Hi Esther, that was a great shop you took us around. If you don’t already know, that box you found is a vintage brick mould, usually Indian, I have 3 (singular not double like yours, and they typically have those metal strips along the top, some have big letters carved into them) I use them for styling just like you have :) enjoy

The blue Christmas plates are Danish. The Jul...is pronounced with a Y sound. My Swedish grandparents and parents collected those from 2 different Danish companies. I have many today and they are a beautiful part of my home decor year round.

Hello my friend! Always love antiquing with you! You find the most amazing stores & things! Wow.. how much fun would it be if i came & picked you up in a big box truck, had unlimited cash & we just hit the road to all the good spots?! Lol great dream huh?!😄 Where I was raised in NC it doesn't snow very often, & usually not much when it does. I remember it snowing on Christmas day when I was about six or seven maybe. Santa brought me a bassinet stroller for my dolls that year. It was dark blue with white silk inside and white wheels. We always went to my grandma's Christmas Day for dinner, and I took my stroller with me. She had a big front yard and the kids played in the yard in the snow. I remember rolling my stroller all around the yard and the little tire tracks that it left in the snow.. I can still see those tire tracks!🥹 Def great memories! Oh most definitely love the wooden box! I have one about like that, a little larger but with flat bottoms. I collect old wooden side chairs and I do like that one, I like the carving on the back. The quilt was gorgeous!❤ Ohh wow.. that old washing machine was amazing! what a find!😮 My Grandma had an old electric wringer washer when I was a little girl. You had to hand feed the clothes, of course that one is much older! I would love to have that sitting on a big covered front porch! I also love the baker's cabinet and would love to own one. My grandma also had a Baker's cabinet. It was smaller than that one and it was white with red inside. I actually found one, at an antique store in Tennessee, that was just like my grandmother's.. white with the red inside. I wanted that cabinet so bad!🥹 But it just wasn't in the budget at that time. The teapot was cool and loved the wire cloche! I actually have one made of chicken wire that I got at an antique store and I love it!😊 Absolutely love the dishes with the Victorian center. My mom had some with the Victorian center with just the gold lace around the edges, but not the 22 karat gold rim. The pattern in the center was also a bit smaller too. I think those were pretty popular years ago. I don't think $5 is bad for a plate.🤷‍♀️ Aww the gold shoe was so cute! That fabric was beautiful!❤ I have a footstool covered in fabric that looks a lot like that. And my oldest antique side chair has an upholstered seat and part of the back in that type fabric, but it has more burgundy in it. Ohhh my goodness!😮 That copper Victorian teapot and coffee dispenser was absolutely stunning!! And the brass feet were so ornate and beautiful!❤ I've started collecting the hen on nest and would love to have one of every color, in different sizes. But the pottery ones are hard to find! That one is really beautiful. The big metal planter was really neat. I want one of those old desk one of these days! We have so much in common.. we both love old wood, and we both love old furniture!😁 The inkwell was beautiful too. Strange to see Pioneer women in an antique store when they still have them in Walmart??🤔 My pots and pans are Pioneer Woman. I don't normally buy many throw pillows unless they're special.. but those two, the cream with the Velvet back and the one that looked like needlepoint.. were special! I love anything that is hand stitched I think that Joel may have been a peanut butter jar possibly I love all the old aprons okay there's copper lovers Paradise I use my copper just for Decor only my tea kettle has the blue and white ceramic handle and knob I think that one might be newer I love patina on my copper two the napkin holder was very pretty love I have a copper mug and hammered coffee cup I love those jelly molds I like the ones with the brass hooks the Turkish coffee pourer was really pretty! I want one of the copper strainers I like to collect the wood Smashers too anything old and made of wood oh wow congrats on being the grandma I have 7 grandchildren and a great-grandchild do in March I love the old cookie cutters I love the metal milk can I'd love to find one add a better price of course LOL although I know they are expensive green is my favorite color and I absolutely love that green Redbox I can see the ladies wearing those fur coats was there a little pointed high heels the blue white cabinet I have looked everywhere for bust and can never find them I love that pair they were gorgeous my husband had an uncle that passed a couple years ago that collected old comic books still in the plastic paper he had a bedroom and the walls were covered with them that little small frame with the Bubble Glass with super cute do you know I collect all lamps and yes I loved that wooden lamp it was kind of unique but those brass lamps with the amber glass were stunning oh yes I had tin toys!😄 When I was 3 I even had a little red metal car, probably not tin tho, but I could sit in it & if you pulled it back & let go it would roll for maybe 20ft. I remember my dad playing with me in the drive. My mama had old movie reels of it. Lord let's not talk about age honey!🫣😂 Those large pieces of floral art had stunning frames. I have a really old, rusty cast iron Dutch oven but I don't have the lid. I kept it on my front porch on the bottom shelf of a plant stand with all my old flower spades in it. Ohhh wow!😮 That wood & gold clock was absolutely gorgeous! I would love to add that to my collection of mantel clocks! And that price wasn't bad either. I love the vanilla chocolate box, I just love old boxes.😊 I have a small cast iron pan, i keep all mine seasoned really well. That one would be very easy to season I think. And yes it was a good price! Ohh I love that piece of art of the little girl in that frame with the ornate piece on top hanging on the wall. I don't use fruit art but I did love that frame with that black velvet trim. Ohh my goodness.. I did love that mirror with that Victorian picture on it! How unique! I've never seen one like that! That white cast iron, ornate mirror was stunning! That little gold frame with the roses on it was pretty. I would definitely get lost in that store for quite a few hours, like most of the day!😄 Yet another thing we have in common.. our favorite color is green💚 We had a phone like that when I was a teenager. It was cream with roses on the base & handle. Now you really make me feel old!😄 LOL That was in the early 80's, so its not that old, just vintage like me!😁 I collect old silverware, flatware & serving ware. I have a nice collection. I look for really pretty, detailed ones. The bookends were pretty, i love the little bird. I have a couple single ones with no match. I just use them with a stack against the end of the shelf. That huge clock was beautiful!🤍 The crystal & silver candle holder was beautiful too! Now I would love to have that gold phone to add to my Victorian pieces! That dial & base!😮 Obsessed with that little upholstered side chair! That's like my old antique one, but mine has no arms & is burgundy with cream, yellow, blue & green florals & a larger carved wood piece on top. I really want one with the upholstered arms! I have a brass scuttle with the blue & white ceramic handle.. loved the copper one with lion heads! Love the wood box styled under that beautiful violin! Gf..i had a blast, i wrote a entire journal!😄 Thanks for always taking us to saucy amazing places with amazing things! And for putting up with all my chattering! Have A blessed rest of your week!😊

You're right. It seems prices are going up everywhere. Although, I'm sharing a couple thrift stores I went to while in Idaho that had inexpensive prices. So, watch for that one coming soon!
