. She was tiny, but she was FIERCE!
8:00 😅 funny story me and my friends all went to this club one time back when we were 19 and one of my friends had never been before and while we were all dancing some random guy comes up behind. Her and starts grind dancing on her and she is just standing there awkwardly with this deer and head lights look “do I know him….?” 😂 I wound up having to push him off of her and say she as my girlfriend it was insane
I. LOVE. This! What a smart idea! Instead of just screaming out where he’ll cover her mouth, in the ear will disorient the 💩 out of him (especially since she’s young it will be even higher pitched and shrill 😈) for justttt long enough for her to wiggle away! Smart mama!! 🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼
Okay but the first guy was so wholesome and he came to the conclusion that women needed time off for their periods. Which is nice, like... all we need is the empathy, not be told to get over it. That's nice. It's just nice.
My husband was a "It can't hurt that bad" until I dislocated his right shoulder giving birth to our first. Five years later when I gave birth to our second child I dislocated his left shoulder. My gyno very kindly put them back in for him before giving him the scissors to cut the cord. My gyno was an absolute angel, helped me with a miscarriage of twins that needed surgery and my other problems with being female and when I had to move to the other end of the state (Victoria, Australia) I was so upset but by then I was heading into menopause so not so bad. Mark - thank you for being one of the best gynos around! P.S. My husband and I divorced 3 years after the second child!
All I keep thinking is every time hubby would ask me if I took something for the pain...and now he does it to our daughter....and she gives him the same death stare I do. I don't have a period anymore but I remember a couple of times giving him the "no, my lord and savior, I was waiting for your brilliant mind to tell me to take something". I am sarcastic...all the time. And he's put up with it for decades. My daughter is worse than I ever was, so he has had plenty of training.
Honestly I find people that go through this amazing, the fact that you can go through that level of pain and discomfort every single month and most of the time not even bat an eyelid is insane. Yall are awesome.
Ok. That guy who was researching periods though. My teenage daughter was just having a similar conversation with her teenage brother recently. He thought she was being dramatic and she had to sit him down and explain everything. His reaction was very similar. "If that's all true, why do girls have to do anything during this though?? It's so unfair to ask that!" I was very proud of him for listening through it all and empathizing.
Mine makes me pass out and go to sleep whenever I am if I want to or not and turn into a zombie because it's so heavy and doctors just roll their eyes and asked if I am having sex yet and ignore everything else I say. They want to somehow magically link the two even though I don't even hook up with anyone
I actually cried when I heard the guy say he found out about endometriosis. I was so happy to hear someone, especially a man actually learning about it without being prompted to. So proud of humanity today. #endowarrior
and then you have men like me thinking women are made out steel goddess material when they are in the MIDDLE of labor and giving someone a manicure and thus, we do no research and conclude that ya'll are untouchable and capable of everything 😂 (& tho its bad to be ignorant, i did enjoy all me womans study classes. so i will look up endo)
I had it too it’s the worst invisible pain nobody gets it it’s really cool that guy cared enough to learn about women so kind sweet and refreshing love him up ladies ! He’s a good one ! Ya baby! So sweet that guy 😂❤😊
Once my daughters and I couldn't decide what we were going to make for dinner so we sat down to discuss it...over a giant bag of gummy bears. Before I knew it the three of us had devoured the entire bag and never decided what to cook so we essentially had a bag of gummy bears for dinner completely by accident.
Yummy one of those best kind of dinners. Think the best dinner I ever surprised my husband with and he still talks about it today we were dating is it was so horribly hot and we were both very hungry and I said well it's really hot do you really want to heat up the kitchen my husband loves to cook and he said no I really don't and I said you know how about if we have the ice cream first He goes oh yeah let's do that He loves ice cream like I do I had made fresh strawberry mix to go over it and I said okay great I went and got two very large bowls not regular cereal bowls but large bowls and cut the ice cream carton in half put one half in his bowl one half in mind poor strawberries and then whipped cream on top and handed him the bowl He said Wait a minute I thought we were just going to have a couple scoops of ice cream I said is too hot I'm wanting to cool down and the only way you cool down is by eating ice cream He just looked at me like what okay afterwards he says I really didn't think I could eat that whole bowl but I did I said yeah cool huh He says yeah I'm full I don't need dinner let's just go to bed hahaha to this day he says it was the best dinner to eat on such a hot night😅😂❤ PS yeah I was a bit chubby then and I didn't care because life is too short My weight had no reality in what I eat It had to do with I had PCOS and I also found out my weight was caused by an allergy to wheat had nothing to do with ice cream.
I will join the bandwagon of praising the first clip. That is the first time I have actually seen a guy do research on periods, and witness how much it can suck to live with them. As someone who had to explain to a fifty something year old guy how periods even happen, that they can last more than a week and that they can indeed hurt, this is so nice to watch. And I hope our generation can finally destigmatize the matter enough so more people wouldn’t feel uncomfortable researching it, like any other bodily function.
Yhea I never understood why they split the boys and girls up to talk about sex education and they never tell you enough information I mean before I had sex I always thought that the cum stayed inside of you like all off it not just the slim that has the tadpoles inside of it I didn't realise that the rest just comes flying out as you stand up from having sex like they didn't mention this to us because they hated doing sex ed with us as kids and people need to start getting more comfortable with talking to the kids about this stuff because it's a way of life and if their asking questions then their old enough to know
Yo, I have endometriosis and having a dude actually empathize and understand how much it fucking sucks is so awesome and makes me so happy ❤ I had to get a partial hysterectomy at 24 because of it and the amount of male (and female) doctors that either downplayed my pain or said it was all in my head was insane. For about 2 years, due to medication, I was going through period pain AND menopause (my meds sides effects) ON TOP of the agonizing pain. I was on a fucking war path. I want to know this dude!
Girl I feel.u😭😭😭I can't take advil anymore, burned my leg with hot water after it burst open in a plastic bottle and I am at the stage I puke everything I eat😭😭😭
Yes endometriosis and cos here. And a folded ovary. Currently going through premenopause as well. I’m hating life. 2x a month periods are the absolute worst.
