Now, the doyen is keener on passing the torch to the next wave of afropop royalty.
In part two of his #BlackBox Interview episode, DonJazzy speaks in-depthly about the Mo’ Hits split, building Mavin, some tea on his love life and what’s next for Mavin Records.

I think the Don should put out a book on how to run a successful record label in Africa.
Absolutely
I swear that’s gonna be so awesome
For sure yoh love from Kenya on Instagram @king_sir_ace_certified
Correct!! in South Africa we have Oskido ( check him out)
@@bayandasiqiniseko7158 I know him though...
Who else thinks Don jazzy looks and talks like Mr Ibu? 😘
was just about to type the exact same thing 😅😅😅
Yes o
So True girl .
Don jazzy ibu lol on Instagram @king_sir_ace_certified
Aswear
Ebuka does his interview like therapy
Exactly
I thought i was the only one that noticed that
I think we all need one of the Psquares' on bounce next
Yes, we really do
Where’s the lie here?
Mr p
Ikechukwu Blutrance I prefer Ruddy tho.😢
Yessssssss
How Ebuka is able to get the guests to be crazy comfortable enough to divulge so many profoundly teachable life moments is beyond me. Yet another Utterly Brilliant Interview.
It's part of the deal , if u ain't going to open up.. theres no point coming ..
Hennessey dey system you say them divulge information 🤣
It's obvious Don don't want to talk but the more he declined the more Ebuka get him involved.
It's the alcohol also. He is drinking black label, that alone will relax him.😜
It's the content in the cup and also the fact that ebuka is a very likeable person
Baba was so emotional when saying I need someone to come out and beat his hand on his chest and say don jazzy didn’t treat me well... that means baba was always nice to everybody 😢😢😢
I swear we really love Rema ohhh hahahahaha
This is not the first time DonJazzy talked about Falz.
Elveektor Music I didn’t know that.. but he hasn’t done any collaboration with Falz in anyway tho.
That was emotional though 😞
@@francisuyi6175 that's not true. Search "safe". He sang with Falz during the lockdown.
I think Don Jazzy doesn't understand the power he carries. Seems there is some lack of self confidence in him that's deep rooted. He should give himself more credit. Having higher education or a lack of it isn't all that one needs to be who they are. Don Jazzy is an icon on his own and it's time he owned it. Take those speaking engagements one at a time baba. You're good to go. ❤
He is just being humble and honest because he is the public
It's humility
Wow thanks for this beautiful words, this’s so true.
Joan..
I agree with you. You are so spot on
I think he's just being natural and humble. Going by this interview, He doesn't show any lack of confidence in the power he carries. Don't forget he said "I carry grace and believe I am always valuable" which depicts some level of self-awareness. Though I may agree that he is not a great communicator.
Omo, this interview is just like it's your own friends & family members they're talking about. It all feels so personal & painful. All this Wande, Olamide, Reekado gist brings back so many memories. We really feel connected to these Artists sha. Shout out to Don Jazzy once again for keeping it super real. 🏆
Tito!!
@@olugbengakoya4061 😆 Gbenga!
I still miss Wande sha😲
Watching this interview you can tell exactly why he holds his words back. People misunderstand him a lot, and he hates that. He hates being judged, so he'd rather just not say it than have random people give wrong opinions and interpertations. Watching this interview felt like watching myself in the mirror. Yes! I am very much like him, thats why i relate to him in a lot of things, even the love life.
I had a good laugh watching this. Dondazzy is just so real
My love for donjazzy and Ebuka just went up.. Geniuses in their respective fields ❤❤
Don jazzy is really smart i like how he answered his questions. No room for media to twist his words
They’ll still twist it
Probably cos it’s truth.
Johnny drille to d world, those of us that love him will continue to love him and support him
yes o
*Johnny Drill is a Rockstar* forreal. Nigeria isn't just ready for him yet. We Nigerians just enjoy music with noice. His music speaks to the soul. And we are scared to feel vulnérable listening to it.
Not Don Jazzy giving Ebuka a taste of his own medicine. Putting him on the spot ," Who don't you like?" 😅😅😅
Ebuka and Bounce radio! try and invite and make this kind of deep interview with OLAMIDE also ... I want to hear him also speak about his own record label journey and his personal life too..
Yeah me too
Johnny Drille dey sing abeg...no drop anything ooo...no be all of us go "gbangbadidi".
