Are you having a stroke?
@@StamfordBridge it was on the TV at the food court
Caelifera Oh, thank God. I thought you might be in distress.
@StamfordBridge pause it at 2:23 you'll see
It doesn't even look that good

Magic Springs had the same issue. Every coaster was closed at some point in time when I was there...
We don’t talk about magic springs
@@beauezzi5461 lol so true. That park is a dump

Nickelodeon Universe in Minnesota was originally called the park at Moa.
It was called Camp Snoopy when it first opened. I'm from MN and my my friend was in charge of camp Snoopy personnel in the mid nineties.
Dude, your B-Roll is insane 😍 Every shot is flawless!

There’s A LOT of potential with this park. Bottom line is that this is a budget amusement park. But it’s probably one of the best budget amusement parks you’re going to find in the US, especially with some of the planned expansion & the fact there’s a lot of land around the park the could be developed. When we were there, it was very clean, didn’t have any issues with rides breaking down, and there were many families that genuinely seemed to be enjoying themselves. The fact of the matter is that, since Six Flags NOLA closed, there are no theme/amusement parks from Houston all the way through the Florida panhandle. This includes Mobile & Pensacola which are the 2 largest population centers between NOLA & Tampa, and this park has the potential to truly fix that.
I appreciate how thorough your park reports are. Your love of it all is evident and joyful. Also helpful for other enthusiasts. Your criticisms are fair and often include positive suggestions on how parks and rides might improve. Good job, Coaster Studios!
I was there on their first day of operation. Not everything was open, but I got to ride most things. They have a pretty great selection of flat rides and I like rollin Thunder pretty good. Hopefully at some point they can add a coaster that really stands out. And the Waterpark should bring a lot of guests as well
I went day 1 as well and have an opening week t-shirt. Definitely room for growth but it’s nice considering there’s nothing else like it in the area. I go a few times a year and it’s nice to see the progress with new stores opening up and the waterpark being built.
I live bout 5 miles away and drive past it every week or so. I remember watching it get built and now watching the waterpark being built is crazy. The little parks growing up. The waterpark is finna be so fun.
This is my home park, it’s two hours away, the next closest park is six flags over Georgia, it’s 5 hours away, we seriously have no parks in the south😭
My home park is Blue Bayou & Dixie Landin’ in Baton Rouge 🤷🏼♂️
RIP Six Flags New Orleans
@@JakeTerch blue bayou and celebration station was church youth group main ‘go to’ destinations back in the 90s. Never been to Dixie Landin, it didn’t exist yet.

