The late Christopher Reeve was simply the perfect Superman...but he did do other movies...he fough the type casting.. Charming man...talented leading man...
Saw interview of him after accident where he said he never realized how self- centered he was in his former life. "Most actors are like that." Imagine any actor/actress saying that today.

Jimmy Carter? That's certainly not the president asking the questions. Maybe he's an interviewer with the same name? Also, this was just a few days before Christopher Reeve fell from his horse and was paralyzed for life. Very sad.
Sad but true. The movie itself was funny in parts as well. God how we all wish Keaton and Reeve had actually done a Batman and Superman movie together.
Batman v Superman is a masterpiece and one of the best superhero movies of the modern era. Few superhero movies touch on so many political and philosophical themes and really delve deep into the characters like that one does.
Its possible. He did suffer bouts of hair loss. He wore toupees for the last two Superman films. It doesn't diminish him in any way though not then, and not now. He was a great man.
Chris was funny and charismatic, he was my childhood hero.
We miss you Christopher!
This was around 1994, before the accident. RIP
Chris lived a pretty clean life: No drugs, no extramarital affairs(that we know of), no trouble with the law.
He had smoked some cigarettes, a little of weed and a few drinks but he stopped by 21.
@@soupful How do you know Chris smoked weed?
@@KC_5432 had no idea about them two. Thanks
The way he was before his accident & after is so stark. It's like he became a different person, & in many ways, I suppose he DID!

WONDERFUL person. So missed
How TRUE, Christopher Reeve did and made a credible realistic drama in STREET SMART
That's the only reason why he agreed to make Superman IV; because they financed Street Smart.
@@williamshaw9047 Financed it directly out of Superman IV's budget it appeared. And Masters of the Universe. 😆
Era bellissimo.rip🙏
For me his Count Vronsky in "Anna Karenina" was his best role. Like Anna.....I wouldn't have been able to resist him either.
Village of the Damned was better than Speechless. But the Superman movies always win.
Very interesting remark on the final Superman flyby scene. Never heard that before.
You got to love him, well sadly loss ( sad face )

I have to admit watching Speechless clips now Reeve was starting to get on in years compared to Keaton.
I never watched any superman episodes. I liked more his drama movies.

Yes true isnt ex-president James aka Jimmy Carter. Is a journalist interviewer of same name. Hope explains
Is it sad that Speechless was a better Batman v Superman than the ACTUAL Batman v Superman

Superman 3 Christopher Reeve weird
Obviously a DIFFERENT "Jimmy Carter," heh heh heh..........
Is he wearing a wig in this interview?
no he's originally blond
He also had alopecia areata, which caused patchy hair loss.
No. No wig

@@bratton79 It looks like a toupee or a bad haircut. Look at the difference between the hair on the sides and the hair on top.