More than 2 hours interview and I didn't want it to end
I love the way Don Jazzy stands up for his artists! An exemplary selfless leader 💪🏾
Ebuka: Take a bow. There can’t never be anything like Mohitz. That group was really great!!
Just like I said in the first part, you can tell that DonJazzy needed this kind of conversation to share a lot of things.. Not like he even wanted to convo to end... Loved every bit of it... Ebuka is good!!!!
I totally agree with you. It was definitely therapeutic.
@@joslims Surely therapeutic for him
That’s true... I love the way he also helps another people outside his label
@@francisuyi6175 yup... He helps freely
Whoa!!!! your sincerity is mind boggling....
Therapy may help you articulate your feelings and thoughts...
Cheers!!!!
Do you think he needs help?
That's another way of looking at it....
He may not need it....
true though...
I just perceived ......from a place of his sincerity of what went wrong.....
.
Most times, a professional may provide a different way of how we see things.....
Don jazzy can fall out of love anytime but I think he will be a great man in love
One day I hope I'll work and chill with Don jazzy and Ebuka. On God
Johnny drill is so popular in my country.i don't know why people don't seem excited about him in naija
Where is your country?
Ikr😂. Naija needs to bigup on Johnny Drille
Baba please where’s your country now.. answer.
The interview feels so relatable and personal going by how we evolved with Mo Hits. I love Jazzy so much and pray he finds the Love he deserves.
I pray so too, I wish he would find true love sooner than later.
Amen
Jonny Drill is something else. His voice is so beautiful. People outside the country don't believe he is a Nigerian. At first I didn't know he is a Nigerian.
First Industry blueprint ever .... Don Jazzy 2021🙌🏽🙌🏽
I see BIG BROTHER NAIJA in this Don Jazzy like he is the Big Brother himself.
He is a man of simplicity
Simplicity to the core...
Yeah
Don Jazzy clearly understands the game, is so enterprising and has an amazing personality. He also seems like a really nice guy.
Ebuka with questions Sha.. ebuka u r a great guy.
Don foeva da Don
Real OL G
That tongolo intro shows how musically gifted Don Jazzy is
This interview was beautiful to watch..Ebuka is a Genius, how he does these interviews very effortlessly is amazing..Don jazzy is a world asset..Welldone Bounce
When don jazzy said to Ebuka “I still don’t understand why you don’t follow me on Instagram “😂🤣🤣That took me out 😂
Brilliant interview as always 👏👏👏
Activated Artists and Artists in the academy? Woww! 😱 This business is serious o. Mad respect.
Yea apart from christ embassy marvin record are the best in Africa wen it comes to grooming artists
I swear I thought this things is just come and sing and go. I didn’t know it takes a huge process I swear.. and while learning you also get paid.. despite how down the Nigeria economy is.. some people are still doing the most. People good sha
@@francisuyi6175 Lol. I swear! 👊🏾
Johnny Drille is a huge Artist to those who know music
My JD 😊
I don't know why I relate so much to Donjazzy
Same here with me
Johnny Drille is my best , I accept him with my full chest ooo...
I really want to see M.I Abaga interview
On god bro. The Jagz story, Brymo story, Ice story, Milli and so many more. Alot things that need to be said.
Very necessary!
Honestly
Hear, hear!!! Ebuka we need MI Abaga on the Bounce
Awwwwww he is such a humble fellow...
Guess he still holds onto his younger years baggages.
He needs therapy and a personal coach.
You are a good man and you deserve every good thing.
is it only me having problem with Jazzy not talking directly to the mic, the bounce crew should notice this na aba, the thing dey pain me as this is one of the best interview by Jazzy ever graced
Man does not like interviews. I'm even surprised Ebuka was able to drag him to do this and also made him say so much for a shy man.
Bro i just de struggle to hear mehn 🤦♂️
Yes he wasn’t really speaking into the mic but the room needs to be worked on speakers and microphone and sound proofed
Normal life Ebuka shud look into this
I agree with you with the sound. It was going high and low, had to use airpod to listen very well
We need Buhari here. Please bring him
Wahala too much abeg😂😂😂😂... what’s this now?