I get you. I had stage 4 endometriosis at the age of 16, but the doctors refused to help me. I started my cycle at age 9 and I spent almost every period in the hospital because I would bleed so much that I would need blood transfusions. Still no one helped me. I basically lived at the hospital because of my anemia. Finally at 22 I got a labroscopic surgery to find the endometriosis. The doctor didn’t even remove much of it and nicked my bladder. I actually had internal bleeding and almost died, and he just told me I was overreacting. From there I had a double tubal ligation, another hematoma and ended up bleeding nonstop for weeks. Finally, at the age of 24 I got my partial hysterectomy. I could only get a partial because my body rejects artificial hormones and causes me to throw up blood. To this day doctors won’t really help me. They even found lumps in my top half and they said you don’t have cancer YET 🤷🏻♀️ I just don’t understand how you don’t listen to someone in that much pain…
This one dude I used to hang out with once said that he thought men have it worse because they can be kicked in the balls. He pressed the argument over and over again, and every time, I responded: "Women get periods". Every time I tried to elaborate on that, it was pretty clear he didn't know anything about periods, and more importantly didn't want to learn. It made me want to reacquaint him with that sensation of being kicked in the balls. 😂
diffidently I will suggest that they (period pain and nuts-kicking) are roughly equivalent, and I offer as evidence (at least what evidence can be, since a true comparison is going to take lots of neuroscience advances) the following: Point 1 - all male sexual structures begin as female structures, but alter during gestation, with ovaries becoming testes (simplified, but that's the rough gist), so balls = ovaries (sorta); Point 2 - (this is purely anecdotal evidence, but can probably be corroborated by poll) - My then gf and I were getting busy one time, canine-style; I have a side curve to my implement; I accidentally tagged her on an ovary with a particularly vigorous thrust; Her physical reaction looked *remarkably* like mine from getting nut-whacked. So, yeah.I think we can empathize. And, no, I wouldn't volunteer to get nut-whacked four or five times a month.
@@ncblee Do you get kicked in the balls every day, all day, for a week every month? No? Then its not the same at all. "roughly equivilent" isnt true if your pain is temporary and rare vs all day for a week and every month. Also you probably hit her cervix, since its physically impossible to hit her ovary
@@theemeraldhournope, you're wrong. I got tagged in an ovary during sex once by my husband and was in pain for a week after. I described the pain to my husband and he confirmed that's what getting tagged in the nuts felt like. Now, he may have not hit directly on an ovaries (because yes, that is actually impossible) but it is still the ovary causing that kind of pain. I was so freaked out by what happened that I actually went to the doctor for an ultrasound because I didn't understand how sex could cause that kind of visceral pain. Especially when it never happened before. All they found was some "normal" cysts (the ones the eggs burst out of). It's possible I had a large one and it ruptured during sex. Though nothing conclusive was found by the doctor.
The first guy is boyfriend/ husband goal. Most guys only care about periods when it means they won't get any. Amazing that he researched the subject to be more aware and pro-active to women's needs. He's definitely a keeper. If he's single, I have a cute 24yr old daughter. Hit me up 😘
True. First time my boyfriend asked if I wanted him to pick up some pads for me so I could stay home and relax, I almost fell off my chair. He’s the first guy Ive ever been with to ever be so understanding of the horror we have to go through every month.
I homeschool my son, he has complex Tourette’s that my local schools aren’t equipped to handle, and he’s 14 so maybe next year I’ll have him do a report on it. Yall think 15 is the right time?
Love the period research guy. In New Zealand, you get 6 free accupuncture treatments for tendon injuries and one time I was going to an older Chinese lady for that. I happened to have terrible period pain at the time and I told her. She said she would fix it, so she stuck some needles around my pelvic area, put a heat lamp on. Afterwards, she gave me some herbs to take for a month. I've honestly never had period pain since. It was a miracle!
I used to see an acupuncturist-Chinese herbal medicine woman in Melbourne, Australia, years ago. She resolved my heavy bleeding from PCOS and fibroids. Unfortunately it came back eventually, but if she was in Sydney, I would go there every month.
I love that this guy did his research and has so much empathy. There are MDs that don't even seem to know about the female body or have an ounce of empathy. I get rough periods (like fetal position for 3 days every period rough) and I asked my Gyn if I could get my tubes tied when the pain and other stuff got really bad. I was told I couldn't have the procedure because, even though I was not married or have ever been married, my husband may want kids and it is really up to him. This was in the early 2000s and it was my body!
It is very sad to say that doctors everywhere STILL think this way. In New Zealand it is reported that endometritis can take an average of 6 years+ to diagnose.
I went through something similarly a few years ago despite the fact that I was already 35, decided a long time ago I don't want kids, and my life partner absolutely does not want kids. Still said I might change my mind 😒🤦♀️😭🤣.
I was told this when I 25 and single no marriage gonna happen ever. Was told this again when I turned 40!!! Ummm nope finally at 42 it's happening bc I got a doctor who actually listens and understands we aren't property.
8:15 a guy grabbed my butt at Maryland death fest (4 day longdeath metal festival) once. Once the band stopped playing their song, I yelled as loud as I could, "QUIT GRABBING MY A@@!". I was near enough the stage the singer noticed, pointed him out and the crowd took care of him....
This guy doing research about women’s periods and endometriosis is so amazing!!!! I really want to meet this guy and just give him a hug and tell him thank you!! I had endometriosis prior to my full hysterectomy at 29 years old. The pain and the craziness I was going through was intense and not even my husband could empathize. He realized how bad it can get when i hemorrhaged after the birth of our last child because of endometriosis and was in the hospital for months off and on until my hysterectomy 3 months later. I think every man should go through a class that explains all of this. Also, I think women should go through a class that explains what men go through. They go through some craziness that I had no clue about until I got married and heard his side of things.
If every man had to take a class on this, it would change the world and they would be so much more understanding and compassionate. Some men have no understanding on what it feels like.
The guy with the notes and research about periods made me so happy. It felt SO GOOD to be understood about what we go through during our periods. He must be protected at all costs. ❤
I had endometriosis at 27 and had to have a hysterectomy. The pain was so intense that one time it literally dropped me to my knees in the middle of the grocery store, causing me to drop the jar of spaghetti sauce I had in my hand. And yes it broke and made a hell of a mess. The doctor had me on prescription pain meds and having the surgery made so I did not have to be on the meds forever. Thankfully I had my son at 23 because the doctor told me that it would be a miracle if I could get pregnant again. This guy is to cute and should teacha class to other men on being supportive to their ladies when they are on their period!!
I don’t have endometriosis but I do have pcos. Nowhere near as painful but messy as heck and just plain inconvenient. I recently had to have a cystectomy because my ovaries don’t pass the eggs during my periods and I formed a 9.4 cm cyst on my right ovary. Fun times. My body keeps saying it needs to bleed until my eggs pass so I was having 5 week heavy periods at the time of my surgery. Since then I’ve become regular again. I’m back to having 2 heavy 8 day periods a month. Much more manageable. But I’m used to that. I’m told my best option now is to have the lining of my uterus burned off. 😅 to bleed or not to bleed?
