How does my repentance for being in state of sin mean anything if I know I’m sinning and I willingly continue in that state of sin? True repentance is hard because against our best wishes we cling to our sin; but He commands us to “Go and sin no more”.

God continuously says that he looks at the heart of man (1 Sam 16:7 NLT). If you ask for forgiveness and repent in your heart, he will forgive you. When you ask for forgiveness in your new marriage (from past sins) you are no longer in a perpetual state of adultery, he sees you both as new and blesses your union. He is a loving GOD.

It’s a covenant if you married and that spouse is alive and you remarried you are in ongoing adultery! You can separate (no divorce)or reconcile or remain single. You can remarry if widowed only! When that covenant is broken through death you are then free.God is more concerned about our holiness than happiness in this life.

Hey Family, we wanted to provide references for you.🤗
Scriptural Reference for Jesus Forgives All Sin: 1 John 1:8-9 (NIV) "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
Scriptural Reference about Divorce and Remarriage: Luke 16:18-19 and Matthew 5:31-32

Other scriptures about divorce and remarriage are Mark 10:11-12 and Romans 7:2-3. They tell us that to divorce and remarry is adultery. Adultery is a sin that leads to hell if one does not repent and forsake it (1 Corinthians 6:9-10 and Galatians 5:19-21).
Also, when a person repents and asks God for forgiveness , he or she cannot continue in that sin. Repentance is not just asking for forgiveness for sin, it is changing your mind about your sin to the point where your changed mind about your sin causes you to forsake it. Yes, divorce and remarriage are sins that God can and will forgive, but only IF a person acknowledges those sins before God AND forsakes them. Please read Proverbs 28:13.
God is concerned, first, about our obedience to His word and our holiness; not our happiness. When our happiness is derived from disobedience to His word, He is not pleased, but is concerned that the disobedience that makes us happy is leading us to hell. That’s when God is very concerned about our happiness. Remarriage after divorce is adultery and this concerns God very much because the now happy person is on his or her way to hell as long as he or she doesn’t repent and forsake the adulterous marriage.
The only time a married person can remarry is when his or her spouse has died (Romans 7:2-3 and 1 Corinthians 7:39).

The Bible says remarriage is a sin. You have made statements without any biblical references. You can't compare a lie to a sin of remarriage because you lie once and you repent of that lie but you repent of remarriage you are supposed to stop that sin not repeat that sin everyday. 2 Tim 4: 3-4
