Thanks, Diane! Yeah, this was an engrossing experience for sure. It was so much fun to see Christmas celebrated in this fashion. I think you'll enjoy my next episode ;) I just hope that once Christmas is over I'll still be able to create content to keep you interest :) Thanks for commenting and watching! Merry Christmas!
Beauteous , "The outside fire with the Christmas lights seems peaceful"....... I just visited Mystic Seaport a couple of weeks ago "also nice" ...Thank you👍🏻
This was so cool to watch! I usually visit the flagship store about 2x a year, so if I have a chance to go to the original store/that outlet I will definitely check it out! Where I'm from in Long Island, New York we have a similar village called Old Bethpage Village Restoration and they too do the Christmas by Candlelight! It is an awesome experience that takes you back in time, and gives me that warm Christmas feel. I enjoyed this a lot!
Thanks, Anthony! Ah, I've heard of Old Bethpage Village a while back, but had completely forgotten about it. I'll definitely check it out. When it comes to Old Sturbridge Village, I can't speak enough about that "Christmas Feel" that you speak of. I could've just sat in one spot the entire night listening to the wind, carolers, crackling fire and sipping on a cup of coffee. It was truly an experience. Thanks for commenting and watching! Hope you're having a splendid holiday season. Merry Christmas!
I think it's worth mentioning that the stock music in your videos is always great, especially the Christmas jazz music. I enjoy seeing your DIY filmmaking solutions, like rigging your own "dead cat" out of a cut up Walmart pompom hat, and the old picture of you on set at 6:28 is awesome! Old Sturbridge Village is so gorgeous, I just love seeing those draft horses at work with their jingle bells on. And your conversation with the donkey who really wanted you to pet him was too cute! Oh my goodness, Santa's first appearance on film!
this was BEAUTIFUL and MAGICAL! That candle lit Christmas experience was darling and looked so fun! I actually am really excited to show this video to my kids! My oldest is 10 and absolutely loves history so when she came home from school today I told her about this. They have a few more days of school before Christmas break so hopefully we can all sit down and watch this together when they are out. Side note, the situation with your microphone seems to be working out beautifully! very inventive! Thank you like always for the fun experience and for taking us on this journey. Oh and ask Santa if he is missing his brother because I am pretty sure my dad has him, or at least one that looks very similar, maybe his cousin 😉🎅🎅🎅
So cool to hear that your 10 year old is into history. And even cooler that you may watch this little video together as a family. It makes me so happy to hear that you'd do that :) Hope you and the fam have tons of time watching good ol' fashioned holiday entertainment! Yeah, the mic seemed to beat the wind. I still need to find a better audio recording technique, but for a temporary solution, I was very pleased. Thanks for all of the wonderful comments you have left for me this year. They've all meant so much to me. I truly hope you have a wonderful week :) Merry Christmas, Rebekah! Talk soon :)
Loved traveling along with you again, Shane! Cedar Lake looks like a great place to relax, & Christmas by Candlelight was truly neat! I about died when those mountains popped up: am SO jealous!! Watching your vids has helped a little with the urge to travel I always get in the fall/winter. ;-) Hope you picked up one of those Autumn Nights jars: I know I would have had to! And yes, I've seen that "lustre" in some candlewax - but no clue why? Oh, & 2 tree-lightings (almost 3) I've been to this year, because of you.😊 🎊And Lavs - YAY!!🎉Guess Erik & Monica will be heading your way. He said they were going back East. THANKS so much again, my friend! These are all great to.watch more than once! Looking forward to the next installment...😉
Let me tell you.... you're such a breath of fresh air :) I always get so pumped when I read your comments. They're truly a reminder that I'm on the right path to something grand and special. Yep, I spent 4 days in some serious winter wonderland surroundings. Keeping up with the editing is going to be the roughest part :) I'm so glad I could add some holiday cheer to your season. Oh, and one more tree lighting to go ;) Currently with Erik (filming, of course), we pick Monika up at the airport tomorrow. We have a mini adventure planned :). I suppose this goes without saying, but I hope you're having an wonderful holiday countdown. Thanks for all of the support and love this year. My best!!
The Candle Enthusiast Just found this (trying to catch up on YT). And just wanted to say hope you all have a wonderful time! I'm sure *every* day with the two of you is an adventure for Monika... ;-) xo
Thanks, Ellen! There's still tons of footage from this trip that is still being edited. So, keep your eye out for them ;) Thanks for commenting and watching!!
You are now one of my goto UA-camrs. I don't sign in to my Google account often as I have my favourite channels bookmarked but I wanted to leave you a comment for some feedback. I really enjoy your high quality editing and your personality while presenting. I'm in the UK (Scotland) and I thoroughly enjoy your VLOGS and travel vlogs. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your future videos.
So awesome for you to say so, David. I never thought I'd be a "UA-camr", but since I started this new creative endeavor, it has proved itself to be incredibly rewarding. Very big, fun and adventurous plans for the future. Stay tuned ;) Thanks so much for your support and all of your kind words!
Thank you for this amazing video! Just found you yesterday while i was searching for a YC Scent review. So, to make it short, i'll going on traveling around with you ;-) Btw ... please excuse my bad english.
Hi, Margit! Your english is better than mine ;) I'm so happy that you've found my videos. I have only been producing these episodes for several months, but I have big plans for the future of this channel. Glad to have you aboard! Thanks for commenting and watching!
It's a very nice shop (both). Quaint and very "New England" :) ... But you'll probably find the same items in any other local Yankee Candle store front. Not too many accessories in the 2nd shop, but a good selection of candles I don't see too often. Thanks for commenting and watching, Susan!
This was my favorite video so far, I love to see Christmas in different parts of the country.
Thanks, Diane! Yeah, this was an engrossing experience for sure. It was so much fun to see Christmas celebrated in this fashion. I think you'll enjoy my next episode ;) I just hope that once Christmas is over I'll still be able to create content to keep you interest :)

i live wicked close to this store and I still have never been to this store. Does the outlet type store have a lot of candle accessories?