I was told at 19 I couldn't have children due to my endo. The pain was so bad, I could barely walk, drs put me on contraceptive pills which really helped. When i went off them, pain came back, but didn't want to go back on them -as someone who isn't big on medicating, I'd knock myself out for at least 3 days every month on painkillers. Going vegetarian, then vegan really helped ease the pain - animal products, caffeine, alcohol all aggravate the symptoms.. in my 30's, after finding lumps in both breasts (benign thank goodness), I heard about Gerson Therapy, decided to do a whole detox, with intense juicing to get myself healthier, rid my body of the toxin build up over the years.. pain improved, and a year later, there I stood in shock with a positive pregnancy test (then read that Gerson Therapy can be used to cure endo). Became a mom @39, had our 2nd at 41 - then got tubes tied and hubby snipped. Now 47 and in full swing peri-menopause.
Awww that first guy is awesome. My husband has a group of friends who actually went down the period rabbithole and learned so much about the weird pains we go through. It was so wholesome and i wish guys doing stuff like that together was more normal. They like shared notes with each other apparently. They're cool to hang out with.
Can we please nominate that first guy for the Nobel Peace Prize? My faith in the human male population has been somewhat buoyed. We need more men like him!!!❤❤
@@sarahallegra6239 I AGREE 100%!!! The woman to get him will be very lucky, hopefully. I say hopefully bc we don't know anything more about him, he could be a total "Richard", if you know what I mean.
Yes, he does. And whomever will be his girl will be spoiled by him, lol. My 12 year old son hasn't researched this, BUT me being the sole female in the house, he's getting schooled on period empathy. Also, don't ever be embarrassed by buying said period products.
My female doctor told me they wouldn't even know if I had it for sure until they cut me open to have surgery to fix it, which (uncomfort warning) they have to cauterize the outside of your uterus or something the brochure they gave me on it scared me away, I'd rather suffer 😭🥺
@@CookieMonster0w0yeah I had the surgery for endometriosis. It is really sad that you have to go through it in order to get an official diagnosis, but you can’t see endo in scans. It’s honestly not that bad though. They did a laparoscopy for me so I have 2 little scars that are literally less than half an inch in size. It’s nothing compared to the c-section I had 😅
@@CookieMonster0w0I had a hysterectomy in 2019 and I wouldn't change a thing. Best thing I ever did after literal years of suffering and begging Dr's to help me.
@@alexandraashleyyeah c sections actually add to the pain too. I had 2 and after each one my pain and bleeding got much worse. I had to bleed 2 months straight while on meds that were supposed to stop my period and become severely anemic before they would consider giving me a hysterectomy
Oh my God, the woman doing nails in the hospital is my soul sister. I knew I wasn't going to be able to have an epidural for my son's birth because I had developed ITP so my platelets were too low. I asked all of my girlfriends to come to the birthing center after I was given cervidil so they could distract me. We had some music (not loud of course) I'm an MUA & had brought my kit with me along with my flat iron so I was on my feet moving through the contractions as each of my girlfriends took turns in the chair while I curled all of their hair with my flat iron & did their makeup. My nurse Meredith kept popping in with other nurses who weren't with patients yet & being like "this is my patient, I get the patient with the fun room" all of these nurses were so cool & would pop in periodically if Meredith had her hands full, they'd be like I hear this is the room to go to if I want my hair done or I'm not here to check on you my lipstick just needs a little touch up 😂. My sister was a nurse at this birthing center so immediately I was part of the family. I tell you what having all my friends there got me through 6 cm of dilation before they had to give me pitocin, nobody should be handling a hot flat iron or doing other people's makeup once pitocin contractions start. We also got some pretty damned cute pictures, all of us with styled hair & fresh makeup.
I had such debilitating cramps when I was a teenager. I had choir practice one day and remember being in so much pain, I just slowly sank to the floor while trying to sing. Found out recently (I'm 27 now), that if I just told my mom how bad my cramps were, I could have stayed home from school. 🥲 Thankfully birth control has saved me from lying in bed dying (and bleeding).
Mine was so bad as a teenager, and my stepmom had to go to bat with my dad numerous times before he accepted that birth control was probably the only thing that was gonna help me. He was convinced I would start having sex, and I barely dated… let alone was having sex. Eventually I had the worst day, and she ended up giving me half a muscle relaxer bc I was crying and could barely move from the fetal position. Dad approved birth control after that.
Dysmenorrhea unite! My track coach used to say “just run the cramps off” then find me slumped over vomiting on the football field 😂😂 birth control only way to go and my Obgyn prescribes me 800 mg ibuprofen too
I had surgery for Endometriosis and an Ovarian Cyst that was so large it was outside the CT Scan parameter!!! The pain was so bad, I passed out. Eventually I had an Endometrial Ablation to solve the issue.I used to have periods that lasted for several months!!! I was lucky because my male country doctor empathized and did everything he could to keep me out of pain! It's no fun and no joke! 😢
I don’t know who’s mispronunciation of wanton is more hysterical the OP (who is hopelessly in love with a criminal) or Miss Charlotte’s emphatic mispronunciation. Either way, comedy gold! 😂🤣
'Girl dinner' used to be called 'piece mealing' and usually occurred on 'fend for yourself' nights when no one wanted to cook & there were leftovers to get rid of.
At a club with my sister and a friend of ours who spoke Portuguese, some guy came and sat himself down by us. Our friend started speaking Portuguese, and we just said "no engles" a few times, with a Portuguese word thrown in here and there, and all smiled at him with full teeth crazy looking smiles.. he looked terrified and left us alone 😂
My best friend is HoH. We've had people try to come up to us in clubs and I start signing and sign to the person that we're deaf (I'm hearing but I'll appropriate bestie's culture and start signing to keep us safe)
As someone studying forensic investigation in college, watching Charlotte and that guy be confused about the term 'wanton' was both painful and hilarious. Pls never change, Charlotte. 😂❤
Wanton is an old word. In other states you might hear the term reckless. Basically, it's when someone knowingly does something that is stupid and dangerous for themselves or others that anyone with normal levels of common sense would know is a bad idea. It's often a "hold my beer and watch this" sort of situation if that helps.
As someone who has endometriosis it made me feel happy to see a man mention it and seem genuinely concerned ❤having endometriosis has made my life hell
My husband knew everything about my periods. He carried pads, Excedrin, chocolate, extra panties, A towel, and anything he thought I would need in his backpack when we were in collage together, in his backpack AND his car despite the ribbing he would get from other guys. When I was having excessive bleeding and got blood poisoning, he fought my doctors and got me to see a good doc who got me an emergency hysterectomy. He has been the best man from the moment we met. I love him so much😘
@@sarahbrewer53 throw the whole boyfriend away! If he isn't understanding now, imagine how he'd react later... some women have excruciatingly bad pregnancies for example. I was one of them. I was even told by other women that I was exaggerating and that they had been pregnant and it was not that bad but I had hyperemesis gravidarum and even though my baby was fine, I was not. The doc basically said my body was prioritizing my baby. Honestly, I don't know if I would have made it mentally or physically if I had a different partner.
