As fan of both Germany and Messi I have to say that Germany really deserved to win the World Cup. They reached the semis for four consecutive world cups, trashed Portugal 4-0, beat France 1-0 and trashed the host Brazil 7-1. Messi was amazing as always, but I felt Germany's team was much more complete. However, Messi accomplished his dream in 2022 and everything ended well. :)
