Javed Ali is a revered musician n he's the judge in the show..n he told what he felt right..if truth hurts somebody don't sympathise with her..truly talented person takes positive n negative remarks equally n only as a means to grow better...talent of a singer cannot be measured on the basis of no. Javed took Akriti's name only after Shaan tried to insult his judgment saying that Javed wanted complex songs, only to hide Akriti's mistake. Shaan was really arrogant here. It's a competition. There will be marking and there will be mistakes pointed out. If one is not willing to tolerate this, one should not be part of such competitions. Such immaturity n Shaan's part!

Shaan pointed out the real fact that is taking place everywhere nowdays in reality shows or while judging any singer.
A performer is being judged nowdays on the basis of how many harkats(unnecessary) he has taken in songs, how many variations are there, on how much high range he is singing(again unnecessarily in every song). This criteria seems somewhat annoying when performer just kills the original composition and makes it sound like a source of showing vocal skills. But that song cannot connect to the audience's heart as the original superhit composition connects. Those composers were legends and they have given such gems that changing them will remove the soul of that song. Performer should know how to present a particular song and composition in front of audience which will automatically show his brilliance and skill. Kitna sur lagaya isse jyada kitna sur me gaya ye important hota hai.
Shaan was right in general but javed was only talking about the strain in akriti's voice in higher notes. He wasn't talking about taking more harkats. Shaan misinterpreted him so he had to take akriti's name.

Javed knows what he is talking about. Shaan thought something else that javed didn't mean. And then he didn't let javed to explain. Akriti sang in higher notes than she is used to, so there was strain in her voice in higher notes. Neha Bhasin said it right, If they make a small issue into a bigger one, all will give diplomatic judgement from the next time. Sajid and mika have no idea what they are talking about. They are just trrying to be looked good. Javed is an established singer. He understands music better. If he says something could have been better. Take it to the chin and move on. Shaan is so full of himself. Just imagine if shaan made a mistake and javed pointed that out how furious would he get? No matter how big singer you are, you are bound to make mistakes on live performance. If javed took akriti's name at first, shaan still would have made an issue of it, so would sajid. Mika is just a fake person hanging around. I like judges like Javed, monali, shantanu, Amaal malik, shankar because they are very honest about their opinion in music.

2:41 jab show dekhengetb koi flaw nhi hoga these things get corrected,reason why i don't trust reality tv show,autotune is fine,but they also can change your pitch,decrease or increase background music etc.there t&c indicates that they can add post production effects to your performance,can insult you for trp,xfactor,the voice,idol and other show all over the world does it,sodont just anybody on these shows cause everything can get corrected,they use live autotune which is fine,but some mistakes are highlighted just to favour the script such a poor concept

Let us hear that song which led to such a heated arguments among judges , otherwise we would say , it was a battle of biasness and favouritsm and no more . It will also make this show controversial one . Sir Javed shouldn't have come in this show which is a lacklusture show . Most of the judges , except Javed Ali , have no capability to observe the talent of the contestants . They only make jokes of the contestats . During an audition test of an another show , one of the pair of Wajid - Sajid pair, also present in this show had made jokes of one contestant in that show named " Sachin Valmikan " and taunted in various ways , but after his rendition of the song those judges in that show were impressed and hiding their faces . ( 12-04-2021 ) .

@vishal sharma First of all in this kind of shows if people start explaining why they deducted points it will often feel offending for the singer because they are all established already and they are not in a habit of listening to others pointing out the mistakes. Now javed ali never said that points are deducted bcoz this song is not sung with improvisations , it's shaan who himself made out the point and started providing counter arguments. see the quality of song or singing can never be judged on how audience are feeling about it or how enjoyable or requested they are, there are many brilliant songs and performances which people hardly listen and that's why we need judges.
