Then I found this and decided to see what this would sound like, and now this video really helped me understand the book more evern with the background noises it really help a BUNCH!!! i literally cannot read so this helps sm with visualizing especially with the difference in each characters voice (plus the British acent) so ik who’s talking and that they have a British acent. i’m more of a visualizer so this helps me stay focused!! ❤️

Because there was still a faint bit of civilization in Roger - there was still the protection of parents, school, policemen, and the law around Henry into which Roger dared not throw. At least as far as his arm is concerned, though probably not in his brain. Now lets just wait and see if the civilization hangs on. Or will there come a time when Roger throws a stone at someone, but this time without the intent to miss? Will there be a time when Roger is no longer constrained by what is considered proper in a civilized society?
I hate, HATE reading this. Seems like a fine book but for the life of me, I cannot stay awake listening to this. I wake up all hours of the night trying to read the damn 2 chapters every night and finish the questions my teacher gave me.
It's annoying trying to read for a summary when every word is descriptive and I dint get much story because of how in depth the book has to go about the leaves lol
