Another Saturday, another cool installment of “Gold Puffin’s Beautiful Builds.” I’m past the hour deadline but wanted to say hello and excellent job! We have a few Star Wars smaller sets in our collection from 15-20 yrs ago. I definitely need to rebuild them someday.

@@GoldPuffin The Space sets are so iconic! We bought our 1st (#6897) set in 1993 & still have the bricks, box (flattened) and instructions. It was followed by several Knights & Pirates sets. My favorite is castle set #6086. Some consider it the best LEGO castle ever. It’s a delightfully designed build. Ok, gotta go, my LEGO nerdiness is showing.

HI, Got a question about paint colour. If I had a room that was going to be a studio for stop motion filming, what colour would be best to paint the walls of said room. My logic tells me white.
Hi, that's a really interesting question. Obviously white walls will reflect the light the most - you might think this is a good thing if you are trying to achieve a lot of light into your set. But it does also mean you have less control over the light on your set, unless you are blocking it off at the sides/top - that is to say, potentially you'll have light coming in from all sides, and that might not be what you want. So you might want to consider a darker colour, or just grey perhaps. But all of that said, if you have blackout blinds and the main ceiling light switched off when you're shooting, the wall colour probably isn't going to make much difference. (I used to shoot in a room with white and grey walls, and now I shoot in a room with a disgusting shade of lilic, which I plan to change to white).

I really like Clash of Clans and I actually played it for years and my village was really good and I had everything fully upgraded except the walls, but then Supercell kept adding so many more levels to everything and in the end I just didn't have time to play anymore!

Yes, I have built an AT-AT lots of times before - so many times that I've lost count. But I haven't put one in a 10 Star Wars things you can make with 20 Lego pieces video before, and most of my AT-ATs have been with 10 pieces or other random amounts rather than 20. But yeah, I lose track.
Oooh, all of these are great! The way you made the semi circles for the Lucrehulk Class Battleship is really creative. I like that one the best :D