I second @candicemcd -- time to break up with that one. Any man who lets himself be made mad by natural bodily processes is not a safe partner now or in the future. Let him get some therapy and maybe reconsider him when he's seen the error of his ways, because, yes, life and health can get way messier than menstruation! @candicemcd I am so sorry you got the dreaded all-day-and-night sickness, as my two friends with hyperemesis (one of whom had it with all five pregnancies and lived to tell the tale) call it. Dreadful. So much puking. The meds have recently gotten better, but still. Glad you survived.
😂 At first I couldn’t stop laughing at “Wonton Endangerment”, but honestly Charlotte’s “Wan-Ton” endangerment made me laugh so hard my dog ran out of the room! So funny! Also, absolutely agree truffle salt on popcorn is THE best option.
that first kid sharing all the new details he's learned about periods is super cute. Like a little kid telling you all about ducks. and his inability to pronounce basic words is adorable. he did a great job. way to be a champion. he'll make a great girl-dad some day
I used to go to the hospital bcuz my periods were so bad I'd just lay in bed crying for days with pain & cramps. The guy that did his research should absolutely work in the medical field, he has so much compassion. ❤
He has already learnt more than he would be taught at medical school. I've heard that over the thousands of hours they study medicine students average less than 8 hours of study on the female reproductive system.
@@wolfkitteh there is a video on YT about doctors not knowing what the cl*tor*s is looking like (as an organ, not only where the tip is located), and that it is regularly damaged during operations because they just don't know what to watch out for
It took me breaking my arm in three places and saying, "This isn't even as bad as my period" for my previous Family doctor to actually take my period pain seriously. My OBGYN I was referred to was SO pissed at her!
yo, love that first video of the guy discovering periods... Faith in humanity has restored a few points. I have had some awful times with mine, so hearing a man empathize is refreshing cause so many you see online are the exact opposite end of the spectrum. Thank you for that vid, Charlotte!
The first guy is so adorable!! I've been trying to explain the difference between acceptance/being an ally and tolerant to my parents, and this guy shows how to be an ally perfectly. Last night's girl dinner was rice, avocado, and bell pepper all mixed together 😅 and brunch is always the excuse to start day drinking! 🥂
Omg that guy researching periods... i had a friend in college who had lupus, so I looked it up and even used my college medical library. The next time she backed out of a girls night out because of a flare up... I made a "get well" basket with some items to help her and stopped in to bring it to her and have a dinner with her before meeting up with the girls. She gets arthritis-like symptoms in her joints so I cooked for her so she could relax. It made her cry because she told me no one had even bothered to look it up, let alone be so thoughtful. Lol
I had an endometrial ablation done. My husband at the time was asking for the day of, and the next day, off. He and the chief medical officer were explaining what the procedure was to the officer delaying his request, and the man was HORRIFIED! He approved 4 days off 😂
I am so glad I did that procedure. It was hell during and for a week, and 6 weeks of disbalance, but I am so happy that I will never ever have my period again.
@@laramaaike3050 I had two ablations done two years apart and they didn't work. I bleed for 18 months nonstop in-between. I needed an embolization because I had fibroids that kept growing back. Sturdy little suckers.
We have bad cramps but still have to conduct a seminar that’s broadcast to all the offices globally. Explain that to a man. Kudos to the first young man, who actually did solid research and showed empathy. Chef’s kiss. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@jamisketches6302 it is a condition in which the womb linging tissue also exists in the fallopian tubes and the ovaries. It causes terrible pain and for some women the tissue can escape and attach itself to organs in the body resulting in surgeries for the tissue to be removed. As you can imagine there are a series of other side effects and I believe it is 1 in 10 women suffer from it
May I ask what the process is like the actually finding out? I’ve had gynecologists say that it’s a very good possibility of having it, but I’m not sure what all they do to see it.
@LynxfireeGaming the average diagnosis time is 10 years because of symptoms could cover a multitude of illnesses plus people think that as a woman you should be able to handle the pain so you must have a low pain threshold - i hate that. I got lucky in that the first doctor I went to was a woman who flagged it in my first appointment and it took 3 years for an official diagnosis after that. I didn't go to my doctor for help though until after multiple years of suffering in silence and being hospitalised. There are multiple stages which include scans, other types of tests and in my case surgery to find out what was going on. Different women have different serverities of the condition so it is very hard to diagnose and the treatments for it aren't one size fits all. So if the doctor gives you some way of treating it and it doesn't work for you tell them ASAP. For example, my first treatment was going on the pill and I ended up having a reaction to it and collapsing. So be open and honest about how you are feeling and what works and doesn't work for you. Even if it means you are going to the doctors every week because it isn't working, the only way to get the help is to be seen

While I’ve never passed out from pain, it does render me pretty much useless because it radiates in both my lower back and my lower stomach area all at once. I’ve been prescribed the pill so I don’t have periods as often (which is great) and I take a prescription ibuprofen (which I know is really no different than the over the counter stuff, but I like only taking one pill versus fishing out 3-4 at a time) and it doesn’t do much. But I’ve been told I really don’t need to check until I go to try and have kids (for context I’m 19 and don’t plan on having kids yet) but I want to go and get tested anyways because it’s awful.
girl i had cramps so bad (before i got my iud) that i - cried, obv - passed out at work - bled for 4 weeks once - popped so much advil to try and keep my pain at a manageable level (2 400s in the morning 2 at night... for 3 weeks) that i GAVE MYSELF AN ULCER i ended up 24/7 nauseous and went to the clinic and couldnt even make it inside without hurling by the door and collapsing in pain. huge thanks to the random lady that was walking out of the clinic and saw me violently ill and sobbing and ran inside to get help 😭😭😭 i aint never been seen by a doctor faster in my life
The biggest lie ever told to me as a child was that periods don’t hurt at all. I was 9, so I’m sure the instructor was trying not to scare us girls, but I had my first period not long after and I was screaming in pain and fear. This is why I have trust issues.
I remember one of my early days in middle school I got my period and my cramps were so bad I doubled over and couldn’t move. It felt like I was being stabbed by knives. Not to mention the horrible heavy flow that came out that always went through my underwear so I usually had to wear pads. Thank god for the pill, that was my savior to end the pain, lower my flows and regulate my period.
