The Mars-Hydro Grow Tent has been such a game changer in my growing hobby! I can go on vacation and not have to worry about the plants I have in the grow tents, but most importantly, my plants absolutely love the set-up. Especially the variegatas. It definitely encourages more variegation.

Good grief! I don’t know if I like the plants or the food more! I love the combo because when I travel I need to know where to plant shop and where to fuel up! Thanks for this planty adventure!
Mickeys always has the fire! Thank for taking us shopping with you. Also I was dead when you took a bite of your chicken and I hear “Patrick!l💀💀
LMAO!
I really enjoyed this vlog styled video 🥰 what a beautiful gift to get for mom.
Ahhhh that used to be my fave hangout pre COVID love their corned beef
My alocasia cuprea is my favourite out of all the alocasias I own because not only is it beautiful, but it hasn’t caused any issues for me and I keep them out and about. Another favourite and easy plant for me is my alocasia hyterrophyral (something like that it’s a long odd name). 🥰
Turns out.. I can't go to any store with plants and not buy at least one 🙃 pretty sure I'm driving the hubby mildly crazy lol
Hahaha I can totally relate!
Plant shopping and Fried chicken!!! 🍗 🌱 🤤 ❤️
I THINK THIS MIGHT BE THE BEST VIDEO YET!! I love that you always find/look for the cats. And the food court was amazing!! Happy you picked the compacta, I want one so bad, now I know ow where to find a good one. Thanks Patrick
Nursery cats are the best creatures! 😻❤️
@@Patadendron I 100% agree, I was a crazy cat lady before I became a crazy plant lady LOL. I have 7 cats 🐈
@@jamieschriver4813 I love that! You’re so lucky to be surrounded by kitty love 😻🥰
Blue sky is gorgeous!!! 🏙🤗 Have a great dinner with your Mom🤗❤
Love love it I almost want to drive to LA tomorrow but I have stuff to do tomorrow maybe after the holidays thanks Patrick I love your planty adventures you never let me down ❤❤❤
I am in LA with work so often and I NEED to come plant shopping with you!
You won't be able to eat dinner. That fried chicken looks so good. My last meal would be Maine Lobster and King Crab legs. Great video those 2 plant markets had such great plants. I am trying to collect Christmas/holiday cacti but so far not having much luck. I loved the array of colors that you showed in the video. I want them all.
Yummy! Maine lobster and King crab legs is a great choice! 😋😋
This was so enjoyable, thankyou.
Thank YOU! So glad you enjoyed it!
Hi Patrick for the sake of that compacta variegated I should be your mum 🙂 I love the fun you are having at this festive holiday time and taking us along with you
Thank you Marlene! 🥰🙌
Really good video enjoyed seeing all the different places you visited I’m in love with the plant you got your mom I have a small one in a four inch pot never see big ones thanks for taking us along
Thanks for watching Barbara! 💚
I did have fun! I hope your momma liked her gift :)
Still have not made there since COVID
I met you at a nursery recently and you are so kind! I love your videos because you are very wholesome and you have a great love for plants! Have a great day!
Thank you so much!! It was nice meeting you!! 🤩🙌
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing!
I just got a Norfolk pine this winter!
Nice! I love those!
This video is making me want fried chicken 🍗 😂 luv it!
😋😋😋
This was so fun. I loved seeing the yummy food and plants
Glad you enjoyed!
Wow that is really a good deal the dragon scale
I'm so that person that will stop and talk/pet a random cat on the go, so I love that you were looking for the cat in the store 😸💖. I plan on going to the LA Flower Market in January to hopefully find some orchids. I can only find Phals in my area. And as much as I love my phals I want to try something different. Hoping for a paphiopedilum 🤞. But even if they don't have them it would definitely be worth seeing the market.
Good luck! I found mine there so they do have them there, and if you find one vendor to have one it will probably be at another so don’t be afraid to shop around for the best deal there! You’ll have fun plant shopping though, I always do! Oh and I don’t know if you’ve been there but the paid public parking lot across the street from Melano’s back entrance is my new favorite place to park! It’s closer and feels safe! But I will cross my fingers that you get a cool paphiopedilum 🤞🤞
@@Patadendron Thank you for the parking tip, it will be the first time I go so I really appreciate the advice
I love plants too Patrick and I love coming along with! You are a pleasure to behold and I appreciate what you are doing for us! Thank you for not only entertaining us but teaching us too!
Thank you so much! 🥰💚
Ditto. 💚💚💚
Thank you for sharing beautiful Market to Mickey and Beyond beautiful place I have a question to ask you do you know any cheap place that sends succulent I would like to buy some please let me know
I will keep an eye out on a good and cheap succulent place that ships for you! 💚
Idk if you are wearing contacts. The past few drops your eyes look different but if you are they look great btw
Awww, thank you! I forget I have them in but I thought I’d have fun with them when I first ordered them haha thanks for noticing 😅🙌
I love the peace Lilly sensations they’re really hard to find where I live they looked amazing.
They’re gorgeous plants 🥰💚
I'm so jealous of anyone who lives in a warm state like California or Florida. You have the best plant shops and types of plants my cold state will probably never get. Not even the local big box stores have the plants the warm states get. My favorite grocery store floral department does a better job than the big box. Hope you and your mom enjoyed your time together. Btw, great video as always, Patrick. 👍👏🥰❤❤
We did! Thank you for watching! 🥰🫶🏼
Not all of California is warm, lol, just the southern end and maybe the Bay Area, depending on your definition of warm. Right now in my part of rural Northern California it’s 28F and dropping rapidly. The nearest plant store to me, other than Walmart, is about 40 miles away.
@@karenvonbargen4472 I guess I kinda knew northern California was colder than the southern half. I think when I made that statement to Patrick, I was thinking more along the lines of where he lives or shops. The colder state I live in, will have an overnight temperature of about 12-18 degrees Fahrenheit tonight. So yeah, it's cold but not unusual for it to get below zero with 80 degrees below zero wind chill factor.🥶❄☃️🌬💨 Not the best state for shipping in delicate tropical plants.🌹🌴🌿☹😢
@@karenvonbargen4472 stay warm Karen! 🥶💚
I know exactly what you mean in my state its 18 degrees and dropping I went plant shopping yesterday and couldn’t find anything worth buying.
❤️❤️❤️

Sayuri!!! There it is!!! 🙌
Thank you, Tori. I was gifted with this plant but needed to know its name. 🪴
Hi again. I went to the flower markets yesterday, and I thought the place with the cat in this video was across the street from one of them. I have been there before but I could not find it. Do you recall the name of that store? Thanks! FYI Rudy's had 3 Thai Constellations in 6" for $120.
The beautiful Sansevieria is a Sansevieria Sayuri. I have one and I LOVE IT 🪴💚
Hi Patrick. Do you know what day is best to visit the Southern California Flower Market, when they usually restock? Thanks.
I feel like I’ve gone every weekday and they’ve never disappointed me!
@@Patadendron Thanks! There are 4 plants in this video that I hope are still there this week!
I went after Christmas and got the last Hoya carnosa compacta variegata at HM. It was dry so he offered it to me for $15. We went to the Korean place across the street with an overtly friendly cat. I got a large stingray. Rudy’s might be my favorite. I got a zebrina and a ton of succulents there. I park inside the Southern California Flower Market so it’s easy to unload my wagon multiple times. And, in the summer, it’s cool and shaded in the garage. Plus if you stop to eat at Poppy and Rose next door you can get a parking discount with validation.
