Filebeat, a simple example with nginx logs -

Merci pour cette vidéo , j'ai une question , est ce que en activant un module dans filebeat , par exemple nginx ou HAproxy ..., on doit impérativement renseigner l'emplacement des logs dans filebeat.yml file sachant qu'ils sont déja inclus dans ' modues.d/module_quelconque.yml ' .Merci d'avance

- filebeat can send logs directly to es without any transformations [filebeat -> es]
- filebeat can also send logs to es via logstash [filebeat -> logstash -> es]
- logstash is resource-intensive. filebeat is very lightweight so more suitable to run on a per-server basis
other
- install filebeat on a second (non-es) server
- enable filebeat nginx module
- demonstrate filebeat sending log directly to es (creating a new index, indexing the log message)

nginx.yml has every single line commented out, and I can't see the logs through Kibana. I'm guessing some configuration is needed on the nginx.yml module.