I started around my 11th birthday. There were times I would blackout if I stood up because of the pain. I'm in my forties now, and they still suck, but at least they're not blackout suck anymore.
No wait I think I died laughing as you said “us girls are happy eating tuna out of a can” AS I EAT my tuna mix out of Tupperware watching your vid!!!🤣❤ spot on when we’re at home by ourselves chilling 🙌🏽
Being the only boy growing up with 5 sisters i was amazed how in tune their bodies were. It was after one sister after another and the running joke in my household was who's on and at what time! So I was introduced to women's Cycles early in life as I would discover all my sister needed different supplies? because for some ungodly reason I had to shop for them.
I am so glad that I don’t get periods anymore due to having a hysterectomy back in 2016… But it still doesn’t make me forget the times as a teenager that I had the most horrible cramps where I literally wanted to crawl in a ball and die or just crawl in a hole and die. I don’t envy anyone dealing with period pain anymore. May God be with you.
Bless him. Periods, amongst many reasons, are why our pain tolerance is higher. It’s not just a little blood accompanied by a cramp or two. It’s a lot. Which is also why we are so protective of what we go through and what constitutes a period. Not here to fight, just stating facts. Also, I think it’s “want-in” endangerment. I think that’s how it’s pronounced hahaha
Exactly this. A period is one thing and one thing alone, tied to a bunch of other things. The period pain simulator videos crack me up but they don’t add in digestion, bloating, mood swings, sleep interruption, along with the host of other things because of the tremendous hormone swing and how hormone cascades work. Given how most men behave when they are under the weather, versus women, mostly because we can’t not do life for a week at a time, I don’t think they could handle it if it was just sprung on them. Don’t even get me started on perimenopause. All the fun of a period turned up to 11 with bodily functions in absolute chaos.
@@TheBaumcm the thought of perimenopause scares me. Sending love to you! And I agree. Not to mention, the day before my period, I get super anxious and down. It’s a weird kind of down, too. Something you can’t put your finger on unless you know it personally. You can’t duplicate a woman’s period.
Way back in olden times I would have such pain and discomfort during “my time of the month”. It wasn’t until Anaprox was prescribed that I finally felt complete relief. This kid studying up on what girls go through is so sweet and funny I just adore him for caring ~
Charlotte don't ever change. You are so special, no one is like you. This Channel is amazing because your personality is just adorable. I Love to listen your accents, jokes and opinions. You are not afraid of being you. Thanks for being so real. You are the best.♥️👑
As a father of 3 daughters I totally empathise with womens period pains and its totally true about them syncing up, 1 hell week a month was a lot to deal with. My ex wife and 2 of my grown up kids also have endometriosis and I know how much pain that causes too. Women should def be allowed some time off during your time of the month when the pain gets too bad and the pharmacists should be looking into better pain relief than advil/paracetamol for it.
Yeah. We can make a heart transplant and reattach the limbs, but god forbid you make a period pains go away, because it's natural and this is how it should be. Not to mention, nobody ever thinks to look into the pain, to make sure it's not something serious. Women suffer for years before diagnosis comes.
@@suonatar1 My ex wifes got so bad she had to have a hysterectomy, if it was men that suffered with it there would be meds for it without a shadow of doubt.
Syncing up is a myth! It's widespread and it SEEMS real because eventually, it happens. BUT, everyone's menstrual cycle is a different amount of days, so people also eventually fall out of sync as well. When my period first started, my mom's started a week before. Eventually it was the same week, and then drifted once more.
In 9th grade my period pain was terrible. I was at a new school. Apparently I passed out because I woke up being carried to the nurses office by the class president, Jason Gurnari. This was in Clarence NY, and yeah, he deserves love too.
Love your reactions. Men wouldn't last a day in our shoes. I got my period when I was NINE! Imagine a 35-year-old man dealing with what I did at NINE! I had three children in my 20s and a hysterectomy at 32 due to severe endometriosis, which was hell - BUT the best surgery in the world! I deserved to never have my period again!!! I did PM you on Facebook with a VERY important question as a fellow redhead. Thank you for making my day every day! I was you 20+ years ago!!!! My redheaded Grandma was a handful. She would love you too!!!
That one video reminded me of the time when my sister told her coworkers on a weekly meeting that our dad's side of the family is in or has been to prison but didn't tell them that they worked there and weren't residents. The funniest part was as the night went on. She would remember more about the conversation. She slowly realized that it wasn't just what she said, but how she said it. Leading by her example, I now tell people that I spent almost 6 years in prison but don't tell them what it was for, or that I worked there.
I thought 14:27 was common knowledge. If a man is telling you to change something significant about yourself (physical or behavioural), there are three possible reasons: 1) He thinks women are build-a-bears, some kind of object that he can customize to fit his own desires, which is not attractive. 2) He has consciously or subconsciously figured out that comparing a woman to other women will make their self-esteem lower, which makes them easier to manipulate. 3) There's another girl he'd rather be sleeping with right now, and to make himself feel better about the fact that he can't have her, he's decided to recreate her in his current partner. In any of the 3 explanations, he's putting his own issues onto her, and that ain't right. Red flags.
My 78 year old grandma just discovered the term ‘girl dinner’ and she said ever since her divorce almost 40 years ago that’s been every dinner. A little dish of mixed nuts, some triscuits and cheese and a glass of Old Thompson.
When I was in labor, anything I could do to keep my mind occupied that didn’t actually involve all of my concentration was absolutely perfect. If that’s what this girl does for a living and that’s probably the best thing she can do right now to distract herself.
What an awesome young man! Kudo's to him for taking it into his own hands to learn about periods! I actually used to wrap myself around the base of the cold toilet bowl, because of my cramps were so bad! I had a fibroid the size of a 5 to 6 month pregnancy, so I had a hysterectomy when I was 35/36(?). I'm now 63 and still get the occasional cramps from endometriosis.
For Charlotte and for anyone who has the same stomach lining issue, omeprazol (prilosec) helps fix it if you take it every day for a while and then as needed. I had the same issue from taking ibuprofen without food for years, and I couldn't eat certain foods because of it. Omeprazol pretty much fixed the problem. It does cause vitamin d deficiency tho so I had to supplement that lol
Definitely need to talk to a doc first though cuz (Prilosec) Omeprazol has a stomach cancer risk associated with it. I was put on it for gastritis and the recall came after I had taken it for like 3 months to fix it. Later found out it may have actually been my birth control causing my stomach acid issues and not my diet(which was healthy). Had I known that I'd have stopped them both.
That's interesting. I used to take a lot of ibuprofen and then switched to Aleve. I stopped due to high blood pressure, but I wonder if that contributed to my stomach problems. I have had a few really bad bouts of gastritis and take Omeprazole and carafate as needed. I didn't know that it could be healed.
