Unless the filmaker cares about using good lenses and dynamic range... but youre right, if the "filmmaker" doesnt care about lenses or image quality, then this is great! Looks like an iphone!
@@John-e4p1x thats some next level salt 🤣🤣 Lens' are fine, always got a good image out of them in the I2. Their biggest issue is they arent stepless. No ones said if its any different this time around and that has me worried.

DJI is killing our wallets and in this case you’d be lucky to know anyone that can afford such a thing. Will you spend your money on a new car or on a drone that will be obsolete 1.5 years from now with the release of the mavic 4, 8k and 40 minute battery life

For a drone it was amazing.
This thing is bonkers. They thought of everything. 3D Waypoint, Timecode, improved color science that Company 3 gave a thumbs up to, signal extension system and they even stuck with TB50 batteries. The Inspire 2 was (and still is) amazing but damn, what a major upgrade.
I am sure they moved to the TB51. But need to double check if we can still use the TB50
on their site "Can I use DJI Inspire 3 with the X9 gimbal camera, TB50 battery, and storage card of DJI Ronin 4D interchangeably?

I have "only" DJI Mini 3 PRO and i love it so much (I'm little filmmaker and stopmotion animator) but THIS beast you have shown now has destroyed the system and the perception of the world of filming. This is a cinema camera that also can fly. The biggest game changer here is the waypoints centimeter precision repeat flights using the RTK station. Meaning this has the ability to be a robotic arm in the sky.
A single operator waypoint the drone and run the gimble is a big deal for the one-man show. In Inspire 2 it could only fly a straight line with gimble control. This with RTK is a big deal.

I love the idea of precise and repeatable waypoints. The demo of flying around the building as it fades from day to night is subtle but superb. What an awesome bit of kit that I will never need. 👍🏻👍🏻

Same here.. I recently sold my i2 and X7 to downsize.. (55lbs in a pelican case on wheels is a bitch at a 2 day music festival..) but i cant help but want to take out my latest Square loan for this beast..

DJI continues to push the envelope!! This is excellent. We have operated the Inspire 2 for around a year now and it has been such a great experience. We can't wait to have a chance to fly this thing!!
This company is incredible. The constantly surprise me. I don’t even use much high end stuff. I have an RS3 pro, their lav mics and I’ve used their drones before. As an independent film maker/content creator I’m still super interested in the Ronin 4D as well. Love seeing true innovation

It’s amazing how far DJI has come. I remember flying the phantom 3 and thinking wow it’s amazing technology for a drone. I don’t see how, DJI is going to make these drones any better. And look at it now it’s leaps and bounds from years ago. The only problem is they are so expensive. I don’t see me getting one any time soon. I have the air 2 it does the job. Maybe once the price goes down, I could invest in a drone that is so amazing.
From the times of configuring and flying NAZA-M to this. DJI's trajectory is insane!
I jumped from making David Windestal tricopters and tuning PIDs manually to a Mavic 3 ENTERPRISE and Matrice 300rtk

I love the mini 3. I hate the no fly zones installation 😠 but the mini series are phenomenal now that flight time is extended. I didn’t get the range like Mini 2 with the new RC though 🤷♂️

Congratulations to DJI, I remember the original Inspire drone and helping a local DP with a shot.
Even though the pricing is much higher, there's not any other camera on the market that can do this.
The closest camera I had in mind was the FX3/Sony FX6, but both of those cameras can't do 8K.
You would need to step up to the RED Raptor vision at $30K.
With this new drone, it almost feels like you won't need to rig a RED to a separate drone anymore. The competition is so intense.
DJI has made a lineup where you can buy a drone at any budget.
0:16 and 0:25 the design is just beautifully futuristic. The lines, the movements, its just beautiful... Also I keep imagining it resized to the size of a car with the camera module replaced by a machinegun for some reason...

Wow, I've never seen such a beautiful camera quality. Watching it on my Samsung TV, the best quality I've seen on my tv. It is better than all 4k and 8k commercials, it is just crystal clear, I'm impressed. 🔥👌🏻

We can't wait to introduce this drone into our company. We are in Nashville, and love creating amazing stories. A much needed upgrade. Love that they are pushing the boundaries of cinematography. I hope that this drone obstacle avoidance is a smooth in this video than when you are in the field. I tried the tracking on the inspire 2, and was not comfortable at all with tracking.
Recently sold our i2 and x7 but cant help but want this.. We're in Nashville occasionally to shoot a wedding or visit friends. Love to meet up and nerd out next time..

DJI is killing the videography scene in pretty much every market. Video, video stabilization, and audio for both the professional and consumer market.
If they make a domestic digital camera with normal price, can kill Sony or other brands easily, I am waiting for it happen.

The most important thing they need to improve for the next inspire is the battery life, let’s see if DJI will do something about the poor battery life that plagued the inspire 2

main issue for me is the stability of the drone durng flight. Mavic 3 in comparison you can do all sorts of very smooth movement in the wind, impossible with inspire 2 if you are flying next to an object, it is not stable enough. Also the reliability: i've had some big scares inside buildings when it disconnected, and one time only it crashed by itself into a wall, i could not control it for many seconds. The mavic 3 is way way more reliable. Then the videofeed is quite poor, even with the cendence and special antenna which i have, it is not as goo as the mavic3. Other than that, battery life is definitely a plus, but not so important for me, and maybe the ability to fold to be more compact and fit inside a small case with 14 batteries, and all the accessories.
