ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

@@jeanguimaraes5527 yeah, Knull is a great figure, but the wings that are ment for Venom should have been for Knull. The wings don't really match the Venom figure, and i wish that Knull had ports in his back for the wings. Other then that i'll give Venom a 8.9/10 and Knull a 9.5/10

They probably didn't give null wings so they can make a new version with the wings in like a year because there's no way they made a body that nice just for one use
*You’re totally right Shart, on the King in Black omnibus hardcover, Knull has these exact wings. And Venom’s wings are usually depicted as folding wings with a sharp point at the top. Hasbro botched the wings, and yes it looks like you did more research than their entire team.*
would have been perfect if Knull also had the holes for the wings since he wore the wings a lot more than Venom ever did. In fact it is a HUGE part of his look. I need to figure out how to dremel the holes in his back without ruining him.
Do some trail & error on something else similar texture to plastic, when you feel confident enough try it on the figure itself, thats what im going to do
The Wings are really dumb on Venom so Id never put them on him so its a huge bummer to hear they cant be used on Knull

You should definitely read Silver Surfer Black as well, it's the main reason some people such as myself got Knull

sadly with Hasbro, I think all this means is that Knull will soon show up in the MCU and we will get a reissue with wing port.
And he'll come with Venom accurate wings so we'll have to get both sets and swap!

I don’t think so, right now marvel doesn’t have enough powerfull heroes, knull kill a celestial, kill sentry (even if it was for the void), put the heroes in check, need silver surfer table and a lot of more stuff that we could see but in years

I am the BIGGEST Venomaniac in the world, and this being the first rendition of Knull in plastic along with a Winged Venom, I couldn't be HAPPIER!!!
I agree with you that I wish the Wings would port into Knull as well, or even included a second set of wings for both figures, but what can I do? I do love that you got your Knull customized to port in the wings they look amazing!
And wow, the wings were EXTREMELY hard to get to stick into my Venom figure. But your suggestion to heat it up, I used a hair dryer, worked really well and the wings now stay in with no problem at all, but if I get even a little rough, the right shoulder wing pops out too easily, I think a second heat treat would fix that problem, but it's already on my shelf. Maybe if I rearrange the shelves in the future I'll work on the wing with more heat, but for now it's staying as is!

Unpopular opinion but I just can't stand looking at the symbiote hands with the black dots on them idk why but the full white is just so much more appealing to me

I can't wait to get this 2 pack. I've wanted a modern venom 4 some time now that wasn't using the Hyperion body mold and have fell in love with knull. I was lucky enough 2 meet Ryan stegman the artist and creator of knull and has just kept building on how awesome knull is plus Ryan was a super cool guy
I love This set so much. At frost I thought $77.99 was a bit much. But after having the figures in hand I think I can justify that price point since they’re both really tall figures, have excellent body molds, and Knull had a fantastic new sculpt that’s just beautiful, and those giant wings that span out at a Foot? I think it’s safe to give them that price for being big figs and having a gigantic accessory like the wings
You're right about Knulls symbol, it doesn't make sense, Peter was subconsciously influenced by Julia Carpenter's Spider-Woman costume when the symbiote basically copied her costume save for the thigh high white parts and open mouth/hair parts of the mask, I can't see the connection between the 2 things at all, it's like someone didn't know where Peter took his inspiration from.
It’s apparently explained by saying the logo is actually a shmbiote dragon from the KIB storyline. Don’t quote me though since I got this from some random person in a comment section
@@Synthesyn342 That doesn't explain why Julia Carpenter has the logo before the symbiote even appeared though, that's the problem, you're right that that's the retconned explanation, it just doesn't make sense lol.
@@symbiote1982pk sorry if I’m wrong but Julia Carpenter had the spider logo correct? They do look different (spiderman and venoms logos) apart from the obvious differences. But I’m not sure it was a retcon after all
@@Synthesyn342 They're big white spider logos in the centre of their chests lol, also Pete pretty much speculates as much when it happens, so yeah, it's a retcon.
My gripe with the Venom figure is that the spider-emblem is too big, and disappears into the ab crunch at the waist, cutting off the bottom of it (front and back, too boot). Compare it to the Poundz custom, which got it right. Why was that so hard, Hasbro? For those inflated prices, that is a detail for which there is no excuse not to get right. It's just sloppy. I'll be using that Poundz custom as reference to correctly paint my Hasbro one.
random question: there's no way to have the full King in Black story (with tie ins) in the Marvel Unlimited app in one easy go, right? you need to manually go from series to series, when jumping for tie ins
How can I Change the feets from Venom can I use a pair from a old Marvel Legends Venom?
Crazy that I bought the movie Venom for $20, which is the same mold...I can't see the paint apps, the wings and Knull a reason to throw an extra $60 for this $80 set. I know people have already proved they are willing to pay anything for figures, but I am not one of them, I buy atvretail only and to me this is a hobby, not a priority, these price bumps from Hasbro are slowly making me step away from the game. As much as I wanted to complete the Reavers, Syrin was the only figure I wanted, at $25 a figure before tax, I passed to the whole wave too. Only wanted Syrin and Bonebreaker, if that wave had Wolfsbane and Ferral, I would've considered it but damn... Days of collecting to me are numbered.

