@@christophermcclelland1556 it also depends where they’re getting audio. If it straight from the FoH console then there is a lot of factors that would make it not sound balanced being broadcasted. Factors like eq for the PA, mixing outside, wind, humidity, body heat from the crowd, getting the sound to travel through hundreds of feet of air to get to the FoH engineers ears, etc… My mixes straight from my console sound unbalanced but that’s because it was mixed in a live venue rather than on two studio monitors 3 feet from my ears. People hate on sound engineers cause they don’t understand how the job really works.

The snare is too loud here, and the singing kind of disappears. The video of Jinjer at Resurrection Fest was probably one of the best sounding live recordings I've ever heard, and this band is mindblowingly tight! I really want to see them live someday.
It's so wild I got to see this band in Seattle at The Funhouse. It's such a small venue! Only like 25 people showed up. They played great and the sound guy was on point. It was like radio quality sound, so I didn't need to know all the songs to comprehend them. Lucky me. :)
I know they only have a certain amount of time on stage but I always love seeing them perform “Sit, Stay, Roll Over.” Awesome set list though and was so excited to see them perform Mediator! Thank you for posting the set list!

I was very excited for my first time seeing them. The setlist was dogshit. Nothing off cloud factory or King of everything. Perennial was the peak of this performance, and the 2 singles off the new album. Half of it was waiting for their better material, which didn't come.

I thought the same thing. That Snare is sucking the air out of the room! Also, it's unique that there's no small, lead, Rack Tom. Just what appears to be three Floor Toms and a Kit highlighting the clear, cracking Snare and low, focused Kick. This kit is just what the doctor ordered for such a powerful Band.
Jinjer is proof that you don't need masks and these mega pyrotechnics to have an excellent live performance. If your music is of high quality then all you need is yourself looking like yourself and instruments, amplifiers etc.
Man, that's a hell of a overstatement! Check Lauren Hart out, or Vicky Psarakis. Tatiana is good, but she's not the best voice (or most beautiful) in metal scene...

De una, se quedó sin monitor en los in ears. Pobre Tati, en Vortex se notó fuera de tono por que no debe haber escuchado una mierda. Ahora los scream de Vortex estuvieron en tono perfecto, esos los tiene re calados la mina, tremenda bestia. A veces las cosas fallan, hay demasiadas señales dando vuelta en ese escenario, espero que el sonidista no haya sido el culpable

I agree.. for the last two years solid I have been blown away exploring the Jinjer wormhole. I absolutely love the music they create. I felt for Tati here in the track Perennial she genuinely seemed a bit down/upset not sure she was the same there-after. Still a great gig from them but the new song(S) Mediator especially sounded like the band just haven't played it much together, technical problems or not. Heavy sections sound fine but the singing melodic parts really did sound a bit of a mess not just vocals. Yes Jinjer are Human.

You're really rusty when you come back, you need a show or two to get it right again..

As one of the lucky ones in the crowd at this show, I can guarantee the FOH sounded 100 times better than this captation would suggest.