For real ?🤣🤣🤣🤣
Which of them? 😂
Really emotional listening to him explaining how things went sour in Mohits
Baba, much respect for looking out for the younger generation. I SALUTE
Don jazzy wants the butterflies to hit him "gbissh"😂😂😂
Don jazzy is so cute and simple funny i think he will make a good actor
Don J... I do understand. I have the same problem and I am a woman. Over sixty, I trust no one, I find people are not genuine, you can't be yourself with them. They wary easily, either, they now see you as not pretty or handsome as they hoped. People force us into having an obvious partner and when things go bad, they seem to enjoy the Wahala. I want a close love but, I'm happier single. Love yourself, take more care of your physical, take your time and save/or invest your money. I love you, I'm thankful for the work you have already put out. I love your laugh :-)
It’s good that you’re happy with who and what you have. Your peace is more important than what people think.
My dear, Don will never admit publicly his vulnerability of not having a wife in his life at this age. I don't think anyone can be happy of no having a wife/husband in her/his life. Anyone sick to build his own family, it's a need that's every human seeks for. It's not a matter of being happier to be single; it's also a matter to show the capacity of sacrifice for others because everybody can appreciate him from farway, but not beeing able to build a family can be a sign of someone who is very complicated to live with.
That last conversation may sound funny but it's really sad that we find it hard to support our own. These are guys who are pushing our country to give us a better name and recognition. We have to follow our celebrities even if we don't like them. It's very important and a beautiful thing to do.
Bro the all shit is really annoying I swear
I really felt what he said about Johnny Drille. The guy is exceptional and who will love him will love him, no need to dilute or dumb down anything
I love this man don Jazzy. He is so pure of heart
This is one of the best organic interview I have ever listened to. Don Jazzy is so real, while Ebuka is doing his thing professionally. Just my suggestion, since this is post-production program, it will be nice to request from your guests pictures or videos, whenever they mention names, especially celebrities, public figures etc. I believe alot of people do not even know JJC, OC Ukeje.
So emotional and matured.....we love you DON J!!!!! Just keep giving us good music
Getting to know Don Jazzy this much has made me love him, he truly does have a very big heart. Him talking about children gives a deeper sense of who he is.
This could be us lol 😆
@@adetayoomotoyosi8949 Werey 😂
This felt like a personal gist with Jazzy. Excellent!
This is so emotional, everyone has a challenge or something bedeviling them. Just appreciate your challenge and grow over it.
DON JAZZY HAS A GOOD HEART
Indeed 💯. If I wasn’t married, I’d so shoot my shot.😂😂😂😂♥️♥️♥️
😂😂😂 I feel!
Johnny drill is actually one of the best musician I've ever seen. Don jazzy was so right about that. All music is so dope.
I just like how don jazzy ended with attacking ebuka. Baba follow oooo🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love don jazzy, he is just too real
Don Jazzy is one free-spirited, easy-going transparent, truthful person, who doesn't seem to hold tight to things.
Best wishes, bro.
Don Jazzy is good people.
It’s like a casual convo but it’s actually deep mehn
"Ah, she blast me o!" Don Jazzy o. 😂😂😂 DKM!
The way the Don Jazzy laughs >>>>>
The part where he said “It dint feel like an interview”. Ebuka u sabi work.👏🏼👏🏼Don it’s good to know this side of you. I pray you find that which your heart yearns for.
If you don’t make it into the major leagues (ogbeni you play championship) all league na league Baba you get mouth kudos ✌️🙌🏽🙌🏽

I agree. Johnny sound is very different. Reminds of Jon Bellion a lot!

Don Jazzy's rant at the end of the interview is really from the depth of his heart. Deep
Lovely interview, love it and I have just started following some of these people he mentioned.
Forget Ebuka dey ask questions abeg 👍🏾
Don is just so good.❤
Don Jazzy sounds like he is constantly out of breath. Dude needs to work on his health fast
I love the guy and everything about him
Well spotted. But you know if you talk now, they will say someone is a hater.
He's a chronic cigarette smoker that's why
Doctors in the building
I noticed that?
Really, I thought that how he talks oooo
Totally enjoyed this interview...thanks Ebuka
Loved, loved, loved this.
Finally the part 2 done start..
I love this interview😊
I’m a female and I do agree with Don Jazzy about this love thing. Perhaps, the most confusing thing God has created.
This no doubt best interview of the year, Don jazzy so funny 😂😂😂, the bit where he brought out his phone for list of Linda ikeji’s husbands was so funny 😂😂😂😂
I dey forget to follow Ebuka self.. leh me go follow him now anywhere
I'm struggling with this same confidence issue donjazzy has.i can relate
I really enjoyed this interview. Don Jazzy was brutally honest all through, and Ebuka ofcourse did what he does best. Loved it!
