Thats a heck of a deal! That case never last long when I flip one. This is a solid build and one I deal with a lot. The 1660 series cards are more than capable of handling modern title! great vid! keep it up!
It was a steal! Luckily I saw it within the first few hours of it being listed and acted quick. The case made the sale a lot easier. I see many comparable systems and they are having trouble selling. It helps to have a case that stands out.
I had a similar story, was on fb marketplace and came across this "gaming setup" and I went and it was 300 and took it home for 250, had a 1050ti, amd fx 6300 "terrible" and a really old case and 2 mouses, a keyboard wifi adapter mouse pad and basically everything. I took a good look and tobacco smelled terrible and I had to dust it out with a leaf blower, and isopropyl its with like 100 que tips, bought a 1080 for 170, bought a vga to dual 8 pin power and I'm still waiting for a good buyer, listing is 500 without the accessories and so far 2 ps5 offers, 1 150 cash offer 2 390 offers and 3 who were interested ghosted and likely found something else, to this day after 2 months it still smells like tobacco and today I went and replaced the thermal paste and there was grass instead of paste, good video!
Wow grass instead of thermal paste? Thats a new one. Its tough to get tobacco smell out of anything. I bought a used keyboard that was used by a smoker and luckily it broke because the smell would never leave no matter how many times I cleaned it.
I really liked this bro thank you. I could tell instantly from your intro that although you may be small - your heart and talents are of that of bigger channels.
Thank you for the kind words! I reallly appreciate the feedback. I'm trying my best to make quality content, it's just hard to get stuff out quickly with a full time job. But I will continue posting new stuff at least once a month.
Keep up the PC flipping, very fun to watch. After building my first PC I too still crave building another one just becuase of how fun it was the first time 😂
Thank you! I've always love tinkering with PC's but the last few years I just can't get enough of building them. I can't go more than a month or two without doing something. It's addicting for sure!
You did the right thing selling it to the customer you've promise to. Remember, Integrity 1st before profit you can EARN money but it's HARDER to earn trust.
This case is discontinued for a reason. The glass mounts can cause the panels to explode in your face. Cinebech is not really the best benchmark for an AMD chip but it’s something I guess.
I dont think you understand what you did and then complained about it when people did it to you. The graphics card you bought was up for 120$ you low balled him @ 80$ offering him 2/3 of what he wanted. 40 + 40 + 40 = 120$ 2/3 = 80$. You were asking 700$ for PC. 2/3 would be 466.66$ 233.33 + 233.33 + 233.33 = 700$. Thanks for the free content, made me laugh. 🤣
I'm glad you can do math but the major difference here is that the GPU was sitting on Craigslist for 2 months and the guy just wanted to get rid of it. I have nothing against negotiation. I list items higher than I want to allow for negotiation. And although the percentages are the same - the difference between $40 and $200 is quite large. There's a difference between making an offer and a low ball offer. And my main gripe with the low ball offers is that they are not in person. People do not even have a conversation with you they just send you random numbers and expect you the be like "Yes, you can buy this for half the price i listed at." That might work once in a while but it used to be that if you wanted to make an offer like that you did it in person with a wad of cash in your hand.
I've always loved building PCs. Over the past 3 or so years I started building them for myself and friends more often. So its kinda been in the back of my mind as a good way to make a little money while still having an excuse to build something.

90-100 FPS on High in WZ2.. for a 1660Ti sounds impossible. Maybe the CPU does do something but other than that I don't think I can believe that. I'm getting ~80-ish FPS with my 1060 3gb somehow on Very Low and there isn't any generational gap at all.
1660ti is based on turing architecture. It is significantly faster than a 1060 3gb. Heck even the 1060 6gb is quite a bit faster than it. Also that is on High settings, not ultra or maxed.