@@kimw9558 Now this, I didn't know. I have been prescribed them for YEARS due to bad acid, now I'm wondering if sticking to drinking a litre or 2 of water throughout the night might be a better option. I've sorted my triggers so avoid certain foods, but would be nice if the GP bothered to inform me of the possible side effects. Had one GP prescribe me with anti depressants and pain killers for a few years, only found out from a nurse when I broke my toe that those two particular medicines shouldn't be prescribed together due to the increased chance of internal bleeding! People say the Pandemic broke the NHS here, it's been crumbling for many moons. How can they be so lax?
Now I'm wondering if I should get my stomach looked at, I take a bunch of OTC meds when on my period. (Sometimes it lasts a whole month so I just keep a bottle in my bag permanently. Like a tiny pharmacy in there.
I came across you on fb while recovering in hospital after having our 3rd baby (oldest kiddies are twins) so for the past 2 months I have been binge watching your videos, which has actually help with my PND but not only that during feed time for bub, she settles quicker while I watch you. Not sure if you'll actually read or reply. But I just want to thank you for being so opened about being weird, and of course Queen of petty. You're hilarious which helps me a lot when I'm feeling overwhelmed. Much love! Jessika & Roxanne ❤
@@UnauthorizedComedy maybe but I've seen girls way more prettier than her serve actual jail time. And for less than what she's done. So it's definitely daddies money.
Aww bless that first clip. So nice to see a young man with such empathy! There are a few videos around youtube showing men using a period pain simulator. Well worth checking out, the reactions from the guys are hilarious.
Bindi Irwin, Steve Irwins daughter, did a wonderful piece on her experience with endometriosis, and her recovery from getting surgery to get rid of it. Highly recommend checking it out!
Oh gosh, I went to hospital a few times because of period pain, it was just so so bad. One time I was lying on the bathroom floor and just screaming, two grown ass men (the parademics) tried to get me off the ground, but for some reason I got so much strength, they couldn't lift me. Maybe they thought I was possessed and needed a priest rather than an ambulance 😂
Over a decade ago I had a bad bout of vertigo, was hospitalized and out of it for months. The only thing that slightly helped was Advil, I took so much I actually became not only allergic to it, but all NSAIDS. Combine that with my allergy to basically everything for pain, other than regular Tylenol, my pain tolerance has gotten quite high 😂
Oh that first story with the young man researching was wonderful! I always had terrible periods. One time I had only been at my job for 3 days and was having one of my worst months. I was throwing up, very heavy flow etc. They sent me home. I don't remember getting home or that I called my husband. But he found me on the bathroom floor, phone in hand, passed out! Yeah.....periods are just so fun 😑
I almost poisoned myself with midol because my cramps were *UNBEARABLE* and I could soak an overnight pad within 2 hours because my flow was so aggressive. Having ENDO and even PCOS is WILD!! ❤❤❤
poor baby! I'm literally just scrolling and nobody is talking about their girl dinners lmao bc we're ALL talking about our girl horrors lolol it's actually tragic! Charlotte's always a girl's girl and at least here we can vent 😅
What’s worse is we as girls go through all this and sometimes DONT EVEN EAT DINNER! You’d think we need more food to keep up our strength right? I get ravenous for food because of my period and anemia. But then get sad when there’s no good food to eat. So sugar and sweets it is for dinner!
@@shannonsmith924 the no dinner struggle is real!! Or you're so bloated and fatigued that anything other than an iced beverage is gonna make you too angry to eat, or turn you off to food completely and you end up just not eating at all. The struggle!
I had my manager complaining about how my coworker had called off for her period. He said that we have one every month and we should just suck it up because we should be used to it by now. THE ENTIRE STAFF THAT NIGHT WAS WOMEN. I don’t know if you’ve ever been ganged up on by 4 women telling you that it is by far the most awful thing in the world. That we don’t get used to it because every month we seem to get a new symptom. That they in fact get much worse then when you are just going through puberty. I don’t think he got the picture quite the same way as this man.
Fr. I thought they were bad at 15yo. They HIT DIFFERENT after your 20's like why? I have a job now, i have bills now. Youre telling me i cant even breathe for two days
100% agree, we totally can be both girls, we’re all both of the girls! 😄 What girl doesn‘t love a pretty picture where hair and make up are just right - and what girls doesn‘t love a nice good swim/insert any other beloved physical activity - without having to care about the hair and make up? Anyone who pretends they are either „no fuss and don‘t care how they look“ or „too sophisticated to be messy“ are just trying to make other people feel bad, no? We‘re all gorgeous tomboy princesses! 😄
I was educated early on about gynecological woes. One of my HS best friends (a girl, like all my close friends then) had horrible cramps and would plead for my dad's 800mg ibuprofens that he got after back surgery years before. Like, 2-3 of them...2400mg of that at once. I learned it was a real thing for a lot of women and that some sympathy was the right thing to feel. True empathy isn't exactly possible for cis men; only severe blue balls come close, but that can be relieved very easily...unlike uterine cramps.
That first lad reminds me of something I used to do with my room mate. It didn't take long to memorise her cycle - to the point where I'd have chocolate TO HAND (in my desk drawer) when I knew it was coming. Tell you what, its one of the best decisions I made there. It made everything around the house so much easier not only because she knew I cared... but knowing when and how to talk to her, and if she bit back hard (rarely) I knew why. We lived with her husband and he was utterly clueless as to why I was doing what I was doing. Gentlemen, its not hard. Just a bit of observation, some boundaries, and some empathy. It doesn't take much but it makes whole hell of a lot of difference.
I’ve been sooo lucky to have found my husband! I’ve asked him many times questions to see how he responds. This was before we got married. I would ask him. Do you think I should get a different haircut? What do you think? He would say whatever you like. If you want it short get it short. If you want your hair long keep it long. 😊 best responses!! He has answered similarly to other questions like this. He’s the absolute best! ❤
I just learned I've been eating girl dinners most of my life. If it takes longer than 4 minutes to cook in a microwave, I'm not interested. But if someone else wants to cook... I will happily eat it and be very grateful. About periods: I'm from a female-headed household and I suppose I developed some empathy for all the pain women endure. I'm in awe of their strength.
It's all about perspective! I'll toast some bread(preferably bagels), slice up some cheese to put on it, toss that in the microwave. Lazy grilled cheese. My brother's response to hearing about it? "Sounds like poverty." I choose to look at it as not having to put that butter on the bread to toast it!
my mother got real calls from jail when I went. She didn't accept them all. When I got out and asked her why she didn't accept the calls she just told me "I knew where you were and for how long. You were safe."
