This is my third video with the Roland FR-8x v-accordion. I am once again using specially programmed User Programs to allow me to comfortably switch between the combination of voices and percussion.

Thank you, Benito. Van Damme is unique and I couldn't begin to match his level. As Dick Contino once said, it doesn't work to try to be like a Contino, Van Damme, or anyone else, but we just need to develop a style that works for us.

Thanks for the comments. Just one point--on this one I didn't use any looping, just a delay effect at the beginning and end. The rest of the song was done without any effects processing (other than some reverb).

Curious, I looked up Don Grzanna and downloaded his singing this song on his modestly produced CD. You are to be commended for seeing the potential in this song and giving it a hauntingly beautiful arrangement. Of your many wonderful videos, your performance here shows impressively soulful artistry.

Wonderful and well thought out combination of voices, the occasional reverb adds so much and the note bending was a delight. The balance of each voice is superb and the resulting audio comes through in splendid stereo.

Richard, I guess its like the corvette You gotta have the latest! and I thought I had it my fr7x. Is the 8 that much better? Its hard to tell you play so wonderfully you could make an old Capitol Deluxe sound great!
