Henry: "I cant tell you what we found. But what we found is YOU."

I am 100% Western European, and I am amazed at how much I have always been drawn to that part of the world.

Happy 10th Anniversary FYR!!FINALLY!! I'm SO pleased to see FYR taking up the challenge to help "everyday" folks find their roots! It's amazing and commendable because it's such a difficult process when you don't have all of the tools and/or financial resources to go further than what you've already discovered on your own. Even learning WHERE to look further in your ancestral journey can be challenging (and a source of constant frustration). BRAVO FYR and ANCESTRY! Y'all ROCK!! And DOUBLE BRAVO to EVERYONE who continues to strive to know who they are and where they come from (including me). Our descendants will be forever grateful, and our ancestors will forever smile upon us until we all meet again! ❤❤ *PS - I can't wait to see the celebs find their roots too. Looks like a great lineup this season!😊

I can’t wait! I am always surprised how much people are touched by finding out about their family history. Including 3 “normal” people is something I’ve been waiting for.

  • @ARcrossroads

I’m so glad this show has reached its 10th season!! A great lineup of guests, & I can’t wait to see the journeys the “General public” guests will go on finding out their family history. So so excited!!!!

My absolute favorite show on television!!

I am so happy to see the 10th season in January. I have found my 3rd and 4th great-grandfathers using DNA, Census, and other records used on the show. Those great-grandfathers were the ones who owned my family and I share DNA with them. There was also amazing documentation provided through the U.S. Southern Claims Commission, Disallowed and Barred Claims, 1871-1880 with my 2nd and 3rd great-grandfathers testifying for their slave owner families and stating that they were owned by them. Thank you for this show, it has been invaluable. I have been a viewer from the beginning.

Somehow people think they know celebrities and therefore find it more interesting to watch these journeys of ancestral discovery than just any random person. However, most any of us watching this would experience the same incredibly emotional and sometimes euphoric journey if we'd have the same opportunity. Members of my family have done significant research and documenting the histories of my ancestors, and I can't help feeling incredible gratitude for the lives they lived and the sacrifices they made for we their future generations. It should be an inspiration for us to do our best for the coming generations.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen Wes Studi smile and laugh. He's such a great dramatic actor, but I've never seen him in a movie where he isn't intense and serious.
