In my house we have a tomato plant because I threw seeds to the soil after doing a salad, at least it has given us more than 5 kg in tomatoes 😂😂 6 months after it still grows and has tomatoes 👀
So, I am pretty sure that you need to seperate your lettuce seedlings, or they won’t grow, since you put to many seeds in one space. On the seed package it should they how many plants you should be able to grow^^, on my lettuce types it says anywhere between 250 and 700, the seeds are small but powerful 😅. Also, depending on how you want to harvest, you can plant them close, to just pick some leaves here and there, that way you could have around 6-8 plants in that kind of pot, or if you want a full head of lettuce, just 2. I am no expert, just what I tested this year in my balcony. I also got adventurous and grew sweet corn, very tall, I got 5 corn cobs😅. Today I planted my greens for the winter, lets the how this will turn out. (3 seeds per hole) You should check out a book on container/balcony gardening !
You’re absolutely right! 😅😂 I (Sarah) watched videos online how to plant them, and they said 2-3 seeds per hole. But as we were planting them, Kyuho said ‘they’re so small, put more in’, and here we are 😂 We are definitely newbies at this!
@@2hearts1seoul There are several good videos on the right and wrong way to thin out your plants on UA-cam. Thinning out your plants allow them to grow stronger. Don't worry, you can also add the leaves you thin out to salads.

10:10 In Germany we also have the unofficial rule that some small shops (e.g. hairdressers) are always closed on Mondays (it's an old tradition, back when ppl used to go to church on Sunday and little shopkeepers had to work all weekend, so the Monday became the day of rest)! Didn't know there was a similar thing in SK, but would love to find out the reason!
It's amazing to see how compassionate people are to outdoor strays!! Is this common in Seoul? Either way, it's always nice to see in your videos :) I fed a stray mom and her kittens a couple years ago and got a notice from my apartment to stop. (I continued to .. just off the official property 🙈)
There are people here who feed and care for strays, but unfortunately there are also people who try to chase them off or even leave poison out for them...cats were not really viewed positively in Korea until quite recently, but it’s been changing a lot. Pretty much our entire neighborhood loves and feeds our cats, and are very protective of them ^^

When I was in maybe middle school or high school, people pushed for malls and things to be open on Sunday, but the hours are shorter than other days. Asian pottery and china was the most interesting part of the East Asian art history course I had to take. But the "Mini Kinoko Marble Blue" ones are cute too. On a day to day basis I'm more of a "Suzanne" or "Elise" sort of earring wearer, and the "Toda" earrings are cute as well. There are so many good ones!

Ahhh growing your own veggies is so rewarding - I've grown my own tomatoes before and they tasted amazing, nothing like store bought. Mejoo's cat cafe looks so cool! I love how 'Audrey' the stray is making herself at home more too. Very cute :)

It’s such a cozy little place- they were so meticulous with the decorating 😍 Beemo never digs in the dirt when it comes to our plants but he loves to chew on the leaves, because he assumes everything is cat grass for him, lol 🙄

Many businesses rely on weekend business and Monday is often a slow day for restaurants, shops, etc... That day is a day off or to catch up on paperwork....In Europe many businesses close Monday and Tuesday.

They won’t have cats in there, since cat cafes are often very stressful for cats, having to constantly interact with people all day. There are two regular neighborhood strays that always pop by for a little snack though 😊

Hi kyuho and Sarah, I need some advice for my cat; my cat has been scratching her ear and it's bleeding, so I think she might have earmites in her ear; she won't let me touch her, I tried to approach her with a wet paper towel to clean her ear but she keeps running away; I'm thinking about buying the medicine for her ear but I don't know how I'm going to apply the medicine in her ear because she keeps running away; have you treated cats like my cat? Would it be a good idea to take her to the vet?
It definitely sounds like ear mites, but it’s always good to take your kitty to the vet just to make sure. They can also do a fair bit of cleaning in your kitty’s ears at the vet’s during the checkup as well.

Cats LOVE lettuce and Spinach. Mine particularly likes lettuce... she also likes green tea. Found that out one day when reading and she casually started drinking it -_- it was decaf and I hadn't put honey in that day.

It seems to me that a healthy outdoor cat population could help keep the rat population in check. Are rats not a problem there?

Teddy James I grew up 30 miles south of Miami right on the edge of the Everglades. It was awesome. I guess I should have clarified that I meant their enclosed balcony area was the perfect place for the rainforest. 😂🤣 It’s almost like a greenhouse. I forgot that people can’t read my mind. 🤪

The Café looks really nice 💜 and ahh, you went to Plant 😫 I loved it so much there. It was the only time I could eat dessert in Korea (no dairy 🙃). Everything was delicious, hope I can eat there again one day. Please stay safe!
Honestly, Plant has the absolute BEST cake we’ve ever eaten in Korea, hands down. They’ve honestly perfected the art of cake-I could eat it every day!

They won’t have cats in there, since cat cafes are often very stressful for cats, having to constantly interact with people all day. There are two regular neighborhood strays that always pop by for a little snack though 😊

Hi kyuho and Sarah, I need some advice for my cat; my cat has been scratching her ear and it's bleeding, so I think she might have earmites in her ear; she won't let me touch her, I tried to approach her with a wet paper towel to clean her ear but she keeps running away; I'm thinking about buying the medicine for her ear but I don't know how I'm going to apply the medicine in her ear because she keeps running away; have you treated cats like my cat? Would it be a good idea to take her to the vet?
It definitely sounds like ear mites, but it’s always good to take your kitty to the vet just to make sure. They can also do a fair bit of cleaning in your kitty’s ears at the vet’s during the checkup as well.

Cats LOVE lettuce and Spinach. Mine particularly likes lettuce... she also likes green tea. Found that out one day when reading and she casually started drinking it -_- it was decaf and I hadn't put honey in that day.
