These promoters need to make ramp for these artists to enter the stage better.
I was backstage when they were helping him up. I'm pretty sure it was Mr Morgan who wanted to walk up and not be wheeled up on or off the stage in a wheelchair. Don't worry, we took great care of him, and there was a wheelchair right next to the side of the stage 😊

I'm so blessed to have been there and met Mr Morgan and his sons, and saw him preform! ❤️ I must admit that I cried like a baby the whole time 🙈😅

Just shows how much of a boss Derrick Morgan is always up for a gig absolute Ska legend the one who made Ska popular massive respect bet seeing him live was unreal
The first time I saw him was unreal. I have since seen him several times over the past 20 years. I know, I consider myself lucky too.
It is so sad that the instrumental part of the music was not pass down to the younger generation eg playing of the saxophone knowing that this type of music will return again
Currently we have not much bands which can play this, but The Magic Touch is one of the best. Look fo a better band. You will have not success.

Derrick Morgan voice is a treasure but the rhythm is not the same the band is not getting it.

Idiot promoters must have known the state of Mr Morgan movements that they were not good ,so should had made provision for him to get to the stage. Shame on the Germans.

Find a better band and do not talk against this band. We have luck, that this band can play the songs.
@@reggaestory Why not talk against this band? Does not everybody in a democratic society have a right to express ones opinion? The Magic Touch is a great band that I have seen perform live several times, but even great bands have an off day. I was in the audience there, and personally I don't agree with @donhue, but music is not an objective experience.
edit : Other bands? The Steadytones. The Clerks. Both great bands with experience backing others.
@@skabuoy Natürlich kann man seine Meinung sagen, aber man sollte dann konstruktive Kritik anbringen und keine beleidigenden oder ausfälligen Formulierungen wählen. Und ja die Steadytones sind großartig. Beide Bands haben sich schon die selben Künstler geteilt, ... z.B. Stranger Cole. Ich könnte nicht sagen, welche Band nun besser ist. Ich bin froh, dass es diese Bands gibt.
@@reggaestory Just because I said I was at This is Ska (as I have been most years since 2005), does not mean I am German. And @donhue did not insult. He/she just mentioned ONE song. And I personally agree with him/her that particular song was butchered. Just not by the band.

Auf diesem Niveau und am Thema vorbei, werde ich nicht mehr antworten. Ich habe sachlich geschrieben und dulde keine Ausfälligkeiten auf meinem Kanal. Ich schreibe Dir auch nicht vor in welcher Sprache du schreibst oder behaupte du bist ein Engländer, nur weil du englisch schreibst. Ich versuche jeden Kommentar für mich zu übersetzen und zu verstehen. Manchmal ist es aber einfach zu schwierig in jeder Sprache zu antworten.