What you ppl mean when you say south?
And also wym theirs not really any theme parks in the south
While you’re catching up on reviews, pls do a Behemoth review.
Yes also a Lil Phantom review
Just went for the first time today for my work’s employee appreciation day, I live about an hour and a half away from Foley. We only spent 3 hours at the park itself and hit almost every ride, some rides twice. Rollin’ Thunder was absolutely the best ride there. The Mystic Manor dark ride guns weren’t working very well at all for some reason, but the AC was nice. The other rides felt very much like an upscale state fair or something like that. Overall it’s a good visit for locals and anyone dropping by the area, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone making a special trip to spend the whole day just yet. It’s a young park with a lot of growing room.
This park looks like an example of the perfect way to start an amusement park. Great video Taylor!
I honestly didn’t even know this place existed until I saw your Vlog here and it look like a really cool place to go!
Zamperla rides breaking down is no stranger to me at Waldameer. Especially Chaos
I went for my second time back in September and I must say it’s a great little park! It’s definitely not a full day park, but the food in the complex is good and the rides aren’t half bad either! 7/10
Bruh its like 10 miles from being a florida park
If it was and Florida park I would be a lot bigger I guess
Tropic Falls, the water park is set to open this May. Costing $70 million dollars, it will host a wave pool, surf simulator, lazy river, and 11 slides! Living about 20 minutes from OWA, this makes me very excited, as I hope they start investing in the dry park with B&Ms, and Intamins. I know they can afford it, I just don’t know if they know about the companies or what they build. Zamparela just isn’t a big coaster manufacturer.
I went there a year ago and it was pretty good. You’re right about the technical issues though. When I went, a few of the rides were closed due to technical issues.
I live in north Alabama, but I have never been to OWA.
My mom moved from Ohio to Foley 2 years ago, and I have been twice. Now, growing up my home park was Cedar Point, now as a resident of the DC metro we split between Busch Gardens VA and (unfortunately) SixFlags America. OWA is great for families, I have two girls, 8 and 11. They ride almost everything, and the 11 year old grew from year to year enough to try Rolling Thunder, her first looping coaster.
Both times I have visited, in October and November respectively, it was vacant. We got to know some of the ride ops names... it felt like concierge service.... where at one point in the kids area one operator walked us around to each ride and ran it for us... odd experience.
Only one food outlet is ever open, and there was never a line.
Nothing at the park is standout, but at the same time, everything is acceptable. Compact, tidy, kind staff, relatively inexpensive. A great way to spend 3 to 5 hours if you happen to be in the Foley / Gulf Shores area.
I do prefer the Zamperla spinning mouse to the Reverchon (I didn't spell that right) models that are nearly identical. Smoother.
I am hoping for an expansion one day involving a gravity group woodie, or maybe the new Vekoma STC/Family boomerang combo that is popping up in Europe, but I don't think attendance warrants that yet.
My mother tells me that a Casino is forthcoming, which may drive more regular traffic to the area? Maybe.
I can't believe you made it down to Foley! Amusement park pickings got slim there for a while, huh?
Crossing fingers for a normal 2021! I want to ride Pantheon...
I live in the D.C region and Kings Dominion in Doswell Virginia and Hershey Park are some good options.
Hi love the vids keep it up man
Since covid do they only fill the rides with half the capacity? Not wanting to waite a hour to get on aech ride
Just went today, with the water park and conversion to the title of Tropic Falls I will say it is now at least a full day experience. This video is still a very accurate breakdown of the park area though. It was nice, taken care of, but hot and empty lol. We fortunately saw no technical problems. Had lots of fun on the rides, however most of our time was spent in the waterpark.
My experience was so amazing!
Awesome video! I'm looking to check this place out soon. I hope the rides don't break down
This parks looks so underrated. It’s a shame Alabama doesn’t have that much coasters.
*many not much
@@dougphantom9 ok and? You know what Harry means 🙄
I know I drive 5 hours to go to over Georgia
Definitely in need of some new roller coasters I’ve been
Brennan from GP to Enthusiast just put up a video about Zamperla Disco rides. He mentioned that they are overkill on the safety features and it's really easy to get an error on the ride if you don't do things in exact order or if the ride vehicle isn't parked exactly down to the millimeter in the correct spot. so maybe that's why all the rides went down at some point in the day
Wow great video!
Does anyone know if it has expanded since this video was shot a few years back ?
We went there springbreak with my girl scouts troop and Thunder Mountain is a hell of a lot bigger in person .... I loveddd the haunted mansion event tho I cussed like a sailor 😂❤️
I was suppose to visit this summer but covid cancelled it. The park looks very solid
Went to OWA last week while at Hangout fest in Gulf shores. Was a fun little park, Rolling Thunder had some kick, indoor water park was cool too. Great lottle park, no need to spend more than 6 hours there
Taylor: So today I’m hitting my 700th credit
Me: Starts planning like 20 trips at once
It fits the area. Orange Beach is the mecca for Surburban families with kids from 0 to 11...hence these rides are perfect.
Omg thanks for this I’m going with. My friend in like 1 day or Saturday
You should do a review for Legoland in San Diego. I've only been once around the time it first opened and I'm curious to know how it's changed since then.
Seems like a charming little park! Rolling thunder looks epic. Looks more like a town than a park 😂 just wish they chose a more creative name...
it's creek for big water
It is amazing I tell u
frrr
It's called tropic falls now
You should come back for Tropic Falls Indoor Water Park
Do you think they will get any more major Roller Coasters??
I was thinking about this or Cedar Point .
OH MY GOD I'VE BEEN ON THE ROLLIN THUNDER IT IS AMAZING
So the only thing driving me to Alabama is rampage so how close is that to OWA
4 hours
Rollin Thunder reminds me alot of Gate Keeper for some reason.
I could have sworn this is a reupload
4 months ago Taylor uploaded a review on rollin thunder which is at this park
I went on that today and the rollerthunder was so scary
Pretty much a Luna Park without the buildings and beach
When i went there wasn't some of these rides
Can Alabama Splash and OWA be done comfortably in one day?
Edit: Looks like a four and a half hour drive in between, so one park would have to open early and the other to stay open late for it even to be thinkable.
also waterville and fun city are right down the road from owa
@@seadog1988Too bad Waterville doesn't have Cannonball Run anymore
@@overbanked yep that's unfortunate just wish waterville had taken better care of it. So they could've sold it. Owa and Alabama splash and fun city looked at it and none of them wanted to buy it.
You should do a updated top 20 or 30 coasters
I love the park
i went here lol 😎 cool beans
i find all these "zamperla showcase" parks so weird lol
What’s funny is that I am going their is a water park as well tbh I am excited
I reckon, more zamperla rides. A new extreme zamperla launch coaster?
I'm not sure how else to say it - maybe someone else will understand what I'm getting at - but the entire shopping section outside of the park itself looks like it was designed on Planet Coaster. All of the building exteriors look artificially perfect. It was strange enough that I recorded a walkthrough of it. The burger joint looked like it wasn't even a real restaurant.
Rolling Thunder was fun, but as a coaster enthusiast I can't see myself going back there unless they get another big coaster.... not a Zamperla.
Okay, but can we talk about how good the B-Roll is?!
As someone from the state of Alabama, I can confirm that I’ve been there before
I went to it and I went on every single ride. My favorite ride was the twister in the airplane thing, but the roller coaster wasn't fun it was scary
Fr the coaster was sick
I'm going there tomorrow at 4
The future of amusements parks is finally here focusing on the showcase of zamperla
Which means other companies will follow in pursuit

