Guitarist/songwriter Pete Townsend coined the term power pop as a way to describe both The Who and The Beach Boys' sounds. Power pop has also pointed up The Beatles too.
Hey man, You should really do one on Linkin Park, they were by far the most Influential Rock Band of the 2000s and maybe even 2010s and they also did Nu Metal arguably better than any other band at the time. Hybrid Theory is still a Classic.
