The man is not like some other cameraman who's doing all the talking all he did was snap photos of an injured baby cub and said there was nothing he could do. He was so feeling good about reporting it. He could have picked up the cub and taken it himself to the vet and then return it back when he is recovered or call the rangers to tell them so they can handle it but he focused primarily on whether the cub would survive injured like that when he was all alone stuck in the mud.

Everything out there heals fast, or it's dead. I watched an alligator video where it had a leg torn off and eaten, then carry on like nothing happened.
I'm so sick of the old 'We mustn't interfere with nature.' excuse because just by being here and encroaching on THEIR environment we already have interfered. Take all 3 to rehab which shouldn't take long then release them back to their area.
Rangers could easily tranquilize the lioness keep her cubs safe till they rangers fix her leg than release them back into the wild. I personally would help pay for it

@@altrnatvthinker I think this injury can be treated, there's nothing stopping them from TRYING, at least for the Cub's sake, there was another lioness with a big gash in her side from a buffalo horn, rangers tranquilized her treated the injury and released her again, so no reason they couldn't do the same for this lioness

The Rangers are not allowed to do anything with injured animals mostly big cats . In the Masai Mara they must call the Kenya Wildlife Service who will send quickly a vet and his team. Knowing some people on the field I can tell you this is the correct procedure.
She’s leaving the cubs, knowing she can no longer take care of them. She’ll have a slow agonizing death. Surely the cubs will become appetizers by other predators like the hyena, leopard, cheetah. It’s what it is in the animal world. Animal videos give us an insight of how our human ancestors was like during the early store Age.

So u left. So u don't really know if the rangers found the location of injured lioness & cubs. So u don't really know if the rangers even showed. All u know; is that u told the rangers that there's an injured lioness with 3 cubs. Did u tell the rangers that the lioness can barely walk, & will not be able to hunt, & provide milk for the 3 cubs. U didn't try to give the mother some meat, so that she can produce milk. U didn't wait to confirm that the rangers showed up. So most likely scenario is that the mother, if she couldn't find her pride, & get help from pride members; she most likely starved, & her cubs starved with her.

How is filming the trio helping them? And ONLY an injured leg? ONLY? If this lioness can't catch any prey because of that leg both her and her cubs will die. Plenty of wild animals have died in the wild with ONLY an injured leg.

This injured lioness and cubs need to meet their fate by the jaws of other predator animals as the lioness would do and the cubs in the future would do to other injured animals if they can't protect themselves. No human should interfere with their outcome. There's so much overwhelming favoritism for lions (and other big cats) in comparison to the hatred for hyenas and wild dogs because humans believe the lion is a symbol of courage, power, honor, etc. Blah, blah, blah, blah! You can continue to chew the make-believe jock strap of the lion, but don't interfere!
Not the case anymore, as too much human activity already cause decline in their population. Between illegal hunters, poachers and humans encroaching on their habitat, they can now be helped especially cubs to perpetuate the species.
Where is the dad?... The mum won't be able to hunt and die of starvation with her kittens,,,, It's up to the dad to step in and hunt for them.... You can't trust rangers to do anything....

This kind of injury also is not life threatening. They recover very quickly after some rest. And lioness and cubs are normally with their pride, with other lionesses. Male lions patrolling their territory as well.
