I’ve updated it. It’s been working perfectly. I have a feeling it was the batteries. But definitely do what you feel comfortable with.
I had the exact same issue with SmallRig VB99 batteries and the Aputure power station. The instructions for the Aputure station state that 200wh+ batteries are required but I'm now fairly certain the issue is with the SmallRig VB99 batteries.
Same here. The 99W batteries seem to run the light just fine. No issues so far (*knock wood). Plus, 200wh+ gets pretty expensive.
Just a shot in the dark here (no pun intended) as I've never used the Smallrig batteries, but maybe they need to "see" a load? If no load, they shut off?
Perhaps. That sounds like that could be the problem. I’m sticking to my non-scree batteries.
