I love how after everything Mad has gone through, losing money, losing his friends, and losing all the fame he is still trying his hardest to gain everything back and he is still over talented and gaining more talent still, Madchild truly inspires me to keep rapping and never give up. My brother's been struggling with addiction to Percocet, Vicodin, Oxys, Hydrocodone for 10+ years. He's 33 and I'm 18.
I fucking love Mad's tracks cause it helps me understand my brother's struggles more. He's tried to quit many times but his body goes through severe withdrawal.
It's just nice to see someone who has persevered through that shit, especially because I know that it's not easy and it's been destroying someone that I love and looked up to, and grew up with.

I admire him for many things i've learned along the way. But what stands out the most, and what I'll always remember him by, is the way he keeps his composure & is calm, patient, and leaves an impression that makes him seem just like one of us, which he is, except he's famous, but hasn't let his fame affect his character & demeaner. He's so reserved and humble. And his desire and love for making music, which is therapy for him, is expressed faithfully by making music for his fans. The look on his face always shows his seriousness, his videos reveal his pain, and in his interviews, his will to carry on radiates as though a fire burns deep within. Yes indeed, he is an artist that has earned my respect and I will forever admire. Also, what I love about him most of all is his love for his dog(s). (I always just see the small one but in one interview, he had 2.) He does not hide where his love lies. I pray he feels loved just as much and more. With the love and support his Battleaxe warriors and all fans provide, may he never feel alone until the day he dies...! Thank you Madchild for sharing w/ us the honest thoughts within you head. It reflects your heart & soul. You will always be special and everytime I hear his music, I am very lucky, this I know!
