  • Some simple advice on how to manage your time better. There is no absolute correct way to manage time, and you can argue that time is something that you can't actually manage.
However these concepts will help you get a LOT more done with the time that you have.

I had no idea that the quote "Jack of all trades..master of none" was not the complete quote. " Jack of all trades, master of none. But often times is better than one. Game changer. Thanks

No problem! 👌, it was the same for me when I found it out years ago.
But it makes sense in practice now.

Thank you! and yeah I'll let the numbers take care of themselves. That was my promise from my first video, just put it out and move on.
As long as people can get real results and better mental health that's all that counts.

I’ve listened to almost half your videos today while cleaning my house and am so thankful for each one. I’ve read many books and watched many videos that have taught what you are instructing, but you are actually walking the walk in a way that motivates me to finally put those lessons into practice as well as shows me how in a feasible way that doesn’t require unrealistic sacrifices. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for that whole quote on Jack. I’ve been called that several times and it has really made a dent in my self-esteem. It made me feel like I’m not good at anything, but now that I know the entire quote, it changes a lot for me. It means, I’m good at so many things. It’s funny how little things like that can be a lifechanger. Next time somebody calls me a Jack of all trades, I’m gonna let them know the entire thing.😊

Great video, great channel. Just started going through your content so this may be addressed in a diff video but one of my struggles with time scheduling is that I'm just bad at it I guess? I set times and I create todo lists, but I often overload the day, or I don't schedule realistically for the minutiae that occurs throughout an evening. Or sometimes the lack of flexibility can feel unrealistic in life. Idk, just a vague difficulty in this aspect, if you have any tips. Thanks!

I'll talk about this quite soon but in a nutshell, that stuff doesn't work for most people. And it actually does more harm than good. I abandoned that a long time ago and adopted a day by day approach with a small log and that's it.
But I'll talk about in a video soon!

what are your thoughts on listening to music while working/training is that a deal breaker for u?

    • @vaughngene
      @vaughngene  3 місяці тому +1

I think it’s perfect as long as it helps you focus and retain the info (or train better). Just pay attention to how focused you feel.
I personally don’t listen to music when I workout but that because of combat sports and I’m just used to it.
But sometimes we’ll play music during sparring on the speakers.
At the weight training gym I listen to fan noise or ambient noise because it mimics an empty setting.
But occasionally I’ll blast some metal or something.
I think it’s individualized for sure.
Anyone who says otherwise is kinda gatekeeping for no reason imo.