I do not approve of pranking our Moms like that, it's cruel! My brother used to call our mom and say he was calling from the local TV station doing "Dialing For Dollars", a contest back in the 60s (mentioned in Janis Joplin's song, "Mercedes Benz". I got so mad at him pranking our sweet Momma like that, but at least he didn't do a fake call from jail, which is worse!
No, please, that first guy is so cute. 😭 I legit appreciate the work he did to understand, like.. aw. It is terrifying to know what we go through and how we are expected to just keep going on. I hope he has an amazing life and finds an amazing partner, what a sweet sweet man.
I'm not a girl, but one of my favorite quick dinners is a large soft wrap spread with peanut butter, a whole banana (peeled, I'm not a caveman) and dark chocolate chips. Wrapped like a burrito.
I make peanut butter burritos too, but with chopped dried apricot instead of banana. Adding dark chocolate chips sounds like a splendid idea! I'm going to try that next time, thanks!
10:52, can confirm it's easy to confuse laughing with crying on the phone sometimes. I prank called a friend once and she told me she was convinced I was crying while I was busting out laughing the whole time.
WHATS YOUR GIRL DINNERRRR?!?
Popcorn and ice cream 😂 mint chocolate chip specifically
Salmon and chips!
White buttered toast! Usually with second helpings, maybe Nutella on one slice 😋
Garlic bread. Just garlic bread 😂
b-b-q beef jerky dumped into a bag of salt and vinegar crinkle chips! my steak and chips girl dinner lol
He really researched periods and was so empathetic,..most men think the pain can't be that bad or think we over exaggerate the actual pain.
It doesn't help so many pick me girls pretend every other girl is a liar because her periods aren't that bad. 🙄
💯 funny enough most men I know behave like they're on their deathbed when they get a bad cold or a headache lol like bish please 🤦♀️
Hope those nurses educated that doctor. Sucks if he keeps that mindset 😬
YAS queen/king!!!! I wish I could give you a high five for teaching your daughter this! Mine will also get thought this!
Awe! Good for her!
I. LOVE.
Why did you get divorced? Did he not like you continuously dislocating his shoulders?@@skwervin1
I agree! Men should have to take a class about women's health and periods
Yeah, but that was the reasoning they used to keep us out of the workforce to begin with.
Ancient Egyptians allowed women days off from their farming and chores during their period.
If men really knew how miserable the period was literally nobody would want that. I had fibroids and ended up anemic. So happy he did his RESEARCH!!
Yeah! And some guys out there thinks were just overreacting. LIKE- OPEN YOUR EYES AND SEE HOW IT IS.
Exactly im at one medical exam to know if I have endometriosis, periods have been killing me since I reached 30s, it effing hurt's
@@Alucia0then don’t refer to us as cis women.
Awe ya'll are raising some great kids there ❤

your daughter is doing your son a huge service, what great kids! hopefully he takes that understanding empathy + spreads it around to his friends too!
good job mama ❤❤ you raised sweet kids
Mine makes me pass out and go to sleep whenever I am if I want to or not and turn into a zombie because it's so heavy and doctors just roll their eyes and asked if I am having sex yet and ignore everything else I say. They want to somehow magically link the two even though I don't even hook up with anyone
I actually cried when I heard the guy say he found out about endometriosis. I was so happy to hear someone, especially a man actually learning about it without being prompted to. So proud of humanity today. #endowarrior
Came to the comments to say the same thing. Endo sucks so bad and so little is known about it and treatment cuz it's a "women's problem"
and then you have men like me thinking women are made out steel goddess material when they are in the MIDDLE of labor and giving someone a manicure and thus, we do no research and conclude that ya'll are untouchable and capable of everything 😂 (& tho its bad to be ignorant, i did enjoy all me womans study classes. so i will look up endo)

Was there something odd about that?
And you and you daughters will always remember that lil moment…

Haha oh Momma I feel that! I did that with a bag of chips and my little girl too 😂
Yummy one of those best kind of dinners.
He made my whole day 😁😁😁
Yes endometriosis and cos here. And a folded ovary. Currently going through premenopause as well. I’m hating life. 2x a month periods are the absolute worst.
I had the same & had a full hysterectomy at the age of 26.
You should have explain women have balls that kick our own ass once a month!
diffidently I will suggest that they (period pain and nuts-kicking) are roughly equivalent, and I offer as evidence (at least what evidence can be, since a true comparison is going to take lots of neuroscience advances) the following: Point 1 - all male sexual structures begin as female structures, but alter during gestation, with ovaries becoming testes (simplified, but that's the rough gist), so balls = ovaries (sorta); Point 2 - (this is purely anecdotal evidence, but can probably be corroborated by poll) - My then gf and I were getting busy one time, canine-style; I have a side curve to my implement; I accidentally tagged her on an ovary with a particularly vigorous thrust; Her physical reaction looked *remarkably* like mine from getting nut-whacked. So, yeah.I think we can empathize. And, no, I wouldn't volunteer to get nut-whacked four or five times a month.
@@ncbleeuhhhh i think that was her cervix..... not her ovaries...
Hit me up 😘
Kudos to the man that actually researched periods, endometriosis, etc. 🙌 We need more empathic and knowledgeable men in this world. 🥰
Even drew in little blood droplets 🩸 🩸 🩸
He did more than most doctors
Wtf 🤯😱
So technically there’s a period cramp and pain cure?? Why is this the first most of us have heard this? Conspiracy I tell you!!
Another reason in the PRO column to move to New Zealand for me.
I used to see an acupuncturist-Chinese herbal medicine woman in Melbourne, Australia, years ago. She resolved my heavy bleeding from PCOS and fibroids. Unfortunately it came back eventually, but if she was in Sydney, I would go there every month.
Gurllll... say whuuuuuuuut!?!? I'm double surprised! that sounds rad! Both with the accu and the results...dang!🎉
Yikes!!
I went through something similarly a few years ago despite the fact that I was already 35, decided a long time ago I don't want kids, and my life partner absolutely does not want kids. Still said I might change my mind 😒🤦♀️😭🤣.
It sounds like you might have PMDD! I have the same and get monthly injections for a chemical menopause. No more periods, no more pain 😍
same, i'm filling the adoption papers rn
Now 47 and in full swing peri-menopause.
the dude with the period research!!! I can't even!!!! notes and all!! impressed!!
We need more men like him!!!❤❤
I second this! Give him an award!!

I AGREE 100%!!! The woman to get him will be very lucky, hopefully. I say hopefully bc we don't know anything more about him, he could be a total "Richard", if you know what I mean.
