- Today we are checking out one of the best mod creatures available on the Ark Survival Ascended mod Workshop: The Draconis Glaucus! A powerful water dragon that can take down any foe with it's electric attacks, the Draconis Glaucus is heavily inspired by it's real world counterpart. Available for PC, as well as consoles!

The only thing I don’t like about them is that I have to dismount to drag jellyfish to them, dismounting in the water is like my biggest fear in this game 🤣
Well, at least you are close yo the surface. I don't think it's that bad. I find it an interesting taming method.
@@SpartacusSurvives I’m a wimp, and islands ocean is so creepy to me because of the very out of place map border. Not nearly as terrifying as fjordurs ocean though
get basi and you'll be safe literally in the ocean. basi is like the best underwater creature
Lol, I agree but still refuse to turn the water murkiness off, hate it but love the emersion it offers. Googles help a bit, but only when you watch through them, 1st person
This was really helpful in understanding this creature more. Just raised one, but wasn’t sure what to level on it. Probably the standard health and melee, but this was great to see all the attacks it can do.
Stamina might also be worth upgrading, since you are moving a lot, even during fights. But I think melee is primary because the breath does scale with it.
i love the mod creatures! not always the shot till its torq is full type thing
Keep up the good work. Found one last night but hit it by mistake and it agroed on me. After it was no longer angry at me I approached but couldn't see the feeding command. I'm thinking it might be a cool down period after you agro them. I'll try again tonight ☺️

Yes, but probably as part of the VERSUS series, to actually see how good they are. Unfortunately for the glaucus, there was no similar creature on the island.

How long does it take to raise them?
Fair warning their speed and damage is going to be nerfed soon supposedly. I found one alpha glaucus so far, it beat the crap out of me. They swim super fast and can be at pretty much any depth level (they don’t float) I used a basilo and a pack of minimally mutated sharks. Make sure you initiate the attack with a basi or glaucus because the alpha will instantly do its discharge and insta-kill you if you’re dismounted. Four imprinted sharks with 10kish health and an imprinted basi were enough, though a few of the sharks looked pretty miserable after. It dropped a really good saddle BP, I’m not sure what the drop chances are but hopefully it’s a 100% chance to drop a BP haha
It's 100% BP saddle drop, but the quality is random. Didn't realise they could use the discharge attack 😶
@@SpartacusSurvives I got fairly lucky then, my saddle BP is 129%, pretty good. I’ve only seen a couple saddles above 200% in my ascended server (vanilla loot quality settings) so anything over 100 is solid for me

Actually got lucky and got twins, dont know what to do with two of them, I use the most imprinted one, so what do you think i should do with the other?
Honestly, good question. Curently on the island if you are playing single player there is no need for more than one.
@@SpartacusSurvives true, and I found a 185 which was better than the one I originally found, which was lvl 85, so I got that one.
@@SpartacusSurvives actually, never mind, I don't have to worry about that anymore, because I turned my ps5 horizontally because it was vertical before, and now literally all of my saved data got corrupted. All of it. Sooo there goes 117 hours of progress😅 (I'm dying inside)

@@Idontknow-qx4ck I believe It can only be 1 in the entire map. I use "der dino finder" mod and theres always just one. Even after killing all wild creatures
