Martijn. Grtz Kris
With router or mill use a rougher end mill first offset the diameter of that endmill so it leaves about .020" then change to finish endmill it will be a precision part as well as look Great on the finish.
really nice work! TIP: you should use soluble(in water) oil when drillin or working metal, instead of DW40, beacause soluble oil provides cooling and lubrication, and DW40 just lubrication.
erg tof zeg , ik heb met grote plezier zitten kijken , ik ben zelf een cnc frezer en kan hier wel een hoop inspiratie uithalen !!! Ben je zelf ook dagelijks werkzaam als metaalbewerker ?
@@iainburnett-s4f Hi Lain, speaking as an hobbyist, before you start, the rpm’s of the RF25 motor isn’t that high for milling with small mill diameters so milling will be very slow or you are breaking that mill! For the big work > 8 mm mill , the rpm’s are good. On my other router I use diameters < then 8 mm and can do rpm’s to 25000 rpm which speeds up the milling process. At this moment on vacation in France, when I’m home again I will give you info…. Grtz Kris
Great work Kris, and a great tip from my other friend LoomisRex :) Ramping is done at the plunge feed rate, but not down as a drill but using an angle... Search for the "Ramp angle" setting
Hi Kris, can you send me the CAD files for all the parts you made and the part number of the motors and ball screws please. I am just s5tarting to convert my RF25. Thx

Very nice work.
I have a CNC router also and every time i mill aluminium i use ramp plunging.
thats a very capable router

I have same question. Who can make those adapter for my rf25/30
hi what size motors and length ball screws did you, use any info is welcomed as have the same RF25

Hoi Martijn, nee het is louter een nieuwe hobby 😉
hi Kris could you supply info on motor sizes and ball screws please as i have the same RF25 and looking at doing the same regards Iain

Hi Kris,
Could you please tell me, how do you calculate the depth of cut of each pass (on the cnc router)?
Thanks
Hi Loomisrex, thanks, I will look for that item in my software, so it is not the same as plunge feed?
Great work Kris, and a great tip from my other friend LoomisRex :)

Hi Marcel, thanks for the tip, I wil search for the "ramp angle" in my software cambam. Very curious for the result.
Could you share your cad files for all the aluminum bearing blocks you made?
I have send you a message in messenger for your email.
Do you have the cad files for all of the mounts you made??
I have, I need an adress that I can send them to you…

I would but where do I send it to….? Its a sketchup file.
@@krisdevoecht hi Kris. I sent you a separate email a few days ago. It may be in your spam or junk folder. Please can you reply to that. Thx
