I've been knitting for 13 years, and Keith's knitting technique was closest to what I've done and seen practiced knitters do. Everyone made beautiful stuff, but I was especially impressed with Keith for making that hat, and Zach for starting a new bowtie and improving so much!

X X Yeah but what fun is that? Finding and plottting to gett stuff for others is half the fun of the hollidays. The other is the food, but I digress. Like this year, I looked everywhere to find a DVD copy of one of my mother’s favorite movies ever, because the VHS player finally broke and it’s time. That took a lot of time and effort, but it was something I knew she would like. Or getting a movie for my boyfriend based on the first book in the series of which the second book became the first Die Hard movie, because I know he likes those. Doing suff like that is fun.

Just want to say that the sweater curse is a great way to figure out whether or not that person is worth your time. People usually break up because the knitter poured their blood, sweat, and tears into a sweater that their significant other may or may not appreciate. Can you imagine spending weeks (usually months) knitting a sweater for someone only for them to never wear it? Her comment about stabbing people is real if the sweater receiver doesn’t appreciate it 😂
Can I just say “Thank You!” to Zach, Eugene, Ned, and Keith (and your entire staff) for consistently making videos that show humor, friendship, inclusiveness, fun, and joy EVERY time? And it’s easy to see that we are all STARVING for this type of content by the number of views that quickly tack up on every post. Hello everyone, I'm a 14 year old that has been knitting since I was 9 (5 years), I've made tons of projects including 17 queen sized blankets and if anyone wants to learn how to knit here are some of my favorite tips for beginners
1. Bamboo Needles- they are so much easier to use as a beginner as your work doesn't slide off as easily so when you cast on its much easier
2. Straight Needles- A lot of people find knitting with straight needles at first is easier than knitting with circular needles
3. Same color yarn- This ones self explanatory imo as patterned yarn makes it quite hard to see what stitch to grab before knitting a stich
4. Larger yarn and needles- it makes the project go quicker for people who aren't expecting it to take as long as it normally does
5. Just. Keep. Going- When I first learned to knit at the smallest mistake or if I thought I was doing something wrong even it I wasn't, I would tear apart all of my work and start over. The first thing I ever knitted only came out because I just kept going instead of ripping back and it soon came together on the needles :)

I keep knitting without stopping when I make mistakes(because I was too lazy to go back lol). The blanket looks questionable, but the process is genuinely fun and enjoyable. Still on my first project and I did not expect it to take me so long😂
I have a genuine query if u don't mind? Um I don't understand how the concept of knitting larger things that go beyond the needle length. How does that process work exactly and what do i do? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@acelovesdiyschristopher7023 No I don't mind at all! When wanting to knit something larger than the needles, you will have to compress the stitches very tightly together (stitches expand off the needle) or, knit to the length of the needles then stretch the project once you have casted off! Hope that helps!
