I had an 88 Lebaron coupe that I sold 9 yrs ago and recently found out it was pretty rare. It was an 88 high line model with the turbo coupe package. This package had the premiums 15 inch wheels and interior but no leather. An analog cluster but the digital temp control, power seat windows and overhead console. It looked like a premium but had no crome wheel moldings and a turbo decal on the door molding instead of the badge on the fender. Turbo 1 auto. I believe they made about 2,000. Just felt like saying this as few talk about these Lebaron coupes. Thanks for saving all these awesome turbo Mopars and their parts.
So cool and definitely one of them "wish I'd had kept" cars!! Years ago I had an odd one myself. 89 coupe. Black with gray base interior. No power options at all and base seats. BUT, it was a turbo 5 speed with all wheel discs. I called it my modern age road runner
Pretty informative. I had the speedo in my 84' Daytona die several years ago and assumed it was the cable since I was hearing a clicking sound from the dash when driving it but the needle wasn't moving. Long story short, ended up replacing the speedo cable when it was the speedo itself. Pain in the ass and hard lesson learned lol. Wasn't really difficult getting the cluster out and I have a set of factory manuals so I read those first. Still keeping my eye out for your next 84' Daytona/ Laser arrival.
Not at this time but I can. It might take me a bit to get it done because of the only L body here with a cluster in it still is our GLHT and GLHS which are both put away for winter.
I should have read both comments first lol. I have a 90 Omni I can do. It's about done for the crusher anyway so it would be perfect to show that. I'll work on it this weekend.
Make sure to save the wiring, radiator and steering column. They're one year only. I'd love to have that collapsing column for my GLHS, but I just couldn't swing shipping on something like that right now. Not being able to work sucks.
@@marklucas3140the ignition is messed up on the column. The dash pad is cracked up. Shipping on a column isn't that terrible, especially with the discount I get on eBay.
Hail the algorithm!
We need these 88 to 94 Chrysler repair videos.😊
Thanks!! I love these cars and will happily do more how to videos if you know anything that can be covered

Do you have one of these for L body, Matt?
Maybe dash and heater box removal on camera?