.huss rides
.b and m
.arm rides
.tivoli rides
.dartron Inc.
. Wisdom industries

I didn't even know that you still did this series
I’m running out of parks to review, that’s for sure! 😂 I would’ve visited a bunch of new ones this past summer, but because of covid, my options were limited.
@@CoasterStudios Understood!
I’m excited to watch this review!
Cool
Best park in the US!
This park is an exact clone of Lunar Park in Coney Island here in NY
Pretty much. I can't wait for the new updates to be finished at Luna Park.
OWA is a fun name. It gives you a kick of happeniess
Can we get a reaction video or just an analysis video for the new Iron Gwazi POV
Every one that works there is seasonal I believe.
My opinion is solid and here it is. So the rides are very solid there could be more but those are ok. I went when they had the indoor waterpark and it was fun. Alot of people though if there was less people for the water area it would be fun. Also there was less people for the rides than the water-park.
Correct me if I’m wrong but Day 10 of asking for an Lil Phantom review
Yeah ur right good job!
Ceep going
I hear this park is a lot better now that they've got the new Tropic Falls indoor waterpark.
My opinion:
It’s a great park. Not really the best for theme park enthusiast like myself. I recently went for the 2nd time a couple of weeks before Halloween. It got busy, as this was a weekend. As you said in your Rollin Thunder review, Zamperla has a long way to go with their coaster designs. The park almost feels like it was made in Planet Coaster or something. It has a clean feel and could go a long way. I wouldn’t be surprised if The Park at OWA decided to utilize the rest of its land to extend the park.
oh, hey Luca..
When I was there it didn't malfunction
The rattle on the loop on rollin thunder hurts a little
Taylor: Admission is 22 dollars, which is actually pretty cheap.
Six Flags Great Adventure: *Laughs in 30.00 day passes*

Ik I just didn’t know what you mean by support

@@MrClean36well now we know which one is last 😅
They need more indoor stuff. Also I didn’t like where the smoking section was.
I have been a lot it’s fun
zamperlas just have technical problems
I live in South Alabama Very fun and cheap
Trust me no park has more technical issues than Cedar Point. Every time I’m there there’s always something broken. And I’m not just talking about dragster
Honestly it’s a alright theme park definitely won’t need the whole day? Unless you acutely take time there and stop by the little stores then somewhat of the whole day
It looks like Butlins with better rides especially with the water park expansion
Zamperala’s are very annoying to work with the only reliable is there Jump Around which actually gives airtime but Zamperala have a lot of Downtime
This park can benefit from a Flying Viking/Draken Falls clone.
5:05 I see what you did there lol
not funny
they really didn't need the covid lock down especially when owa is only 4 years old
I went on July 27th 2023 and everything was great and the water park was one of the best thing I have ever went to and I spent a whole day at the park and the second day I went to the water Park part of owa and I took up the whole day and I loves it and nothing broke so I think ur just hating on the park bc it wasn't for adults and kids need sum like this and parents had fun too I'm a mom and I loved it and my 3 kids loved it too
they forgot the Volare
LOL
please go to energylandia
He was supposed to go this summer before covid killed his international plans
Hopefully I'll be able to go next summer! We'll have to wait and see though. All depends on the situation in the world and what international travel will look like
Can I get an OWA OWA
What did he say it all the rides broke down hell naw 😭
Man that park seemed dead!
Day 9 of asking for silver tickets to come back
I have an idea, stop using Zamperla! They’re not the most reliable manufacturer.
I'm pretty sure Zamperla has partial ownership of the park so they can put in as many of their rides in as they want but correct me if I'm wrong.
BREAKING NEWS: FULL POV VIDEO OF IRON GWAZI HAS JUST BEEN RELEASED!
Day 13 of commenting a comment
You know what I see? Another six flags New Orleans waiting to happen....Like the other half dozen theme parks along the gulf coast that have come and gone in the last 100 years or so...
The ride was creepy asf