Dots in the white squares are not always present in every interpretation of comic Venom. Mark Bagley often draws dots on the white squares but many Venom artists draw only white squares.

The wings are cool but honestly I don’t super care about them, they’re going into my accessory bag, I just really want a movie venom body with comic venom paint
I'm not a huge Venom/symbiote fan, but at the same time, as a collector I want the comic version of the character and there are about three versions that I need, the wings wasn't necessary but they are freaking cool.. So I'm happy with this addition, it's getting my money where as other venom figures didn't.

@@travismcanulty9516 That Venom does look great, but I have zero desire for derivative, of a derivative, of a derivative characters like the other two symbiotes that is part of that set. It's bad enough to have Carnage as a character, I just can't get into the rest of them at all.
For the price it would have been nice to get some tendrils to port into the holes on the back if you decide to not display Venom with the wings or use them for a custom. I don’t really have the room. I canceled my pre-order for this when the Venom 3-pack was announced. Still might pick it up though.

I know Venom has the Erik Larson design head sculpts and has toes instead of flat shoes But c'mon, He could still work as a Todd McFarlane Venom along with using the retro Black Spider-Man while posing Venom and Renew Your Vows Spider-Man in Todd McFarlane style poses from issue #300 of The Amazing Spider-Man.

Man I really wish hasbro did the anniversary line for both the first spider-man and amazing spider-man films, I would get all of the figures if they’ve done those films for both trilogies. The main reason they didn’t do that because Sony still owns spider-man which explains why in 2020 they did the anniversary line for the fox x-men films.
I'm sure Hasbro will re-release another version of Knull as a Felix Deluxe figure with wings and some changes. I would have preferred it to have been included in this pack instead.
I just recently got the Lizard and it's got me eyeing this set, but I'm very split on it. I really like the look of Venom (the closed mouth head and feet aren't quite to my liking but I can overlook that) but the Deluxe Monster Venom I'm pretty happy with, even though it's not quite my mind's eye of the character and its a more restricted figure than this new one. That said I like the look of this Venom more than the upcoming Amazon set version.
Knull I have no connection to and in general don't have any interest in the idea of his character. It looks like a cool figure but I don't really have a place for it in my collection, literally in terms of space, so like a lot of people I imagine that if I were to get this set I'd sell the Knull.

I'd like to know how the wings factor into the price. Because honestly I could do with the things. Figure with these huge wings and no flight stand raise and eyebrow. At least these can fold in (Cough NECA Gargoyles). It just feels like "You can get this Movie Venom with the real design but......". I'd rather have the Brock head from the Amazon three pack.
Then the next bit is. They sold Venom solo before at $20. Is Knull a $60 figure? Is he a $50 or $40 figure?
I don't feel he is given the lack of paint apps an accessories.
Same with Venom. $30 at best if we must include the wings. Based on the images I'm seeing, seems like Venom should have some swords/axes of his own.
I like them. I think they definitely are top 15 for 2022. But that's price point is maybe $20 to $30 too high for what we actually get.
Right now that just seems to be the way to describe Hasbro. The price is too high for what we are getting. Either the price needs to come down or we need to get more(be it paint, plastic quality, or accessories).
You can get goliath and bronx (with the folded down wings) for less than this two pack, which is kind of crazy considering how much better Neca figures look.
