This version captured the very essence of what a vampire really is: Terrifying, Alien and Absolute Evil. It was this version in the mini-series Salem's Lot that made it a hit and one of the scariest shows on TV.

Well it’s not quite the same, but if you want to get as close to Count Orlok making a tinder profile as possible, then watch BBC’s recent Dracula mini-series. If memory serves me correctly, he uses Tinder in the 3rd episode. Not joking.
He isn't in the sun. The film had to be shot in the daytime because it was difficult to film at night with the cameras of the 20s, so on most copies of Nosferatu (including the original) you'll see scenes tinted blue to show they're at "night". This scene is supposed to be tinted blue but isn't for this version for whatever reason.

Definitely an inspiration for zombie movies.
The really convey the notion that vampires are in reality living corpses. Orlok looks as if his decay was frozen in time.

In vampire Canon they'll be okay to set sail and travel so long as the dirt from their grave is in their shoes.
In the book Dracula can move around during the day if he needs to, but he is powerless and stuck in whatever form he took before sunrise.
