Thank you! Great idea to keep the pad on the kick-off side a little looser to facilitate getting the foot in the pads at launch. I've also heard that staggering the positioning side-to-side can be helpful and am trying that, but haven't formed an opinion on that yet. Chooch had a good suggestion for the positioning and mounting process which was placing a piece of paper between the pads and the velcro during positioning and pulling it out when it's right can avoid struggling with the velcro during repositioning, so kudos to Chooch for that one.

I think this video needs part 2. A year later version of pads placement for fast riding positioning.

Tiež som ich posunul vzad a keďže mám najazdených len cca 400km patrím stále k začiatočníkom v tomto nádhernom športe.
A preto som ich tiež umiestnil trošku vyššie nad topánku, aby som mohol manipulovať s topánkou.
No a keď som vo videu spozoroval, že odrazová, alebo tá noha, ktorú kladiem prvú na zem pri zastavení by mala byť menej uzamknutá ma úplne dostalo. Veľmi pozoruhodná pripomienka, s ktorou som sa ešte nikde nestretol. A funguje to znamenite.
Moc mi toto video dalo a znamenite pomohlo.
    Šťastné kilometre Jazdec.

Having the pad further up the leg actually decreases torque. Distance X force. Having the pad lower allows your body weight (force) to be applied further (distance) from the axis of rotation (anything above the pad).

    Thanks !
But one question to all guys...when you ride...have you one foot more in front ?
Or have you both foots at the same position ?
    How do you ride ?
    I repeat -
Are both feet synchron when you ride,or is one foot a bit in front ?

I LOVE this video sooo much! This video resolved most of my problems about how to adjust my pads😂
However I still have one question is: Should my leg be positioned at the middle of my wheel but not my feet at the middle of the pedal, right? If I put my leg at the middle of my Patton, then my foot will be a little bit forward on the pedal, and I’m confused about this.

    • @DawnSChampion
      @DawnSChampion  Рік тому +1

My feet usually are a little forward of the pedal. If it feels secure and comfortable, I think it’s normal

I know this is late but most people have their toes hanging out because foot positioning should be based between ball and heel. Not end to end. However I would love my foot to be farther back for more breaking power because I think it’s critical in emergencies but my V14 with the pads it came in doesn’t allow me that.
