Don't watch the show anymore. They ruined the character of Elizabeth, Elizabeth resorted back to her Hamilton ways of being selfish, a busybody in everyone business but her own. Never saw her at school teaching much, nor with her son. L and E are probably the worst couple in a scripted tv series. They have nothing in common, no chemistry, and depth. They can't work out their issues unless its offscreen. They also made a mockery out of Nathan by having him apologize over and over. Nathan never got justice for the hit and run. Lee wasn't working at the mill anymore (that was his pride and joy). Rosemary never really wrote any good new stories. The Canfields, Nathan/Allie are the only bright spots to look forward to on the show. I guess the only bright spot for WCTH is the baby coming for Lee and Rosemary. Sorry, it's not enough to bring me back unless some major overhauling is done on this show to get it back to its roots. It just isn't good anymore and with the promos I've seen so far, it doesn't look like it will be much better than last year.

I watched the 1st episode . I loved having it back. Of course my favourite story line is L&E . And all the other ones were good too. Love live this show.❤️❤️❤️❤️
This show was the highest rated scripted cable Tv series last year.. The S9 finale had almost 4 million. It was renewed for S11, because it is great, and many people all over the world love and appreciate this wholsone, uplifting show❤❤❤❤. Lucas and Elizabeth have beautiful chemistry and alk the cast work great together. The S10 prrnire was wonderful❤

Actually, season 8, episode 1 had 2.1 million viewers. People thought E and N were going to be a couple. The demographic age 18-49 wanted N and E. The Season 8 premiere episode also was the No. 1 most-watched entertainment cable program of the week among Women 18+, according to Nielsen. The episode drew a.19 rating in the 18-49 demo, and 2.1 million viewers.
I love When Calls The Heart ❤ and I was very happy to watch all 2022 episodes before the first one of 2023 . Unfortunately I can't see any more of them because our TV provider has cancelled the channels on which I used to watch it . I am very disappointed to say the least. When I first started watching it, it was carried on CBC but they no longer show it .😢 I hope that I'll get to watch it on some other channel in the not too distant future future and I'll listen to the updates on U tube! L did not have good qualities. He tricked E every single time he got a chance. I speak the truth, and the facts are all out there. WCTH lost almost a million viewers after the horrible season 8, that's a fact. They also lost the demographic age group they wanted to appease. This is why JT was fired. I don't look at shows just bc a character is handsome. I look at the writing, the depth of the characters(which L did not have any with E at all). I've tried to get on board with this couple, but I can't. They don't make any sense together. They have no chemistry. Without chemistry, a relationship is dead. I guess it's just your opinion based on you just think L is handsome..that's not a good enough reason.

I have better shows to watch that is actually written better and doesn't have "shock factor" like BB said happened with L. This show is the best. The ratings were fine or it wouldn't have been renewed. They were definitely higher than at anytime Jack/DL was on. Jack/ DL is doing movies for Great Anetican Family channel. Has a new one coming out, I believe! The only people saying he is coming back are a bunch of clickbait vidieos. Hallmark has not hinted at that and they do not list him as cast. But they have promoted Elizabeth and Lucas. ❤❤❤❤❤

The writing, the new character change has turned this show into a soap opera. If you like soaps then this show is for you. It's no longer a scripted show that's written well. The depth is off, the characters are all out of place, there is no beginning and no ending to each episode, the dialogue isn't written well. Just bc you're a fan, doesn't mean it's written well. The show only carries 2 million viewers, that's low for a scripted show. If it was better written, it could have carried 3 to 4 million easily. You really need to learn the basics of writing/storytelling.
