Just up the road from me. Friends have lost their homes, but luckily not injured. Everyone has been so amazing helping out. So difficult to watch. Thank you for helping and hopefully this footage will help us learn how to protect and fight against future fires.

Outstanding record of this, as with all major fires, unexpected event. Sincere commiserations to those on the Green whose homes got the brunt of the fire. However, the fire was heading across to Green farm, Lewis and Dunnetts close. There was a wind change, that pushed it to the Green. It could have been a lot worse.

This is such a terrible thing to happen to people in this village. My mum included. Well done to all the amazing people that helped. Maybe this could of all been avoided if the crop wasn't so close to the back gardens of homes. From what I've seen from this footage the crop has no fire break.

No fire break on 1 house and the garden and sheds all went up and helped fire get to a house and off it went also every fire station should have a drone just like this no fancy 6,000 over priced drone would just be as good
