I know two people from Xinjiang, one of them didnt know they were being “genocided” until they got to the west. The other one is back in China suing Adrian Zenz for getting Xinjiang sanctioned and damaging his business.

Their natives genocided, sold, cultural wiped out , still they have the balls to rise up the case with other countries. May God Doesn't forget their sins. Amen

If you read Vijay Prashad's book 'Washington Bullets' and David Tabot's 'The Devils Chessboard' you will have a pretty good understanding of how the world works.

The Devil's Chessboard was about Dulles right? Who turned the CIA into what it is today. AND the government named an airport after him... 😒

@@loln00bsify I believe the airport is named for his brother, John Foster Dulles, the Secretary of State under Eisenhower. Same thing though, he provided the overt “diplomatic” coordination to his younger brother’s covert action.

Hats off to you Vijay for putting your foot so FAR up the (Censored) of the fascists that this was an absolute joy to watch! When the questioner asked about the Uighurs, which, in the Snakes, is the rough equivalent to an Afro-Saxon like Stac3y D4sh asking about "Black-on-Black Crime (which everyone knows through resource deprivation is both state engineered [by supplying guns and drugs] and state sanctioned, but I digress - See "Dark Alliance" and/or "Kill the Messenger" - Gary Webb)," your answer was indeed priceless! You laid out the case and essentially re-stated the aforementioned by saying, "Consider the source, LOL!" These are committed amoral, apex predatory psychopaths who are beyond one being able with whom to reason. Once again, thanks for the copious amounts of intellectual ammunition with which to give people who are interested in resisting domination!

China treats it's minorities very well, I know this to be a fact. I lived in Xinjiang and virtually all of our friends that were in mixed marriages would have to choose the ethnic group for the birth certificate of their children, they would always choose to be Uyghur over Han. In China you would have to be nuts to choose Han for your kids and deny them them the many advantages that the minorities enjoyed. The USA has a long history of promoting hatred and lies to oppress humans. Incredible to hear the nutty Uyghur story being referred to by the host.

State surveillence. Modern capitalist society exceeds in invigillation of its societies to an enourmous levels not herd of in any communist country including Stasi in GDR. Look at Snowden's slideshow on US surveillence over not only its own society but world over. Only in one building in the USA 21 000 people process information from contractors like Snowden located everywhere in tthe world. Could be millions involved who provide USA govt with private information

Vijay, there is an alternative. It's about understanding how governments actually fund their expenditure...and it is not through taxation (in sovereign currency countries). #MMT is a description of how the System actually works now, What needs to change is that the System must be geared towards creating wealth for the 99% instead of the 1%. But the 99% won't or don't want to understand this reality.

No disrespect but whilst it’s Very nice to have an intellectual exercise, it lacks substance. Unless you can build a small socialist community that WORKS in creating a micro experience of social equality and justice, people will ravel in the temporary euphoria of having heard of a Utopian solution but not seen one that actually works and demonstrate the purported outcomes that it champions.

Why Mugabe? No communist holds him in high regard besides being effective at leading a revolution. He was a poor leader following the revolution.
Would you like to talk about China instead? They're a country with communists leading the way and are about to become the world's leading super power. 800 million lifted out of poverty. I mean, compare it to India (as Vijay did in this video) who is on a somewhat similar timeline. I suppose that means it doesnt work?
