Would it be possible since the crimes in Mar-A-Lago occurred in Florida that this case could be tried as a state case if the federal Department of Justice drops it by order of trump if he becomes president? After all the crime of hiding documents that could be injurious to the people of Florida should be the jurisdiction of the State Department of Justice except when the federal department supersedes its Authority. If the case is dropped by the federal department of justice, wouldn't that open the door for the Florida State Department of Justice. Perhaps you could extend that to all states since it's a crime to the citizens of every state
