ive done the sun strat and it works really well. usually break the top spawners first, then the blocks under them to minimize spawns and depending on the type of battle tower, water, buried, golem, I do different things from there. The water ones for example I break every block except for the ones that are connected to the edges as it burns all undead or pushes them into corners and keeps spiders away

actually, I quit Minecraft altogether.
but watching crazy modded games like RL-Craft is still very entertaining.
mostly because there is no VintageStory content to watch.
The amount of pain of losing a hardcore world wit OP stuff is through the roof
Trust me when I say, that stuff wasn’t even that good. No Supreme Sharpness, no Feather Falling. No Ankh Shield. No Stone of Greater Inertia. No Wine of any kind. The amount of crazy shit in this that Cxlvxn has yet to touch is absurd.

@@kakashi6957 1 Playthrough with a shit ton of research. Calvin as entertaining as he is hardly scratches the surface of this. He hasn’t even fought Amalgalich and as we saw with old world, he was clearly unprepared for Parasites. He didn’t listen.
you should take the iron and diamond wolf armor in the start to smelt, it gives a good amount of diamonds and iron, same with unneeded tools and horse armor

The best weapon in rlcraft 2.9 in terms of dps potential (when maxxed) is still nunchucks (or sentient great cleaver if you feel like grinding for an even better weapon) and javlin if you want a throwing weapon rapier is probably the best early game weapon imo, saber is also good, halberd is still good but it had a penalty when using a shield (or anything in the offhand)
Sentient greatbow is best bow, but its hard to get. A flaming dragon bone reinforced long-bow is second best
Isn't ice or flames dragonbone bows equal in being 2nd best

@@chewswisely7365 Ice bows will be better for fire dragons and enemies such as blazes, but since the flame longbows do fire damage its better in more situations
I know this is old, but when i want to clear a battle tower, i take off my shield and use my halberd as long as they werent mobs that shoot things
I’m 11 minutes in on an ad and I just wanna say I’m already loving this, kinda makes me sad to see it’s the finale, but I understand wanting to branch off to new things or being bored with a game after playing it a lot. I hope we get to see another video like this or even just a weekly series of hardcore rl craft sometime in the future. We appreciate you and this video. Thank you for the time you spent. I always have enjoyed your rl craft and Minecraft in general videos.
I will say it’s good to see the body part damage mod working properly. Back when I first played it was glitched to always deal head damage so we kept dying to random shit because we effectively had 3 hearts even if the arrow was clearly sticking out of our leg or torso

tip: try and make the dragon eye on the next playthrough; this will get you fire resistance and night vision and the dragons will no longer hurt you with the flame attack (just be careful about magma block, those still damage you)

- Beware: the events that spawn a bunch of themed mobs can spawn a bunch of cinders: beware living in a wooden house.
- Tablets are harder to obtain, but there are a couple structures where at least 1 is almost guaranteed (like desert temples)
- You can breed bookwyrms to get supreme level enchant books for fighting the bosses
- I'm a fan of the rapier & saber just because I can use them irl, but for more optimal RLCrafting I do sometimes use a war hammer.

I swear when calvin upload his 100 days, it so unique and funny, makes 100 days better honestly and makes me wanna it more
In endgame I use sentient scythe but before then I used flamed dragon bone nunchuks everywhere except lost cities, and in lost cities I used iced dragonbone rapier for the 25% reduced damage, 37:54 you shot one of the teleport arrows and it sent you to the ground, the port you found has a building with 14 emerald blocks in it, if you right click the dragon soul stone you got it’ll give you a pet dragon
I use spear and shield for early game. Using one handed weapons+shield is a go to when you have weak armor.
For late game stuff a pike/halberd or maybe a great sword is decent, the reach advantage is huge.
You gotta use the ancient tombs to get like unbreaking 4 or sharpness 6 stuff like that the tombs go over the lvl limit it’s op
When you are out of projectiles you can use spears(from better survival) or trowing knives
They are incredibly cheap to make
Also for a melee weapon,I prefer the saber
By basic stats it deals slightly less damage than the sword,but it deals more when a mob has no chest armor,so its worth it.
very good in early game but it drops off later when you fight dragons since the unarmoured bonus doesn't affect them I think (also unarmoured mobs are kinda a joke then, late game I prefer the Halberd cause I don't like shields but if you like shields uhhh not sure really it just depends on what you are fighting)

eyy bro this is so cool!!! the amount of pain you gave me from dying after getting all that OP stuff tho...anyways, you should get pet dragons next time! The ice and fire mod is really cool and there's a lot more you can do, like finding the biggest dragons underground, stealing their eggs, growing a baby dragon to a big one and riding it to victory yourself. Would love to see it!

