Pancakes (I eyed everything)
1/3 cup buckwheat flour
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 mashed banana
1 orange squeezed (can add zest) (or simply replace with more milk)
1/2 - 1 cup of soy milk
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
let sit for at least 10 mins!! as your pan heats up.
cook! enjoy!
this was one serving for me and made 4 pancakes.

always appreciate the gentle reminders so much. i struggle a bit with eating intuitively, because on one hand i know when i want to eat, but on the other hand constant digestive issues make it hard to figure out if i'm hungry and i legitimately have not feel hunger in a long time. it's a bit of inconvenient guesswork that makes me feel like i shouldn't eat because i'm not hungry, because that's not very intuitive i guess? 😅 but i try to remind myself that i still deserve food and i deserve to eat. really appreciate your videos, much love

I’m sorry you’re going through this, it can be very painful ☹️ my advice is to go to a dietitian! (Make sure they’re HAES aligned/anti-diet). It could be a plethora of reasons.
@@nina.montagne I have been very stressed lately and often forget to eat.. that explains it. I went to the ER and I was prescribed an anti bloating tablet. Hope it works

Hey Nina, thank for the video, beautiful to watch. I just have a question, what would you advise someone starting out with intuitive-ish eating in order to get enough nutrients? I know that I often don't crave the variety that I need. Thanks!
Part of intuitive eating is learning what your body NEEDS and not just what it wants. If you’re craving a grilled cheese sandwich but know you haven’t had much veggies recently, pair what you’re craving with some yummy fresh produce you like. I’ve found that at this point my body craves the foods it both needs and wants. :)

Ohhh this is what most people think will happen, but it’s diet culture getting in your brain 🥺 once you allow all foods and go through the process of habituation (time varies from person to person) - you will tune into your hunger cues and have a peaceful relationship with food. There is no need for self-monitoring 💐
