Yes,true,but that is far from a genuine redeeming quality.
You could see that she seemed to be very reluctant when the principal imposed a suspension.
Being honorable is not just about bargaining for YOUR favor,it’s accepting whatever happens to you-whether you like it or not. In this case,she wasn’t even being honorable,she was just being a desperate hypocrite(excluding the extra punishments that may be too much).
Next up,her request of taking off her suspension…suggesting she had remorse for this atrocious act? I don’t think so…you can tell that she only bargained about her suspension,let alone an empty promise.
Finally,this punishment(while harsh and brutal) is not at all played for sympathy as it shows that she’s not above such acts for kicks. If anything of symapthy,that’s for her parents-having to manage her.