You should place a way stone into a vault/ storage room made of cobblestone/ obsidian just for all of your OP loot so it doesn’t burn down ever again AND also have a back up chest with good weapon and armour for when you have to death scroll back to your things
Definitely NOT cobblestone since there's a mob that turns cobble into lava 😬
I love shadowstone and others like it, blast proof and tough like obsidian but looks way better.
the meta is nunchucks, but i think the pike is good for safety early on - it is two handed BUT the majority of things you can outreach with its reach 1.
It's the one with two-handed 1 and reach 1 and has a really good balance between damage and swing speed.
Or u can try the spear with Reach 1, u can still carry a shield while using that, the supreme pointy stick
Just get throwing dager and a bow
No need of pike
Also Cary saber or raper for damagereductio
I recommend u get fire based weapons if u wanna go to the lost cities cuz parasites are most vulnerable to it. If i remember correctly a burning adapted parasite will take longer to adapt to attacks.

Spear is my pick you get reach1 passive and you can still use a shield. The damage is pretty ok but its one of the safest melee weapons imo.
Btw you should take the ancient tomes they give you an extra level on the enchant they have for example : Unbreaking III book + Ancient tome Unbreaking = Unbreaking IV. You can do it in an anvil but it cost 30 level. Hope i gave you a good information Calvin

Ancient tomes aren't the best in RLCraft, there's more enchants which include advanced versions of the vanilla ones, such as advanced sharpness, efficiency etc.
Those are generally better to have than ancient tomes
You need ancient tomes for silver Armor cuz silver arnor doesn't have a lot of durability@@KazTGE
@bharatmatakayoda advanced mending exists, also, I believe that advanced protection 2 or 3 is better than vanilla prot 4 and maybe even on par with 5

Idk if u know but with the tool belt you can actually put ur tools in it and u can add more pouches for more spaces you just need to assign the key for the tool belt
I always love spears in modded Minecraft, the extra reach is always nice, even if the damage is a bit worse than a normal sword.

Dunno if anyone else said it yet, but the Saber is always a good option. Damage reduction plus double damage to enemies without a chest plate. It's incredibly powerful.
The nerf it recieved in 2.9 made it almost completely useless (same for the rapier)

Nowadays, nunchuks are the good shit. With all the meta enchantments and the right baubles, they do a lot of base damage and have insane attack speed, hitting tens of times per second, easily killing the strongest of mobs in mere seconds
Use torches to block spawners from spawning, especially when its dark

Hey Calvin, if you didn’t know you can cheese the top 2 levels of a battle tower by putting a hopper under the chest cuz u can loot a hopper without waking the golem

To everybody saying Nunchuks are best weapon, they got nerfed in the most recent update afaik (you can not use shield while swinging anymore i belive and some stat adjustments). Still good but no where near as OP as before. I personally use Sabers early game because they have 25% dmg reduction wich is huge when you just have iron or unenchanted diamond gear. Later when i have basic prot enchanted diamond i run Pike for the reach. Greatsword or Longsword is good as well

i use sabers if i know my armor aint enough but if i have armor i love doing the hammer, one handed is convenient plus does a lot of damage and has a fun amount of knockback that really makes using ranged stuff easier or just getting mobs outta your face

I love using the BattleAxe, its an axe for the times you forget to bring any blocks with you and it also deals big dmg and big dmg is big dmg.
you can combo with a nunchaku and a shiels, attacking while blocking. It is the saviour against skeletons.

You can actually pick up way stone you can even make them for mele I recommend halberd it does so much damage and long range oh and if you see a mob that has flame particles on them but it isn't damaging them that means they're like more powerful than normal like when you got the rock with the purple flame that means he's powerful

There's an enchanment named " parry " its basiclly if an enemy hit you 4 times you can ignore guaranteed 1 hit. 25% chance to avoid hits. On the pre update version its 75% chance. Shame nobody use that enchanment. its the most OP one in the game.

I honestly use sabers because there are the only weapon apart from the sword that breaks cobwebs, if not I use long swords they look cool.
Golem armor craft, and all the runes crafting changes with every seed, also there is a wither spawner in the nether fortress dungeon like, but as well as a lot of other mobs, so killing only one was safer

Just a tip: if you see wolf armor in a chest, grab it. If you smelt it down it gives you 5-6 of the material it is made of.
Try to search dragon's nests for mimics cuz they drop op baubles such as feral claws which is so good with nunchaks
