You are concerned about the wrong things. The Bible talks about tattoos for the dead; there is a difference. Read with understanding. So what if he got tattoos after being saved?? Are you saying that you have never sinned since you got saved? How many times have we broken God's laws and sinned, and God forgave us?? If Lovy sinned, God will forgive him too.
When he started preaching,he didn't have any tatoos at all. Meaning He wants us to take care of our teachers of the Word. But today people do not so much except some churches where the pastor is paid. But it is Gods will for us to share of our goods with them because they travel so much and teach and help us and can’t hold down a job then. Pray about this before you judge.
