@adamjohanssonn no they weren't. All LCK fans know that T1 wasn't sweating one bit.
There is a very clear indicator when T1 is playing well/bad:
- Level 1 If all players are playing pretty evenly and doing their own thing, and using Keria to play bouncer while they casually eat Baron, and Zeus is hugging enemy tower and doing 1vs1, then the other team just sucks and T1 is playing casually like they are playing against their nephew. They will dive towers, die a few times, do reckless plays because they know they still won't lose. They do this against weak teams all the time.
- Level 2: If Keria starts carrying and roaming, then the other team is playing a little better but still badly
- Level 3: If Zeus starts getting serious and starts carrying, then the other team is playing okay and T1 is playing as expected
- Level 4: If Oner or Faker is carrying, then the opponent is playing really well and T1 is starting to sweat a little bit, but everything is still under control
- Level 5 If Gumayusi stands out, then T1 is in big trouble and they are giving it all they got. Gumayusi himself confirmed this and he called himself the "egg on instant noodles" - meaning he's just an extra hand and that the rest of the team usually just deals with the other team, so if Gumayusi has to step in, that means the team is in trouble.
- Level 6 If Faker unlocks secret mode: T1 is losing and only a Faker's Azir super toss will save the day
This is official and well-known in the LCK community. We don't ever worry about T1 unless Gumayusi starts carrying the team.
What we witnessed yesterday vs EST: 1st level
T1 was not even playing seriously
+ Bonus: watch Wolf's (former T1 support/Faker's former teammate) stream and if he seems relaxed, T1 is playing like they are taking a stroll through a park.
If he starts screaming "FAKKEEEEERRRR DO SOMETHINGGGGG" then it's bad.
He was very relaxed yesterday.

Theres no such thing as a different level of seriousness no matter how weak your opponent is. Theres a distinct difference between scrim and onstage game. Game 1 T1's draft was all comfort picks. Faker'ori, oner's lee sin, keria rummble. Their draft indicate they took the b/p serious and it was not a scrim.You don't limit testing on comfort picks, so there's no point in doing that in this series. Do professional players make random individual decisions? Yes, they do.
For instance, Zeus tower diving or Faker chasing can appear like trolling plays, but those are individual decisions made during the game's progression because they believe they are fully in control. This doesn't mean they entered the game with the intention of trolling. The conclusion is that they were serious about the game, but once they realized they were in full control, they started making individual decisions, which only occurs in solo queue. This is mostly like what actually happened in these major vs minor region match up.

Like 20 kills before 20 minutes, or 2 tower after 20 minutes, or game end after 40 minutes,... and so on. That was a funny game, but that was an obvious show of how advance major regions against wildcards. It was an expected result.
You're right but GAM had a lot of disadvantages that made them look even worst. Ex. Win trade teammate, playing with subs, general manager isn't with them...

@pronini-kun4571 yea, I think 2 (or 3) people of GAM spring roaster was win trading and they got banned. So GAM had to go to MSI with like 2 or 3 subs with very little practice. Don't think they would win anyways but at least woulda been a better fight

I grew to really like your channel and videos and the best thing are thos lightning quick highlights. the thing with gam is that their region got massive problem and they lost their midlaner, so they had to find another one; at this time emo was in another team which got destroyed iirc, GAM choose him cause they did not had the choice.
