The presets themselves are so fantastic and then to be able to customize them infinitely and save your own presets is a huge bonus. I think it's made all my other instruments obsolete. This surely is the future of VST instruments. It's hard to imagine that anyone will improve on this instrument, but I suppose we've been saying that for years! Thanks so much for this video, it's helped me a lot with learning Cube.
I'm not sure if I'm missing it... But is it possible to to route in audio channels from the DAW to be treated by the effects in this tool? Because you keep talking about making our own sounds from sounds we never made... PLEASE tell me that we can treat sounds which are actually exclusively our own.
I’m not gonna say u can’t,I’m just not sure, that’s something I would have to go to their page to check out, they should have more detailed information there
@@ArsineyMusic I'd appreciate it. If you can find it, and share it... It could introduce dimensions of use that people have been missing for YEARS. In addition, it supports acoustic artists as well. Which means it helps the company tremendously. Why? Example: If people are only allowed to create their own children and breed animals, then the orphans grow up unadopted... animals get euthanized... what I am stating is that synthetic music is KILLING acoustic music and its creation due to saturation in the market... ...HOWEVER if a brave new tool is forward thinking enough to support both newborns and adoptions (acoustic & synthetic) then "IF" they possess the necessary tools to enhance "Certain elements" of the sound (which this "largely" does), then when people's eyes are opened regarding what it is TRULY capable of... People will not only have their minds blown (not because this is some cool new instrument... but) because it can change the relative perception of elementals within space, beyond what anyone (quite possibly even the developers) have conceived as the bounds for this tool's capacities. It could actually end up evolving additive synthesis, while acting as a mass catalyst for the resurgence and preservation of acoustic performance and its musicians. It could be a leading tool within a truly new dawning era of audio & music, and act as a conservative tool for the arts. This is NOT a tool which people should sleep on (trust me... I am not reactive to "Gimmicks" but useful tools for both paving the future and the evolution of our species).
Not high at all I mean I went to the website and read up more on it and watched their run through video just because I like to be informed about every feature but it’s pretty straightforward.I’d say u can use it right out the gate but u should still watch vids to see what it can really do
vector synthesis been out for 30 yrs dude...they just made the box into 3d to go from blending 4 sources to 8...its just volume crossfading...there are lots of other plugs that do this...paid and free...dont get me wrong the gui is slick...but its not really going anywhere new
Didn’t say its never been done before, “vector senthesis” is not the only cool thing this plugin does, and my measurement of a good plugin always starts with it’s sounds and the sounds in this thing is very unique and great quality.you can take an old concept and put a unique spin on it,that still requires creativity and originality 🤷🏾♂️
@@ArsineyMusic Yea, you’re usually not going to discover a whole new type of synthesis in a plugin. It definitely qualifies as innovative though, not just in terms of the “cube” visual, but the way the layout allows you to get creative with modulation in a very clear way. The possibilities can quickly be understood when the GUI is so clearly and effectively laid out. It’s awesome, I’m quite happy with it so far. Even copped the Air expansion already. It’s $19 right now (down from $49).

I am so happy PB gave the lite version for free. It has very incredible sounds. Most of them create a nice atmosphere as a backgroundtrack or pad.
