I'm a modder and was creating cyberfaces since 2K14 PC. The reason behind why our cyberfaces are somewhat better was because we literally take hours to finish one face. We put every effort into it some cyberfaces even took days ever we're talking about quality realistic works. While for 2K, they have to remodel and create textures of players which was so many per team. They need to like make it quicker too since there's a lot. From the tattoos to body shapes to everything. Without their models, we modders won't have models to base with. I can tell their players have gotten lazy from the later 2K releases tho.
