Excellent video, thanks for sharing those valuable info :)
happy to help!
Hi. I'd like to ask you one thing. The wordpress I was dealing with couldn't run, because of some kind of a bug in the virus code. So, I've tried to remove that virus by hand. Long story short: I've renamed the "www" directory to "old_wordpress" and created a new "www" directory. Which immediately got an infected index.php inside. It would recreate the infected index.php no matter what I would do to clear the op-cache, or how long I would wait with creating the "www" directory. What's the right solution for that type of the situation?
Looks like a malware reinfection. These are really tricky. I would suggest get an expert on Fiverr to validate the server process to identify the cause. If you want a quick solution, check out our product MalCare, it has a one click cleanup for such situations - www.malcare.com
Very good informative video. I am experiencing a malware issue right now, could you please link the step by step video for manual clean up?
Hi Nayim, the video isnt ready yet, but you can find steps in this article: www.malcare.com/blog/wordpress-hacked/
My problem is Sucuri is warning me that my site is infected (link injections), but MalCare is telling me my site is clean (WordFence too). Not sure how to proceed here...