I hope he decides to become a doctor studying female gynecology and is probably one of the few sympathetic empathetic male doctors in the world.
Hats off to this awesome guy learning about female issues as someone with endometriosis he gets it better than doctors already ❤️
That sounds like so much fun. So your baby must've just been born in a room full of glam. If I ever give birth I'm doing this

My track coach used to say “just run the cramps off” then find me slumped over vomiting on the football field 😂😂 birth control only way to go and my Obgyn prescribes me 800 mg ibuprofen too
Wish I had that option. my body physically rejects it.
@FukaiKokoro that really sucks! Hopefully you can find a way to make it less painful!

Okay but seriously what is it? Lol. I still don't know.

My husband knew everything about my periods. He carried pads, Excedrin, chocolate, extra panties, A towel, and anything he thought I would need in his backpack when we were in collage together, in his backpack AND his car despite the ribbing he would get from other guys. @@sarahbrewer53 throw the whole boyfriend away! If he isn't understanding now, imagine how he'd react later... some women have excruciatingly bad pregnancies for example. I was one of them.
As someone with endometriosis, the guy who did his research filled my heart with joy!
What is endometriosis, Ive never heard of it?

I don't normally like pranks, but the sheer EFFORT that went into that prank call is worthy of respect

I have to wonder, though, which would be worse: One week of hell with all 3, or 3 weeks of hell one at a time. 😊

The repeated mispronunciations of wanton has me snorting so hard 😂 And that period research boy gets it. Can we clone him or something?
In 9th grade my period pain was terrible. I was at a new school. Apparently I passed out because I woke up being carried to the nurses office by the class president, Jason Gurnari. This was in Clarence NY, and yeah, he deserves love too.
The pronunciation of "wanton" is hilarious! 😂 Love your channel...makes me smile every day! ❤
This! My southern (Louisiana - attorney) heart was so tickled by the pronunciation. I needed that giggle!😂
@@asheswisdomlol. I'm an attorney in Georgia and yeah, same.
I skipped into hospital for my hysterectomy! I’m with you on that one.
If a man is telling you to change something significant about yourself (physical or behavioural), there are three possible reasons:
1) He thinks women are build-a-bears, some kind of object that he can customize to fit his own desires, which is not attractive.
Red flags.
Period dude wins the man of the year (so far) Award!
I wish most men had the desire to understand what we go through regarding our Aunt Flow.
My 78 year old grandma just discovered the term ‘girl dinner’ and she said ever since her divorce almost 40 years ago that’s been every dinner. A little dish of mixed nuts, some triscuits and cheese and a glass of Old Thompson.
My 78 year old mother has eaten girl dinner for decades
tell me why she look like the prior girl who was arrested all the time? xD
Just and fyi stress causes stomach issues as well.@@kimw9558
I came across you on fb while recovering in hospital after having our 3rd baby (oldest kiddies are twins) so for the past 2 months I have been binge watching your videos, which has actually help with my PND but not only that during feed time for bub, she settles quicker while I watch you. Not sure if you'll actually read or reply. But I just want to thank you for being so opened about being weird, and of course Queen of petty. You're hilarious which helps me a lot when I'm feeling overwhelmed.
Much love! Jessika & Roxanne ❤
How do you get arrested 11 times and not be in prison? Daddies money.
Pretty privilege, too
@@UnauthorizedComedy maybe but I've seen girls way more prettier than her serve actual jail time. And for less than what she's done. So it's definitely daddies money.
"Why is she smiling" my girl, she is a conventionally attractive white woman with generational wealth. Why do you think?
I was thinking pretty privilege too, maybe she’s in a small town.
Could be mommies money, not daddies. Some mommies are making bank so don't count them out.
It’s tough to know that smile meant she didn’t care about life anymore. 💕💕💕💕sending her love .. beautiful person inside too it sounds like.
Did she have surgery before or after she gave birth?
@@cecilyerker It was after, in the beginning of this year, or the very end of last year if I remember correctly.
Whoever snatched up the first guy is a lucky lady. If he's single, a very lucky lady would be very happy to have him in her life.
I can only take Tylenol too and it does nothing for me so I just muscle through 😂
@@madisencrapo7543 right?! It’s like, what’s the point, I’ll just suffer 😂
That first dude is awesome! Thank you for informing yourself and having empathy for us ❤
Aaawwww he did research and took notes! Boy!!! So sweet.... The little period dropplettes 😂. He's an angel
I love that he's got notes on it. And his research is spot on.
I feel so lucky. My husband grew up in a house full of women with waaaaaay worse period issues than I... He is SO understanding ❤
7:44 I've rewatched this part like 6 times because it is so CATHARTIC!!! This is healing to watch 🥰🥰🥰
It’s more like severe BRUISED balls than blue balls
Try kidney stones. That's the pain most equivalent for men.
@@Rickettsia505 yeah, i’ve read that that’s as painful as childbirth, or thereabouts
Omg. Baby boy is so sweet. All that research and empathy
3:24 that's not even a mugshot anymore, that's... a smug-shot
I love how we're just glamming up the struggle and calling it Girl Dinner, I love that for us ❤
It's all about perspective! I'll toast some bread(preferably bagels), slice up some cheese to put on it, toss that in the microwave. Lazy grilled cheese. My brother's response to hearing about it? "Sounds like poverty." I choose to look at it as not having to put that butter on the bread to toast it!
@@SarahMilesSmiles lazy grilled cheese is so good. Not as good as regular grilled cheese, but I dont have to wash a pan and that makes up for it
Hahaha that’s really it tho, isn’t it 😂😅
my mother got real calls from jail when I went.
As someone who has had endometriosis since I was 10, thank you so much to the first guy! He is what the world needs more of.
I'm not a girl, but one of my favorite quick dinners is a large soft wrap spread with peanut butter, a whole banana (peeled, I'm not a caveman) and dark chocolate chips. Wrapped like a burrito.
Oh never thought of that. Now I have to try it! Sounds like the perfect 'food' 🎉
*Writes that down but with grapes or raisins instead of banana*
Ha my husband does that too.
I make peanut butter burritos too, but with chopped dried apricot instead of banana. Adding dark chocolate chips sounds like a splendid idea! I'm going to try that next time, thanks!
@LazyIRanch wow! I live in Scandinavia and never heard of a sweet wrap before
This thread blows my mind, I will go shopping tomorrow
10:52, can confirm it's easy to confuse laughing with crying on the phone sometimes. I prank called a friend once and she told me she was convinced I was crying while I was busting out laughing the whole time.
LOVE that he's researching. Endo is terrible and so is PCOS. I want to hug him. He seems like such a sweet person. We need to protect him!
