There's something about XG that really makes this group special. The concepts are always very creative and ambitious, the visuals are always stunning and bold, the choreography is always mesmerizing and fascinating and the songs are always captivating and catchy. But most of all, I think what really set this group apart is the energy and talent of these girls, my God they are F-I-R-E together. You can really tell that they are putting in work and it really shows. It's really cool to see a group where all the integrants seem to be part of something bigger, something that is only possible when they are together. I am looking forward to their next comebacks, XG is becoming one of my favorites for sure.

I disagree. The style is Y2K rnb but the production is radically different to anything from Y2K era. This has an annoying booming bass, it sounds harsh. Y2K songs were gentle compared to this. The vocals are irritating, too squeaky for rnb, and don't suit this kind of music. Plus the song is totally unoriginal, you may as well just listen to music from Y2K.

I noticed one of the things that really helps separate them is the fact they aren't "kpop" IMHO if they were to sign with a Korean label, they wouldn't be able to express themselves the way they have been. It's been a long ass time since liked a group this much. Usually i like one or two members and the rest I barely know the name, but these girls I'm obsessed with all of them. Each has an unique voice and visuals.

They all have innate charisma individually and as a whole group. They have innate talent that was honed to perfection. They have genuine unity and friendship and it shows with how in sync they are. They know and truly study their craft. XG is really showcasing full-blown talent added with utmost determination, passion and enjoyment. This is why it is so easy to love them. Because they value the audiences who will watch them by always giving their utmost best in everything.

charisma CAN be taught, just like anything you can practice till you get it to a tee. This applies to dance, vocals, pretty much anything we do can be taught. But some people are just born more gifted, like some are just born with amazing vocals or have natural rhythm and flow for dancing that no matter how much you practice you will never achieve that level. Charisma is the same, some just naturally have it and don't really have to do much, others will have to work harder.

I disagree. The style is Y2K rnb but the production is radically different to anything from Y2K era. This has an annoying booming bass, it sounds harsh. Y2K songs were gentle compared to this. The vocals are irritating, too squeaky for rnb, and don't suit this kind of music. Plus the song is totally unoriginal, you may as well just listen to music from Y2K.

What I loveabout this group is the refreshing attack on R&B mixed with Hiphop. Clean Lyrics and the pure joy of choreographed dance. And yeah they can rap, sing dance and the fashion themes are insane. Take it from an actual musician- I feel you!

I noticed one of the things that really helps separate them is the fact they aren't "kpop" IMHO if they were to sign with a Korean label, they wouldn't be able to express themselves the way they have been. Creative freedom is what xG is bringing to the overall scene and they are KILLING it. They have a great future ahead of them. This is only the beginning of what these girls can do and I can't wait!!

My daughter has exposed me to more and more k pop and one of the first things I noticed is that xg's choreography way more complex than any other group I've seen.
XG are Japanese that's probably why. They aren't Korean but their group is inspired by kpop groups

It's been a long ass time since liked a group this much. Usually i like one or two members and the rest I barely know the name, but these girls I'm obsessed with all of them. Each has an unique voice and visuals.
Same, even though there are groups I've loved in recent years, there's something different about XG that is making me particularly obsessed about them. Maybe just a special "IT" factor, or they're picking up on the 90s and y2k nostalgia at just the right time, I dunno.

Everyone can learn vocals, dance and facial expressions but charisma is something that can never be taught nor learned. It has to be innate and that is what separate XG from the rest. They all have innate charisma individually and as a whole group. They have innate talent that was honed to perfection. They have genuine unity and friendship and it shows with how in sync they are. They know and truly study their craft. XG is really showcasing full-blown talent added with utmost determination, passion and enjoyment. This is why it is so easy to love them. Because they value the audiences who will watch them by always giving their utmost best in everything.

charisma CAN be taught, just like anything you can practice till you get it to a tee. This applies to dance, vocals, pretty much anything we do can be taught. But some people are just born more gifted, like some are just born with amazing vocals or have natural rhythm and flow for dancing that no matter how much you practice you will never achieve that level. Charisma is the same, some just naturally have it and don't really have to do much, others will have to work harder.

This is the best execution of a retro y2k concept I’ve ever seen. They got it accurate down to the coloring and the sets, it’s very reminiscent of destiny’s child, lil kim music videos and britney spears in the early 00s.

Have you ever heard of Utada Hikaru? She was a top Japanese (and Asian) rnb singer- songwriter back then. Every Japanese including herself expected she would be greatly successful in the US. She tried to break into the US market three times (and more) but failed. Why? Probably because there were too many REALLY soulful rnb singers in the us and the Japanede woman lacked the real soul. I like her mother Fuji Keiko as a great enka singer. Japanese is the best in the world in Enka genre probably because they are born with enka-soul. If anybody thinks these girls are better rnb singers than Utada Hikaru, they are simply crazy. Then, how can these girls who are not better than a singer who failed in the US, be successful in the US rnb market???
