    Great talk. I think plant based variety in diet, high fibre as well as fibre diversity is key. Instead of off the shelf probiotics people should get probiotics from whole foods. Much more natural for the gut!

    Good video, some info was off, like taking probiotics and causing less diversity, there was no baseline for this so the comment must be validated. As for research into diet, it has already been done. The low fat whole food plant based diet support the he greatest diversity. However, it you wiped out strains of bacteria, they will not come back without an FMT or probiotic. The research also shows that the bacteria functions in a community, so taking a single strain bacteria may not work as you need to restore the community. I was surprised being an oncology discussion there was no mention that some microbes as fight cancer while other can support or even cause cancer..
