I understand they're pro levels of gameplay for that game and this is a professional tournament for the game so the stakes are high, but they made that look so Incredibly boring. Camping and hiding and avoiding conflict the entire time even down to the final fight with everyone there they were avoiding conflict and opting in for just waiting out for the others to die.
Its a little bit better now after they added one revive and made the circle smaller from the start. But youll see this tactic used in the last 3~4 minutes of the game, the thing is if you lose your armor you will be hunted down by basically everyone still alive until you are dead. You can try watching NBPL solos which is at the same level as this tournament but with the new ruleset.

Pc probably is slightly quicker but not by much. Keyboard and mouse has a slightly quicker reaction to each button press than controllers so that could be why. Theres also the fact that pc players have had 10 months to play this so they are a lot more experienced and have the muscle memory for these things

Chances are if you don’t cancel in a game that allows it you’re hindering your growth. Anyways, it’s to override priority. You ever get stuck with your character doing something and it takes forever, but you’re stuck doing it? To simplify it that’s what it’s for the same way you can cancel reloads by running. When competitive players get ahold of the cancel mechanic it’s to make things safer, and things like that. In this case it also helps with movement.

I can confirm this is how fast it is on PC. This and the lack of skill is why I end up fighting my own shadow in combat before dieng.

Canceling isn’t as generous though in this game. There’s some moves where you would get stuck in
